Ya, you can do this one for me, i wana do it my self tho, but since as no ones bothered to show a "making Exgfx tut" anywhere haven't seen one?. Why isn't there any tutorials, ah buggar it. Grrgh It's really pissin me off! DAMN fucking EXGFX! Arrgh.

Btw JJ, what emulator do u use, is it snes9x or zsnes?. The gfx seem really nice ah its super eagle or that new HQ3x.

Here the pic, it's a screen shot from a sega gens game. It should make an awsome FG3 exgfx. I allready tried myself, but can't f&*#'n do it.

Smwedit, when you say rip it, would that be you pasting the stuff into TLP or YY-chr?. Cause i've tried it but doesn't turn out right with proper colours. I want to know something and i know you can tell me!, when you make the gfx how do you get the palette for it do u enter the RGB vals in LM and save the palette or what?.

...the Lego tileset beats my crappy version any day... that looks cool! With simple palette changes, you could recreate Super Mario World in Legos, just like you showed. Neat...

If you need somebody to finish the Graveyard tileset for you, I could finish it for you. Just send it to my G-Mail account and I will try the best I can (my old computer finally crapped out so I had to pretty much start from scratch in SMW hacking. My newer computer though is faster and better but doesn't have a modem yet... so it might take a while to finish it).

I was wondering if anyone was going to notice that was the beginning of Yoshi's Island 3 there. The castle is a creation of my own. The palette I will submit with the Lego set will include a bunch of different palette selections for the Legos down in the last half of the sprite palettes so you won't be limited by my basic selections. The only problem is that this set takes up a metric TON of Map16 space, considering each possible tile combination requires 5 tiles, one for each palette. Expect to use at least 2 pages.

Sure, I can do that. I'm reworking it right now to make good use of BMF's palette fade patch to free up some palette space if you're so inclined. I'm also reworking the graphics I've already made using skills I've cultivated since I started this set so long ago.

And now that you've reminded me, how goes that level you were making?

So my level is gone... unless I turn on my old computer, put the level on a disk, and then put it on my new computer.

Odds of that happening: Likely, but not anytime real soon... maybe a week... if that...

smwedit: And? Could you provide information on it before you just say you are even thinking of making one?

Bowser_k: Get me an actual size pic and I will see what I can do (when I mean actual size, I mean one pixel = one pixel, not enlarged).

Hm, a city BG...

I may suggest ripping it from Mario Is Missing... (What? I played it to see how crappy it was... all I liked were the backgrounds)

for the city BG, I would get a real photo, and copy a few 8x8s from it, and reassemble in LM. (that is what I did for the lake BG)

I want to know how you make the BG and have the right colours to it. And i've tried copying some stuff from a screenshot .bmp 16col pasted in yy-chr saved it to a .bin. But it's so friggin hard to get the thing looking right in LM. Is there any way to just keep the colours with the damn exgfx file, rather than havin to get each one and enter it in LM.

not really, I don't know of any programs that will export palettes with the image in TLP or MW3 palette formats. You can only copy the RGB values from a program such as paint.
