| Janus: "Ah... Guys?" He takes Satchel off of his back, and prepares to open it... "They might not really be interested in me... In fact, I'm guessing they're more interested in..." At that, he unzips Satchel, and Grey's chao instantly tries to struggle toward it, only to be held back by the detective. Janus reaches in, searches around for a few minutes, and pulls out... "This." It is a jewel. More specifically, an emerald. Silver-gray in color, and radiating an intense amount of energy, the Hero chao are all drawn toward it, and actually start to get onto their knees and chant when they see it. The jewel floats in Janus' hands, and Grey stares in amazement at it. He's done only a little bit of research on it, but it's pretty obvious, considering the setting and the reactions of the chao, what it actually is. Grey: "That's a---" Janus: "Yes. It's a Chaos Emerald. One of seven. I've been looking for them for some time, but this is the only one I've found. I thought Crystal Psipalace held one of them as its core, but Ex's ability to drain the energy from it disproved that theory almost instantly. A Chaos Emerald has so much power that it'd be nearly impossible to drain it all, even for a being like Ex." He puts the emerald away, and the chao stop chanting, regarding Janus with an almost saint-like attitude. He who holds the emeralds holds a great deal of power... "In any case, it'll be of great help here for sure. Especially if the chao are going to be the secret to keeping that Good/Evil gridlock in line. I agree with Dracoon, we need to get to the bottom of this." OOC: And with that, I have to go. I'm sorry guys, I got canned, Schwa, Dracoon will explain more to you if you ask him. Just so you know, I can't access the net nearly as much until (if my calculations are correct) June 10, so I'd appreciate it if we could slow things down a bit. It looks like with the end of the year, everyone's lives are getting in the way (I know for one that I have exams soon and I'll be graduating, too), so it's up to you guys if you want to go at your normal pace, I just want to let you know that I'll be less active than usual until then. |

| OOC Damnit Zero, maybe I'm stepping out of line, but you're going to far. Maybe no one has ever got mad, but its REALLY pissing me off, I've actually not wanted to post in my own story because I don't want to have to think for an hour on how best to resolve your constant interferences with trying to change MY story plot that everyone else seems to be able to follow and contribute greatly to, but you, you always have to sit there and argue about power, many thing. I've tried to be subtle and do it in my posts in the RPs, but now you're just making me mad. Let me shout it for you. THIS IS NOT YOUR STORY, STOP TRYING TO MAKE IT HARD FOR THE STORY CREATOR TO KEEP THE ORIGINAL PLOT GOING. Grey stopped his story because people wouldn't keep on plot and tried to make a billion sub plots and even tried to change the main plot, which I'm guilty of for sub plots. So please Zerodius, can you just follow along with someone elses story for once? Your character's aren't all powerful, I was trying to show you that in Ragnarok, but it seems like its going to be a pain in the ass to get it through to your head. Anyways, sorry about that Schwa, its just not a good day today or lately. COMP: "Chaos Emerald power judged. Strongest possible power generator possible. Use only in emergency, chance of merging with system is low." Dracoon: "Understood." Dracoon looked at the Chaos Emerald, wanting to use it. He knew better though, he'd had his chance eventually. He looked over at Stacice who was now having some problems. A few of the Hero Chao had decided to start messing with her. Stacice: "What are they trying to do!?" Stacice felt one crawl up her leg and that was enough for her, in a moment of an instant freak out of disgust with a quick scream, she jumped into the air and landed away from the Chao. She felt something still latched onto her ankle and she looked down at it. She still had one of the Chao in her hand who began to cry as the other one did. Stacice grabbed the other one and held them both trying to get them to be quiet. Stacice: "Can we please get out of here? I feel like I'm working at a nursery." |

