| OOC: I've been playing with these Chao guys on a video game at home, and one day a great idea for a plot hit me, involving Chao, the Psi Warriors, and of course, Schwa. Anyone can join, just use common sense. So without further ado, I give you... Riddle of the Chao! "Calling all Psi Warriors in the Palace! Major crisis! This is not a drill! Enter the Dimmensional Core at 200MPH, stat! The biggest Good/Evil gridlock of all time needs reinforcing! Go go go!" The normally blue, delicate walls of Crystal Psipalace, HQ of the Psi Warriors, is now a shimmering light red, indicating a red alert. The largest Good/Evil amount in one area had been detected by Sensae the other day. The gridlock is currently located in some secret pocket of existance hidden outside normal existance... Not exactly a dimmension, more of a sub-dimmension. This sub-dimmension was so out of the way, that Sensae only managed to sense the huge gridlock because of it's immense size. Psi Warrior Scientists spent an entire day studying the gridlock to see if it was real. The results? Hundreds of Psi Warriors take off on crystal discs, each emitting a trail of ether behind him or her... Though chaotic, it is a fascinating sight to see, that is if anyone were there but them... Psi Warriors start passing through the Dimmensional Core of the Palace, which doubles temporarily as a portal to go to the conflict. Problem is, the sub-dimmension is so off the etheral road and hard to reach that MAJOR energy is required to maintain the portal... ...energy that others, lots of others, may soon begin to sense... In fact, the energy has never been this powerful. Soon the Psipalace begins to overheat, and the Palace is actually lowering in altitude... at a rapid rate. Schwa speeds into the Grand Hall, where Sensae waits, sizing the situation. "Sensae! This whole palace is gonna shatter on the ground below! We need to close that portal!" "I wish we could, but it takes too much concentration to close something this big. It must collapse on it's own..." "SENSAE!!!" "Get a hold of yourself, Schwa! Honestly there's nothing I can do but evactuate with you..." "No! Never give up." At this moment, Schwa flares up with rainbow colored ether as a loud, long, high-pitched ping echoes across hundreds of miles to anyone with a pure-enough heart to answer... "I am Schwa! HEEEEELLLP!!!" is the thought it leaves in the minds of those who hear it. And as this happens, the Psipalace, with only Sensae and Schwa inside, begins to leak ether as it plummets toward the ground... miles below... |

| Origin *thinking*: "So, they aren't being as quiet this time. I could've sensed that energy from Pluto." Origin readied himself, although his tower happened to move a lot, and rather randomly, it would take a lot of power to get it near the Psi Palace. He heard Schwa's telepathic message and decided what to do. Origin: "You owe me for this!" Origin focused his power into the tower beneath him. It suddenly began to sink into the ground, the entire thing under ground in a few seconds. Under the Psi Palace it sprang up, more like shot up, as it got close to colliding with the Psi Palace energy started to transfer, the transfer was slow, and it might be to late, but it would work eventually. COMP: "Power spike detected." Dracoon: "I'm on it." Dracoon opened a gate to appear beneath the choas, to wonder what the hell was going on. |

| Schwa: "----EEEEEELLLP!!!!!!!" Janus: "GAH!" The besuited warrior awoke from his bed with a start, the psionic ping screaming through his head like a siren. Gasping in deep breaths and clutching Satchel to him tightly, he looked around. Detective Grey's office apartment. Nothing wrong. But that scream definitely sounded like Schwa. And something felt really, really wrong.... Grey: "Janus, what the bloody hell are you doing, screaming that loudly at this time of night?" Detective Grey threw open the door of Janus' bedroom, clearly agitated at his friend's outburst. Having thrown on his coat (it was pretty cold in Grey's apartment, since he couldn't exactly afford heating...) and clothes to keep warm, Grey was a touch pissed to find that Janus had screamed for absolutely no reason at 3 in the morning... Janus: "Something's wrong. Something feels wrong, and I heard Schwa screaming..." Grey: "Schwa? Who the hell is Schwa?" Janus jumped out of his bed and reached into Satchel, pulling out Red's Suit, Green's Shoes, and Blue's Sunglasses. He'd need them. Janus: "No time to explain. We've got to get to Crystal Psipalace! Come on!" Grey: "What? What are you talking abo---!" But he didn't have time to finish his sentence, as he was pulled through a portal by Janus, and both of them tumbled out at Schwa's feet in the main hall of Crystal Psipalace. Janus: "Locking onto that kind of energy wasn't too hard... Schwa, what's going on? It feels like this place is falling to the ground!" |

