| Bel thinks and looks at the Garuda flying behind him. Bel: Hey, birdbrain! Come and get me! Bel starts to fly towards Schwa with high enough speed so the Garuda can´t catch up on him that easy. | OoC: Right, sorry, I'm speeding through the tower, I do kind of want to get this to the climax and finish up the story. Star didn't give Janus time to react as Star plunged his sword into Janus. Star: "Nino, now!" Nino: "Right!" Not even a second after Star attacked Janus, white chains sprang from the ground and latched onto Garro and Kalar, draining something from them. Star: "We didn't have time for this..." Nino: "I know... but it'll be fine..." Odin: "Damnit, forget this! LX!" Odin's new attack was incredibly devastating. Everything around him, suddenly exploded. This sent Fenrir and Drake into the nearby wall, which was going to explode to. Fenrir put more effort into a shield of some sort and stopped his wall from exploding, but Drake didn't have time, being completely surprised by the attack. The entire wall exploded and lava started to poor in and reform it. Fenrir and Odin disappeared again while still fighting. |

| Garuda streaks towards Bel, who is streaking towards Schwa. Eventually this puts Garuda directly at the mercy of Schwa's attack. "Alpha Gamma Omega!!" (echo effects) All 3 attacks, the beams, the wisps, and the megaton blast, hit their mark and Garuda plummets to earth, crashing against the jagged rocks and dying. Schwa doesn't waste any time. "Got 'im, Bel. Nice work. Quickly, we have to find the others. I'm picking up a ping in my mind... I may have an emotional connection with some of the characters, so I'll be able to detect them. Just follow my lead." Schwa makes a beeline to Janus's position, assuming Bel is following. It'll take him a long time to reach him, though... |

| Janus: ".....bastard..." He glared at Star, looked down at the blade, and collapsed into the snow as Garro and Kalar writhed against the chains. Eventually, all three were subdued, realizing that there was more or less nothing that could be done at the moment. Janus, however, refused to go down without at least some kind of struggle... When the sword was withdrawn, he staggered to his feet, obviously weakened by the unprecedented stab wound to the stomach. He was panting, and a small trickle of blood leaked from his mouth. The wound hadn't closed up just yet... "....So all those innocen---" And that was about when LX hit. |

| Bel looks at the corpse of the Garuda and thinks: "The next I see one of your kind I´ll bring it down myself. He then leaps into the sky and flies to the right side of Schwa. Bel is still Gigantic but the effect will wear off after a little while. The transformation also made his voice more powerful. Bel: Do you have an estimation of how long we´ve to fly? | Star: "To bad I didn't have time to explain..." Star sighed as he lookeed back towards the city and flinched. It was disappearing! Nino: "We're about to be moved to the next floor, and those two still have the poison in them..." Star watched as the ground started to disappear around them. Star: "All right, here we go." Nino: "Yeah..." Nino grabbed Star's hand, so far the floors had gotten worse and worse. She didn't want to know what was going to happen next. Dracoon: "We're about to be taken to the next~~" Dracoon didn't even finish his sentence as he was transported to the next floor. Serra gasped at the sudden cold feeling she had after going through the transportation. What awaited her disgusted her. A body that had been covered in armor, now ripped to shreds. His body was bleeding openly still, but he'd been dead for a few minutes. Nino: "Fenrir..." Dracoon: "Yes... that could very well be..." Dracoon walked forward towards a door in the wall and passed through it, Stacice running after him. Stacice: "We shouldn't seperate from them..." Dracoon: "I don't want to risk it with Star right now... You noticed Janus didn't you? His wound was inflicted by Star's sword." Stacice looked back and noticed the blood on Star's armor. Stacice: "What do you think happened? Star doesn't usually resort to violence so fast does he?" Dracoon: "He's being preassured. He has already realized that Dark Phoenix isn't really in control. At least while Fenrir and Odin are around because they're more powerful than him. Origin doesn't have a say in this either, but we know he's doing something." Dracoon kept walking forward, being sent down the next floor. Stacice was right behind him. Star: "... Schwa... Go ahead and watch out for traps..." Star looked down at Janus and kicked him into the wall. Star: "Get up." Nino's chains hadn't been released from the other two, but now they slowly started to. Star: "I said get up!" Star didn't bring his sword out, but looked threateningly at Janus. Star: "You once asked me for help. You told me to gather as many people as possible. In the original time line, I didn't bring any one and no one else showed up. It was only me and you against all of them! You died... You were weak and died. Axel stomped you into the dirt like you had never fought before." Star actually picked Janus up by the collar of his shirt and help him in the air. Star: "Get stronger or the same thing is going to happen in this time line." The memory flooded back to Star's mind. Janus: "Stay out of this Star, this is my fight." Star: "Right... I understand..." Janus never had a chance, he couldn't match Axel with anything, he was getting crushed. Star tried to jump in, but Janus stopped him. Star watched in horror as Janus was killed mercilessly. Star: "Damnit..." Star looked at Axel, the bastard turned away from Star, practically spitting in Star's face and saying he was to weak to bother with. Star: "You tried to rely on others, you have to have your own strength before they're willing to use theirs." Star threw Janus to the floor and turned his back and made his way towards the door. Nino got beside him. Nino: "Wasn't that a little harsh?" Star: "No. Its going to come soon and he's not ready." |