| OOC: Zerodius, Dracoon is correct. I had intended on using the Chaos emerald for later story purposes. This IS a Sonic Adventure 2 based story, after all. Also, if you caught the reference in Ragnarok, Janus has the emerald there too, and Ex doesn't seem to react at all to it. Have you played SA2? The Chaos Emeralds are so important to the plot of the story that if they were to be just randomly drained of their power, the entire world would be thrown so far off balance, that not even Sonic himself could repair it (not that he could stand against Ex in a straight fight anyway...). If you have a billion new ideas that involve pieces of the story that are being thrown around and forming into a neat and interesting plot, then make your own story and put your own ideas into motion where they won't interfere with someone else's ideas. That's the best thing to do, and I guarantee if people think it's interesting enough, they'll take part and you can really cultivate your abilities with that interest. Schwa had a really good thing going with this story, it can't be taken apart like that, he's the SM. We've got to follow his plot until we can gain enough knowledge of the world he's placed us in to really make a difference. Ex has all the power she needs in her own universe, but this is Schwa's universe, and as such, his plotline needs to be adhered to. You did this in Ragnarok, you did it in Treasure Beyond the Old Door, you're in the process of doing it in High School Hijinx, you did it in Diving into Deep Darkness, and if you don't stop where you are right now, you'll do it to Riddle of the Chao. You aren't a bad roleplayer in your own element, and when it comes down to it, you've been very good in this story so far. But you need to realize that what Dracoon says is correct: I did stop my own story because it was entered into incorrectly, and because everyone was trying to mess around with my plot. Dark Weapon, Ex, the Hunters, SonicandTails, even Yiusi and Tuxydon, they have very little to do with the plot I had fleshed out. It was supposed to revolve around Janus and Star, with everyone else around to help out. Second, we can't argue like this inside the story. I know for a fact this is going to affect Hunter very negatively, even if he's not here at the moment, he eventually will read this. This conflict needs to be resolved. Zerodius, you need to leash your character's powers, it's starting to take away from the fun that other users are having. |

| OFF: Well, since my post is just SO destructive and nasty and everything... I guess that all that is left to do is to delete it. Just do as if I had never posted it in the first place. NOTE: I posted that deleted post when it was pretty late... in short, I was tired... and I sometimes make HUGE mistakes when posting when I'm tired. Also, Ex is NOT almighty. This version of Ex is not only half-completed physically but in many other ways. All in all, she is barely stronger than a regular human in her current form. Yes, I admit it, in some other RPs, Ex WAS overpowered... but in this RP, Ex is not overpowered. Unlike other RPs in which she begins at full power, in this one, she begins without even a completed body. Since there were no battles or dangerous situations that Ex had to go trought yet, it did not became obvious but... Ex's current form is quite weak. As for Dark Weapon... it still cannot be broken but it isn't very sharp or damaging in it's current state. She also cannot stop time in this form or use any of her fancy ultra-powerful moves. Her endurance is definitely lower: her mechanical parts have rusted shut, the regeneration process for her body is slowed to a sub-par level... and worst than everything else, Ex now has elemental weaknesses (something that she lacks when at full power). In short, her power is quite lower than in other RPs. The only possible advantage she may have is that she visited Dimension 9 in her own Possibility and that some of the things that she saw in her Possibility may also apply in this Possibility... but maybe not. ... On a final note, maybe I should use other characters apart from Ex sometimes... I noticed that I use Ex a little bit too often in RPs... ____________________________________________________________________ Suddenly, Ex was back from the Void. Ex: "It seems as if the anomaly has ended... I don't understand why I disappeared all of a sudden... and I truly don't understand something..." Ex approached Janus... Ex: "If the Emerald that you wield is a fake... then how was it's limited power able to bring me back? Sure... I am only 20% complete... but still, I tought that only the real, actual Chaos Emeralds could be powerful enough to give life to this form!" Ex tought for a while... Ex: "... but maybe I shouldn't be surprised. Maybe this is why this body is so weak... it is becease I was infused with the power of a weak, fake Chaos Emerald." Ex turned to Statice as she tried to chase off the chao... Ex: "Look at that! Do you have some problems with the little chao? I know a little trick, it's really easy, you'll see!" Ex searched in her backpack (which she always carried, no matter where she was) and then... Ex: "HaHA!" Ex triumphantly held a strange blue fruit shaped like the head of a neutral chao. Ex: "Now watch... if the chao in this Possibility act in the same way as in my world... then if I throw this fruit away, they should stop what they're doing to try and run after it." | OOC It was completely beyond my imagination and any logical reasoning I could ever have, but you COMPLETELY missed the point. Its not that you try and make Ex powerful, because anyone with half a brain can deal with that. You try to bring your own plot into it without consideration for the REAL plot that is going on, you don't make a little sub plot, you try and change the MAIN plot. | |||