| Schwa turns to Janus and the other guy he never met. "Boy that was quick. You're right. In a few minutes we're due to smash into the earth." Sensae isn't thrilled to see them. "How did you find us? Crystal Psipalace isn't that easy to--" "Sensae, it's the portal you opened. I bet someone could detect this place from Pluto now," Schwa tells him. Sensae sighs. "But seriously man, thanks for helping us. If there was possibly a way to lower the energy in the portal, Sensae and I could close it. But I wouldn't know how to drain portals... Maybe Yiusi would... She's a master of portals." "Schwa, I'm feeling the energy to go away on it's own," Sensae tells him. Schwa stares at him in disbelief, then at Janus. "Guys, I'm going out of the Palace to take a look." He dashes toward the Launching Bay to summon his Crystal Disc and take off. Before he even gets airborne, he happens to look down... where a huge tower seems as if it's been catapulted at the Palace. "Oh, my God in Heaven..." The tower may be helping the energy problem, but at this rate the two objects could very well hit each-other soon. Meanwhile, all Psi Warriors that were called to arms have safely made it through the portal. Where could they have gone off to? |

| Origin: "Schwa, how much energy does this thing need!" Origin began to let his aura go over the entire tower and readied to force the Psi Palace back up, but he was worried he might break it. Dracoon: "A better question is how will that thing hold against a blast?" Dracoon was now on top of the tower, his buster cannon pointing straight up, glowing brightly. Origin: "Don't try it, you'll just get us all killed." COMP: "Structural intergrity varies. A well placed shot may propell it into the air, a bad placed one may make it explode. 70% chance of the castle falling to the ground." Dracoon: "Damnit, Schwa hurry up." |

| Schwa looks down at Dracoon. "Give me 15 seconds then fire at will!" He runs back inside the Palace to tell Sensae his plan. "Sensae, we need you to focus a shield around the Palace." "That won't protect it from the gr--" "Trust me, Sensae!" There is a pause. "Okay Schwa, I'll use a shield on the Palace. Here goes... Barrier of Legends!!" (echo effects) Schwa helps too. "Endurance Aura!" he casts on Sensae. The Palace now changes it's glow color from red to green, as it's defense skyrockets. 15 seconds later, the Palace is right about to smash into the tower... |

| Janus: "Schwa, what do you think you're doing? Origin's tower is WAY too charged with energy to be safe to crash into like that! This is too risky, no matter what Dracoon's gonna do!" But then Janus got an idea... "But Dracoon's aim may be a bit better if the castle weren't falling as fast..." He places his hands together, and archaic symbols appear around his feet as he drops to his knees, slapping his palms on the surface of Crystal Psipalace's floor... "Slowga!!!" A rush of Time Magic flows through the palace to its bottom, and the falling building is slowed ever so slightly... "If... I keep this up.... Dracoon's chances of hitting will increase..." As Sensae's shield swirls over the tower, Janus' magic keeps flowing through, slowing it down more and more as it compiles... |

| Origin: "You can't really be serious. You don't expect to walk away from this do you?" COMP: "Target locked." Dracoon's buster cannon started to change forms, becoming a lot wider at the top and narrowing into his arm. Dracoon fired and a huge blast of energy spread outwards, throwing him skidding across the tower before stopping. The shot only lasted five seconds, but had enough power that if it was aimed at the earth, the grand canyon would seem like a pot hole. |

| Dracoon's shot knocks Crystal Psipalace back into the sky! Schwa cheers, and Sensae drops the shield. But now something else is happening... The Palace starts to quiver. "What's going on?" Schwa wonders. "Better take a look. I may still need you, Janus..." He heads outside, but before he gets there... ...Dracoon and Origin, from outside the Palace, have a clearer view of what's going on. The Palace is actually starting to disintegrate. Cracks are forming in the outer walls which light pour out of. Schwa makes it out and sees this. "All is lost," he says. "The HQ of Psi Warriors is about to be destroyed. Shouldn't the tower have absorbed enough energy by now?" The answer to that is no. The truth is the energy from the overloaded Dimmensional Core is multiplying constantly! It's actually gaining energy rather than losing it. And that, in turn, is destroying the PsiPalace. |

| Janus retracts his magical flow, and heaves a deep sigh... Janus: "Well, at least it's not falling to the ground anymore..." Grey: "What the hell just happened? Where are we? Why won't anyone tell me what's going on?" Ignoring the detective's comments, Janus turned to Schwa. Janus: "Two things: Schwa, I'd like you to meet my friend, Detective Grey Davis. He's been helping me for a while now. I can't really tell you what about, but you'll find out in about 50 years or so. And second..." At this Janus looks toward the energy core of Crystal Psipalace. "...This place seems to be gaining energy at a superfast rate. We're gonna need something that can absorb and control a lot of energy before it explodes. I've got a few ideas, but I don't think any of them will really work, not for this energy. I doubt even Satchel could store this much..." |

| "I have it!" Schwa exclaims. "Moonbeam of Stormbird is a technique that destroys any forms of energy. But it more like erodes them rather than shatters them. That would mean the beam would have to be held on the Core for a long time, and since the Core is gaining energy faster, I would need to be supercharged. "There's no time. I need to go now. Start working on a Mana Potion!" Schwa flies back outside and prepares to fire the beam at the Core... |

| Origin, still in the middle of his tower, wonders if he should start thinking about abandoning taking in the energy. While the tower has the potential to hold a lot of energy, it has never been tested, he looked around for Dracoon, wondering if he would be able to help, but he couldn't see him. Dracoon had landed on the Psi Palace and was walking calmly to the core, whatever was going on, that is where it had to start. COMP: "ETA till we can see the core, 1 minute." |