| Blood spilled form his wound as it began to close with increasing speed... Janus: "I.... I actually died?" He clutched his stomach. The wound was nearly closed, he felt his strength rise in him again. "You're telling me that in the unaltered universe, after all of that stupid shit I had to go through..." He got onto his hands and knees. A few droplets of blood sputtered from his mouth as his tone gained an increasing level of pissed-offitude. "... That after five hundred-fucking-thousand years of constant emotional turmoil, agony, pain, depression, after trying to commit suicide at least seventeen thousand times..." He was standing by now. The wound was nothing more than a scratch on his abdomen. How had Star struck him so fast? That made no sense, Star couldn't be that fast, could he? "... That after all that hard work I STILL lost?" |

| Star: "You didn't lose, you were crushed. The battle didn't even last a full minute." Star continued walking, sensing a greater potential in Janus than ever before. Still, he had to tap it, at Janus' current power, he probably couldn't even stall Fenrir or Odin for more than a few seconds. It was their unwillingness to waste energy that would keep them there a little longer. |

| Janus: "You've got to be kidding me!!!" His pupils dialated. Janus looked into Star's eyes, and could see it all: Axel's own hammer coming down... All of his friends dying, the world ending, bending even to Axel's will, for all that the bastard would live... He saw in Star's eyes his own eyes, forced to see the world razed to bits. Enslaved, forced to live in false happiness beneath the iron fist of Axel's uncreative, bland, formless... GRAY... mind. Rage boiled up within Janus. The wound sealed itself shut, no scar, scratch, scrape, cut apparent. Fear and anger rushed through his mind, anxiety ran in his very veins, and the roiling angst that had plagued him for hundreds of thousands of years finally came to a head. He could see himself dying, hit after hit after glorious, painful hit smashing into his battered body... ...And he couldn't take it, he couldn't survive. The awesome realization of just how weak he was in the eyes of the world hit him square in the stomach, and he felt himself sicken as he doubled over, his eyes shut tight against the fear that consumed him. What kind of hero was he? He had gone throughout history saying he wasn't a hero, he wasn't a hero, thinking his time would someday come and all would be well... But it wouldn't. According to that timeline, he just wasn't ready. He didn't work hard enough. He didn't have it within him. No, that was wrong. He DID have it within him, and by his word, he'd show the world just what he could do, just how strong he could be and just how safe they were in his hands. He would! Janus straightened, gritted his teeth, and stepped in front of Star, gazing further into the time-traveling scion's eyes as he bore the pain of watching the events unfold. He grabbed Star around the shoulders as blue light swirled around him. A hero's resolve was a powerful thing, when it had to be. Janus' tone was more commanding as he spoke, it hinted at a steadfast being in hot pursuit of whatever means necessary to his survival, and the survival of everyone he cared about. The skies darkened, a cold wind blew, and from the very skies came haunting echoes of days long past, long present, and longing for a bright future. And suddenly, Janus saw something else in Star's eyes. Something that made the light fade, the skies quiet, and the winds soften alongside his own hard stare. He saw something. Or, rather, someone. Strange that he didn't know who she was. But he somehow still did. Maybe... Maybe someday he would meet her. Maybe someday he would have to protect her. In that time, he wouldn't be able to... But in this time, he decided as he stepped away from Star, understanding more fully just what lay within him... This time, he would. Janus: "I..... see... Come on, then. The path is open. Let's dive further into the pits. Garro, Kalar, let her heal you. You've been poisoned, I believe we all were at some point. That was what I felt inside myself as we walked through the snow. Stand down, and you might have a chance at surviving." Kalar: "You really think we're gonna listen to YOU?" Kalar struggled against his chains as the poison coursed through his veins, making his heart beat faster, his body work harder, all the while creating the sensation of so much more power apparent. It was a lie, it had to have been, but he wouldn't believe it. Even Garro, with his knowledge of both hurt and heal, knew in the back of his mind that he was somehow unhealthy, but he would not accept it. Perhaps THAT was the nature of the poison. Janus had seen it, though. Star's mind let off more than the man could possibly expect. Janus: "If you don't want to die, sure... If you want to revoke your ways...." He motioned to the crowd of warriors that stood around him and threatened the two evil beings. All things could change. Magic was not infallible. "....and join us in trying to actually save the world, sure. Otherwise, I'm sure my friends can help me take care of you. Then again, as Star said, it'd be kinda weak of me to rely on them. I bet, considering what's been going on, I could kill you both myself. Again." Garro narrowed his eyes and spat. Logic dictated what rage could not. Garro: ".....Fine. Do what you will." Janus: "Thank you. Nino, if you could, please..." He bowed his head to her. Hopefully this was her forte, not his. And as for Schwa, that little display should have attracted the Psi warrior and his wizardly friend to them immediately. Kinda hard to miss, you see. |

