| Eggvine won't open for me. some ''bad error'' keeps happening. Am i missing a .dll? Alternatively are there any other good YI editors out there? PS sorry if there's already a thread about this, but i don't come to this forum very often at all, and i couldn't find anything after doing a quick search. |

| ...and what does the error exactly say? Eggvine is programmed in Visual basic so you may miss a few dreaded visual basic DLL files. I have no idea which ones. :\ |

Yay, peter_ac hacking Yoshi's Island!  Anyway, could you be more specific about the error? Like, what does the error message say, and when do you get the message? And sorry, EggVine is the only YI editor, but it is still damn good, even without the display of graphics. You should give it a go anyway, you just have to get used to the absence of graphics. Dcahrakos supposedly was making an editor that would display the graphics and run more smoothly than EggVine, but he is completely full of crap, because he's never shown any screens (at least legitimate ones), and he's told me I would have betas of the editor last September, and again last month, but I still have absolutely nothing. So EggVine is your only hope, Pete, good luck! |

| The program opens, and asks me to load my rom, then when i click on Yoshi's Island, a popup appears saying ''bad error occured'' or something like that. i recall someone mentioning a few months ago saying that there were a few .dlls missing from the program, and he (or she) gave a link to those .dlls. Maybe my problem is that i'm using the European version of the ROM. That's why i can't try out your SMW2+, cause you obviously used the USA version. But i can't find the USA version, any where. |

| Oh yes, you can't use the European version. Only v1.0 (U) will work. I will PM you a link to that ROM. And if you ever need help hacking YI, just ask me, I'm YI hacking's MVP  . |
