i've been without VB for too many months now, but i found this on one of my old CD's, it's the source to an old project i was working on. i ws attempting to make a fully scalable and easily adaptble NES level editor base. This seems to have been one of my earlier attempts that didn't have the commenting, moduliarty, or other cool fun things that would've made this not worthless. as it is i'm not sure if anyone would get anything out of it, but hey, what the hell. i guess it's better than just leaving it on the CD, as i'm about to throw it out. link (edited by Gavin on 04-01-05 12:47 AM) (edited by Gavin on 04-01-05 12:47 AM) |

I was trying to make one of those for the SNES before . . . Not a level editor, but an editor nevertheless. It would be an editor to allow people to make their own editors. A great idea at first, but turned out to be way more trouble than needed. Imagine having to bug fix your program in order for someone to bug fix theirs | |||

I've considered doing such a thing; some sort of generic level editor sourcecode that could be easily adapted to others. I figured it'd be too much work, since editors are often game-specific, but I do usually make my source codes as general as possible so I can port them. Oh yeah, and here's the most recent version of Hack-O-Matic's source; it's for Pok |
