Oscar De La Hoya.

I just don't know what it is about him, but I think he got hit too many times in the head.

I wouldn't say the media overrates him so much but he overrates himself.

'The Golden Boy'

Pfft. I will say that he is a good boxer but not great. I haven't seen anything that would make him 'A Great Boxer'.

Hahahaha.

I'd like to see you hit a 90-96 mph fastball. I'd like to see you hit a 75 mph curve that breaks from your head across the plate. I'd like to see you THROW over 70 mph. Then get to me when you can hit 85. I'd be shocked to see you hit off most High School Ball Players. I'd like to see you play catcher for 9 innings and see how your knees feel the next day. I'd like to see you field a ground ball and make a perfect throw 10 times out of 10.

Now you'll bring up the running thing.

I'd like to see you make it to 1st base in 3.2 seconds ala Ichiro. Hell, i'd like to see you make it around the bases once. Stretch a baseball field out and you get 360 feet. 60 More than a Football field.

Now you'll bring up Babe and David Wells being fatasses.

Keith Traylor? Ted Washington? Shaq?

A cricketer has to do all that and more. Normal fast bowlers bowl around 85-90 mph. Also it would be harder to hit a cricket ball in cricket then hit one in baseball.
And also a catcher for 9 innings? So what, I'm a wicket keeper in cricket and I have to do it all day.

Baseballers would suck at cricket, but cricketers would be good at baseball.(By that i mean the cricket batsmen).

Hitting a baseball, is scientifically the hardest thing to do in sports, because you are trying to hit a round object, with another round object.

Perhaps but in cricket you have to hit a cricket ball every minute or 2 for a number of hours.

Oh and i'd also like to see a baseballer hit a Brett Lee bouncer at the head.

It is incredibly doubtful that there is any evidence proving this statement besides your own personal opinion, which counts for naught. It is realistically impossible to compare skills require across different sports, and they would all merit their own difficulty.

I'd say something like 'The Doosra' (cricket delivery) is scientifically much more difficult anyway, considering the delivery seems to defy the laws of physics, and there is only one man in the world who can perform it.

And I'm not knocking baseball, but a cricket Test goes for up to 5 full days, so in terms of skills required over a length of play you'd have to rate it ahead.

Your evidence for the statement is another person's opinion?

*claps*

Notice how cricket doesn't even rate a mention in the USA Today Sports "10 hardest things to do in sport" survey? (due to the fact few people in america can play the game?)

Notice how the 'scientific' analysis consists of only one physicists opinion, and nowhere does he show the evidence or studies that led him to this claim?

Notice that this physicist never actually claims it is the hardest thing to do in sports?

Notice the quote "we can reveal USA TODAY's choice for the hardest thing to do in sports"?

Notice how your own original quote "because you are trying to hit a round object, with another round object" does not feature in the article?

Notice the flaw in your source?

If you have something credible, which I might point out can't exist objectively, please give me a link for that.