| Floor 96, in shambles, completely destroyed. A charred body lay in the room, unrecognizable. Dracoon and Stacice dashed through the room and down the stair case, coming to floor 97 in a heart beat. They saw Odin and Fenrir still fighting, a slit up body of someone heavily clothed but with no armor. They continued fighting then disappeared, another door appeared and Dracoon and Stacice rushed towards it. The stair case seemed longer, and it took them almost ten minutes to reach the bottom. When they opened the door into the next room, they were almost shocked right into a coma. Nijote: "So the others didn't survive the previous floors?" Odin: "Others?" Nijote was standing over Odin, one of her daggers almost into his throat. Dracoon ran a quick scan, this wasn't the real Nijote, far from it, Dracoon had nothing to compare her with, as he hadn't seen the real Nijote in a long time. This one didn't have a life force either, almost as if it'd been made from several weak forces. He scanned around and saw the same thing in the others who were on the floor. Drake, Destin, Hero, Lunari, some young Star with a black aura, and Hector all were in the room, each one looking ready to fight. Hector: "I wish it were the case that they did die, but here they are now!" Nijote jumped off Odin as a blast of energy came her way. Odin jumped up and looked at Fenrir, who had been disposed of by Hero and Destin as soon as he walked in. He got up and looked at Odin. Nijote: "More will be comming soon then." Star: "It isn't enough for new determination Janus, I have memories of a time that hasn't came yet, you'll still be weak, part of me will have grown hundreds of times stronger. You aren't like a human though, you can't train and make a big difference, it almost has to be beat out of you. That probably why even after 20,000 years you were still almost even with me, although I lost a purpose and slacked." Star nodded at Nino who seemed uncertain with what to do with the two tied in the chains. This would leave them incredibly vulnerable after all. Nino: "You might not be able to move for a while..." The chains turned to a brilliant white and then blades appeared on the parts that were touching Garro and Kalar. It wasn't as painful as being cut open, but it hurt. A black liquid started to drip down the chains and after a few minutes, the chains began to sink back into the floor, causing the black liquid to disappear. |

| OOC: Received PM. Right when Schwa noticed the 'fireworks display'... BAM! "Whoa, who, where! Oh...." Schwa was warped to the next floor. "Dude, what the heck happened?" Then there's hostility. "Gah! More violence! Well... Okay! I'll fight!" He summons up some ether... and nothing happens. "DOH!! Is this gonna happen EVERY bloody time I'm teleported? I'm outta mana again! ...Guys, I need some help! <(>...<)> " Schwa is helpless for now, once again drained of all mana. The teleportation back to Origin's Tower worked the same way as leaving it. |

