And yes. That means donuts.

So I wanna play some MUDDs, right? And I'm trying to use Windows' Telnet. I go to the panel, and I enter in the domain name of the server I want to play on whem prompted, and the port too. Problem is, it doesn't connect. I've never used telnet before, so I really have no clue what I'm doing, but if anyone wanted to give me a few pointers as to what I might possibly be doing wrong, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

All I know is that when someone tells me to "telnet to" somewhere, I type in
open hostname
and it starts working with magic. According to the help, it wants
open hostname [port]
which I presume just means port is optional, not surrounded by square brackets. You probably already knew that though.

Note: You won't be able to see what you're typing unless you find some obscure option titled "Local Echo". Even if it doesn't show up, it should still be there.
