you know, it really had been a while since i had looked at the acmlmboard code, or it's DB layout for that matter, and i had forgotten that the code organization has all the tidyness and deliberateness of jackson pollock's paint placement

I found another bug with the PM system. If you're on powerlevel 5 (System) and send PMs, they won't show up in the "You have xx private messages (0 new)" thing. The number of PMs you have is still the same, but if you go to your inbox, they will be displayed.

You won't need to; the old register method is still provided (it's just unsupported).

Flattery will get you nowhere.

Thanks for the upgrade. Just one thing, would you mind having all the releases (acmlm.cjb.net:2) on the download page, to preserve previous releases?
The reason we're putting out a new release in the first place is so that people will be immune to the most gaping holes of the previous releases.

The system PM thing is just a result of a poor decision by ||bass to base system messages upon PMs. We will use separate tables when it's really implemented but I guess I forgot to clean out some intermediary code like that.

The point to keeping the old versions in an obvious location is not to have people keep with buggy, exploitable versions of the software, but merely to preserve them. Most useful if you want to check out the evolution of the board.