| OOC: To Grey(bacca)... Thanks for coming to my aid the umpteenth time. You've saved my "arss" so many times I couldn't keep track. And P.S. I had no idea I helped destroy your RP, so I deeply apologize for that. To Dracoon... That's a good point. Really I'm not offended by this small incident, but I think I should've dealt with this ordeal first, since I started the RP... Still, thanks for dealing with it anyway. To Zerodius... You're a good writer, I've said that many times, but Ex isn't ALL about getting more powerful, is she? If so, you should change that for this RP, since that's not what this RP is about. Dracoon told you that, i'm just agreeing with him. That's pretty much all I have to say... To everyone... I'll tell you about the near-future plot to solve any further conflicts like this. Everyone is going to have to end up raising a Chao for a while in order to solve the riddle of the Chao. (And in case it wasn't obvious, the riddle involves how Chao, Good, and Evil all intertwine.) Janus's Emerald should play a BIG part in the plot as well. Just so you all know, Grey PM'd me asking if it was fine that he held one of the Emeralds. I said yes, because I was like "Hey, Janus specializes in artifacts from other universes and such, so..." And I think the story's turning out better because of it, actually. So... let's get this party continued, shall we? "Whoa, Janus... You never cease to surprise me." Schwa walks over. He stumbles a little, still affected by the amazing energies the Chao emit. "Looks like the, let's see... 7th Emerald. Yes, if I remeber right. I once had an Emerald, but I was just using it for one special occasion. It was one of my Psi Warrior missions... Yes, that's right. I remember it well, too... I was on this tiny, checkerboard planet with these red and blue spheres everywhere... Imagine this: You have to fight this HUGE Evil dragon WITHOUT touching any of the red spheres! Well guess what happened? I had nearly defeated the dragon when BAM, I hit a red sphere and it banishes me from that sub-dimmension! So I had to wait 24 hours to enter again, and the dude's at full health again! Urgh!" Suddenly, all the Hero Chao run away, as if in a panic. "Hmm... Must be a disturbance in-- HAH! Alpha Psibeam!" (echo effects) Without warning, Schwa launches his signature attack, a silver arc of light, at an unknown target. It would never reach it's target if Ex didn't move out of the way, though, as it was on a collission course with Ex. Standing maybe 12 feet away from Ex (behind her, of course) is a jet-black Chao with a zigzag antennae and a spikeball floating over it's head. It wears no expression on it's face but it's eyes are glossy and mischevous. Schwa is officially TENSED. He looks as if he's fighting Satan himself! (Yes, it's THAT bad...) |

| Not at all fazed by the reappearance of the mysterious Cyberpokemon, Janus executes a diving tackle to shove her out of the way of Schwa's psibeam, as it heads straight for the creature! He gets to his feet, takes his hammer from his back, and gets in the way of the psibeam, deflecting the powerful attack with the head of his weapon. Janus: "Stand down, Schwa! It's a Dark Chao, that's all!" Immediately upon seeing the evil-looking creature, Grey's chao squirms in his arms, and begins to cry loudly, burying its head in the folds of Grey's coat. DChao: "Chaw, haw, haw, haw!" It points and laughs at the young Chao, as Grey scowls at it. Grey: "Hey, now! What's the big idea with you? Janus, what is that thing?" The evil chao's tiny hands form an obscene gesture at Grey, who starts toward it angrily, but is stopped by Janus taking a firm hand to his shoulder. Janus: "Don't, Grey. It's like I said, that's a Dark Chao. The opposite of a Hero Chao, that thing's so evil that it's no wonder Schwa felt the need to attack it on the spot. But, my violent friend, there is a special case to these chao." He looks over at Dracoon. Anyone else would probably get singed by this, but... "Dracoon, you're the one in armor here... Could you please do us a favor and go over and give that Chao a hug? I know it sounds a little unreasonable, but trust me, from the looks of him he seems to be newly transformed. If you give him some genuine affection, I have a hunch that something interesting should happen. Just, be careful. He'll probably try to attack you." Janus smiled hopefully at Stacice. Maybe she could convince him? |