I am the ultimate embodyment of Good, a deity consisting of the spirits of all Holy Gods combined. Yes, it's confusing, because the God's spirits would have to be in two places at once... Think of it this way: the more Holy Gods out there, the stronger I am. "Now, son, what can I do for you?" |

| Suddenly, someone was pleased at the energy within the Core... ???: "Yes... just the right amount. With all that energy, I'll be able to take a physical form." Suddenly, something began to absorb the energy within the Core... something very powerful... Soon enough, the energy gathered to form a flame and then, the flame sent a call to the void between Dimensions. Millions of lost souls heard the call and entered the palace via the gaps between in the fabric of Time and Space... and gathered in the flame. Then, enough energy and souls were gathered, a single overwhelming force crushed all the energy into a single entity and the consciousness of the souls were erased as their soul energy was purified and used to create a single soul... Then, the energy was turned into matter and the being was finally physically there. Encased in a flame of pure darkness was a female humanoid mouse with extremely long ears, black fur, and blood-red eyes. ???: "Empty... so empty... lack feelings... lack humanity..." The being turned around and stared at the Core, which was still overcharging... ???: "Power... I need more power... to be complete..." The being placed it's hand on the Core and began to drain all of it's power at an alarming rate... like twice the rate at which the Core was receiving energy. As more power was forced into the being of darkness, feelings began to appear in it's mind... hapiness... sorrow... compassion... hatred... fear... excitement... love... ???: "Almost... almost..." FLASH! There was a blinding flash and the Core was drained of all of it's power... and all of the links that were destined to fill the Core with power were redirected at the being. Now, it would be the being's power that would increase. ???: "Complete... I am complete... or am I?" The being wanted to see what it looked like... It stared into the wall. The intense energy emitted by the dark flame transformed the wall into a gigantic mirror. The being was a horrific undead creature. It was half-decayed. Many organs and bones were visible as about 30% of the skin was just not there. As the being saw this horrific image, the feelings within it's mind disappeared. ???: "W... why? Why? Empty... the feelings... Why? Why did the transfer fail?" |

| Janus: "Hm, looks like he needs this more than you, Schwa..." Janus nonchalantly tossed the Ygg Berry between his hands, then hurled it out at the flying psi warrior. He turned to face the teenage mutant ninja Raichu, converting Satchel to hammer form as he did. It was a pretty crappy idea to try to absorb all of the energy from one of the seven Cores... "So, Ex, you wanna explain why you just tried something that crazy, or do we have to beat it out of you?" Grey fainted in surprise and terror. |

OOC: Hm... the Core is made of Holy energy. Be careful, Ex...  Also, the Core can't be destroyed, so you can't absorb the entire thing... but Ex could absorb all the excess energy if she wanted. In fact, she probably saved the whole palace.Nice intro, though.  Schwa catches the Berry, but notices the Core is calmer. He wonders why, then notices the humanoid mouse creature... "Janus, do you know this character?" With the Core at ease, the Palace slowly begins to regain stability in the stratosphere, slowing down it's flight speed. Soon it'll be still again. Schwa hovers over to the humaoid. "YOU saved us? Hm, not bad. But I'm a bit suspicious." Schwa's hands flare up with ether. "Not every person has the ability to absorb THAT much Holy energy... especially not a Good character. What are your motives? Speak!" Meanwhile, Sensae sees Grey faint. "Oh my!" he says. He talks to him in his sleep with telepathy... "Do not be afraid. I am an ally." Grey can talk back with his own thoughts if he wanted... |

| Origin: "Damn Ex... This world is going to be in chaos soon enough." Origin could feel the influx of energy, he knew Ex's power, and he was still working on a way to become more powerful. COMP: "Being identified as Ex Lightheart. Energy transfer went wrong, reason, unknown." Dracoon: "The being needs darkness to survive, as long as it stays in the Psi Palace, it won't find any, this play is a sanctuary." Dracoon kept walking forward, now entering the room with the core, still scanning everything. |

| The being stares at Schwa... ???: "Power... I need more power... so empty... need power... power..." The being paused. ???: "Please... more power... I need... power... more of it... so empty..." Obviously, this creature was half-completed and only had half of it's soul. As such, it was only half alive and while it was conscious, it's soul was not truly there, thus creating a void within the being's heart. The being looked around. ???: "Janus... remembering... friend... but cannot feel friendship... so empty..." The being approached Janus. ???: "Tell me... what happened... why am I so empty? Wasn't there enough power in the Core to bring me to life?" Then, it noticed Dracoon. ???: "Friend... so empty... please help me... power... I need more power..." | OOC: To Dracoon, the Core is floating above the Palace, not inside. It's positioned right above the highest point of the palace exterior. It looks like a huge sphere of rainbow ether emitting brilliant light. "Hmm..." Schwa doesn't know whether or not he should trust Ex. He askes Janus. "You know this guy. What should we do?" |
