| "And there came to be war in heaven: Michael and his angels, waging war with the dragon; and the dragon made war, and his angels." -The Apocalypse Chapter XII, Verse VII Abbadon was once Azrael. A grand Angel who was charged with leading fifty legions against the forces of Lucifer in the Seraphic War. Azrael fought with great courage, feroicity and indignation because of the treachory of his former comrades. They sided with the prideful Lucifer who sat at God's left hand yet wanted more. Azrael forces was essential in the banishment of the Fallen Ones and proclaimed a great hero in the eys of Heaven after the great and bloody Seraphic War... The War of the Angels. Some centuries after the war Azrael noticed on of the daughters of Adam bathing in the River Euphrates while observing the goings of Earth. Azrael fell in love with the Woman as he watched her each day, wishing he had been born a man instead of an angel for mingling of the two races was forbidden by the Lord God his father. But love and passion overcame Azrael and he came to Earth and laid with the woman. He returned to Heaven thinking his sin would go unnoticed. Seemingly it did and other Angels followed his example and bore children with the daughters of men. The women eventually birth to hybrids who grew to be giants. "The Sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives, whomsoever they chose." -The Book of Genesis Chapter VI, Verse II Azrael's sin was known and and was brought before God for judgement and cast from Heaven. Michael the Archangel who once fought alongside him forced him out of the pearly gates. Azrael begged forgiveness but was not afforded it so he took the woman who bore his child as a wife and lived among men. The hybrid giants or "Nephelim" as they were called noticed their streangth and superiority to Adam's race and began to rampage and conquer humans. Because of the abominations who terrorized the Earth, God caused a great deluge to ovetake the planet. Azrael watched with horror as his children and wife drowned the great waters while he was could not because he was immortal. Azrael the angel cast from Heaven for love vowed to take his vengence on God and the race of Noah whom he took pity on. He became the Destroyer or in the Hebrew, Abbadon. "And they had a king over them which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