| OFF: I did NOT miss the point. Ex will not take the place of the main character... and I know that the plot isn't about getting more powerful. ____________________________________________________________________ Ex suddenly realised something: a beam of light was shot toward her. Janus shoved her out of the way just in time causing her to land on a big, hard, pointy rock, breaking her right shoulder. Ex: "Err..." Ex tried not to cry... but she couldn't stop crying. She realised in a brutal way how weak and incomplete this form was. It was merely the strenght of a normal human! Worse, she was unable to control her body's functions like she could normally and as such, the amount of pain couldn't be controlled. Ex: "AAAAAARG!" Ex couldn't keep it anymore and screamed in pain while still crying. Ex: "MY ARM!!! IT HURTS!!!" Ex looked at her arm... it was bent in a way she did NOT like. Ex: "M... man... I j... j... just la... la... landed incorrectly... and that body is... is... is already br... br... broken?!?" Dark Weapon: "Hmmm... Ex?" Ex *thinks* Can't think... painful... Dark Weapon: "I don't know about you... but maybe you should stop crying like a stupid pokegirl and focus on the mission!" Ex *thinks* WHAT?!? I'm NOT a pokegirl! I'll show you! Ex unsheated Dark Weapon and wacked the nearest pointy rock with Dark Weapon! CLOING! Ex did NOT like this sound. She looked at the second eye on the blade (the one that had struck the rock) and noticed two things: 1- the rock was still intact 2- the eye had been cut open and blood was flowing out of it. Dark Weapon: "OH GREAT ADMIRAL! I'M BROKEN!!!" Ex *thinks* WTF?!? I tought you couldn't be damaged? Dark Weapon: "I knew you were incomplete but... but I wasn't supposed to be breakable! Man! My poor eye... OW! OW! OW!" Ex stopped crying. She was not caring for her broken arm anymore. Seeing Dark Weapon being damaged both worried her and amused her to no end. Ex *thinks* Hahahaha! Who's laughing now? Dark Weapon: "I admit it! I admit it! You're not a stupid pokegirl! Those forms DO s**k! How are we going to defeat any bad guys if I can't even break a stupid rock! You realise that? EVEN A STUPID IRON SWORD CAN BREAK A ROCK! I'M RUINED!" Ex *thinks* Relax. Strenght isn't everything. We have our knowledge and skills intact. That's more than enough for me. Now... we should try and find a way to repair both of our bodies. We won't go very far with me having an arm broken and you with a missing eye. | Dracoon hardly noticed, his scanners were full on the Chao. COMP: "Dark entity, personality traits resemble many evil creaturse. Destroy or change." Dracoon raised the buster cannon and aimed it right at the Dark Chao. Energy puslated inside the buster cannon and it prepared to fire. Stacice: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!?!?" Dracoon didn't fire, but looked at Stacice, wondering what he did wrong. Stacice: "You can't just kill it, have you not been paying attention!?" Dracoon noticed the Chao she held in her arms and was now confused. The energy inside the buster cannon disappated and Dracoon lowered it. Dracoon: "What do you mean?" Stacice: "They change depending on how they are raised, but no one can get close to that one over there or it might eat them for all I know." Dracoon paused to think, wondering how he could emulate compassion. He couldn't fake it as he hardly knew what it was, but it seemed some people had taken to his behavoir as different emotion. Dracoon walked towards the Dark Chao who stared at him as if it would kill Dracoon if it stared hard enough. Dracoon reached down, but before he could grab the thing, the Dark Chao seemed to shriek in a twisted pain. The shriek only lasted a second though. Dracoon: "Odd..." |

| Schwa loses it. "Aaaaaaaa..." Softly waling, he falls to the ground, hands uncontrollingly emitting energy from all the different kinds of elements. "Chaos... Good and Evil... Can't handle it. CAN'T HANDLE IT!! NO WAY!! Being only human, Schwa can sometimes get like this. With Ex's arm broken, with so many different kinds of Good/Evil energies about, with Schwa in a sub-dimmension he's never been to before with no way to get back for now... he has an awful meltdown. This outburst in mixed emotions should greatly affect the other nearby Chao, unfortunately... |

| Then, everything freezes, at least to Schwa. Star appears in a ghost like form for only a brief second. Star: "Schwa... contr... self... you... to... this... yourself. Don't give up." Everything goes back to normal and Dracoon had picked the Dark Chao up and held it to him. Stacice: "Thats a lot better Dracoon." |

| "Ah... Chaos... Etheral Mending..." (no echo) Though in dire condition, Schwa manages to cast his healing spell over Ex, completely restoring her to max vitality within 10 seconds. Problem: The spell doesn't affect the sword. Schwa just cast it over Ex, forgetting about Dark Weapon. Schwa peeks his head up. "Weird... For a second... I though Star was here... Dracoon, what's with the Darkie? Ugh, still melted..." Tired, Schwa plops his head back onto the soft grass. Things are not looking good for him. OOC: With the RP neglected for a while, it'll take me a while to re-adjust to the plot. Keep that in mind, that's all... |

| Dracoon put the Chao down as it turned a little brighter. The chao sat at his feet, wanting to be picked up again. Dracoon: "I lost sensors for a second... Something paused time, it could've been Star, but what would he be doing here? How could he even be here?" Stacice looked at the chao at Dracoon's feet and walked over and picked it up since he wouldn't. The chao obviously didn't mind. Stacice: "You really have no clue how biological beings work yet do you?" Dracoon was taken aback a little by the sudden question. He didn't think he'd done anything wrong. Dracoon: "What do you mean by that?" Stacice groaned and didn't answer. |

| Schwa lifts his head off the grass and points directly at Ex. "NO!" Pause. "Sorry, but I'm NOT alright...