He glanced over to Garro and Kalar, who had slumped down in the chairs they were tied to, unconscious for the time being. "They'll be ok? That poison's effects can be countered, I know, but this is in time, right? We're not too late? Because... I want to see what's behind that door now..." He looked over to the ominous gateway. Dracoon had gone through it, and he knew that that was where they needed to go. His hand tightened around the handle of his hammer as he grimaced. |

| Off: Don´t worry, the dragon can´t attack. But it can protect Bel. It has a shield that breaks when its HP reaches 0. It currently has 150 HP. The amount of HP it loses depends on how powerful the attack are but it can´t reach 0 with just one uber-attack. Bel suddenly turns normal and looks at Schwa. Bel: What the heck is up with your mana? Bel sighs and casts a spell that restores Schwa's mana completely. He then looks in front of him at the violence going on. Bel: Oops, looks like trouble. Bel casts a spell that summons a black dragon and jumps up on its back. Bel: I´m ready. Bel takes up one of his swords and holds it in his right hand. The sword is glowing with a green intense light. | Nijote smiled as a blast of light energy smashed into Dracoon, he managed to block the attack to the best of his abilities and return another attack, now locked in combat with Lunari. Nijote: "Hero, Destin, would you mind take care of Bel and Schwa, it'd be easiest for you to do it." Hero and Destin nodded and each one jumped from their back line. Fenrir looked like he was going to interfer, but the young Star jumped in front of him and sent a nice big blast of electricity at him. Odin also looked like he was going to try something, but Nijote blind sided him. Hero and Destin: "Double X Strike!" Hero and Destin dashed towards Schwa first, they sped up and formed an X slash where he stood, they both jumped off the walls, being near them and did a flying X slash to Bel. Hector: "All right, looks like I can take care of you." Hector walked towards Stacice, she pulled out her long dagger and then thought better of it as Hector landed a kick, flipping her into the air, she landed and rushed Hector, Hector counted the strength exactly and Stacice felt like she'd just ran into a very hard wall. Star: "They'll be fine, Nino will stay with them till they wake up, we need to go though." Star didn't waste any more time for words as he sprinted down the stair way to the 96th floor and went through and down another stair way, hoping Janus was near. | Janus: "Alone again... Grand. Fine, fine, fine! Let's move!" He took long, loping strides forward as the sound of battle grew ever-nearer... And there was that grand melee, warriors of immeasurable power battling it out to the best of their ability. And it looked like the good side was losing, too. Janus stopped short, drew his hammer, and instantly lowered it to attack position... "I've got an idea that should turn the scales in our favor..." His eyes flashed blue as he rushed through the room, whirlwinding around the combatants and searching for an opening. He finally saw one, and only one: Drake. If Drake wasn't neutralized soon, he'd start ganging up on someone and then they'd all be REALLY screwed. Janus raised his hammer, and took a good, long look at Drake's armor. That wasn't gonna fly too high. He stomped his foot on the ground, and a surge of lightning crashed from the ceiling into his hammer, which he channelled directly into a swing towards Drake that promised to at least attempt to appeal to the conductive nature of the metal in Drake's armor... |

| OFF: Sorry for not replying for so long. Tried to make a good storyline explanation for my characters being missing in this post... ____________________________________________________________________ Ex opened her eyes... ???: "Exciting isn't it?" Ex: "Let me go!" ???: "They're losing... and you know it! They are powerless... alone... weak!" Ex struggled... but quickly figured out that she had been somehow sealed in some kind of alternate world, frozen in time... ???: "The time is coming... Can you feel it? The Ragnarok is coming... it is coming! Hahahaha!!!" Ex: "NeoBowser... how?!?" NeoBowser: "Hehehe... do you REALLY think I was this weak? Hahaha!" Ex smiled. So... NeoBowser had truly grown in power since he had first joined forces with Fenrir... and now, his power was returning bit by bit. Still, he couldn't have grown so strong actually... unless he was cooperating with whoever is controlling this place... and she doubts that this person will let NeoBowser become it's master! NeoBowser must have lost sight of the fact that this is not his Possibility and that the Evil of this world has no allegiance to him... Ex: "Actually... you are weak... weak of the mind. I do not know who is responsible behind all these manipulations... but if you're foolish to work with that person..." But then, the evil turtle demon interrupted her... NeoBowser: "HAHAHAAHAHA!!! MUWAHAHAHAHA!!!" Ex: "What is so funny?" NeoBowser: "Heeheehee... I will let you discover for yourself! Heehehee..." And then... the distortion ended. ... Ex appeared next to Janus. She looked around... and sensed danger. She unsheated Dark Weapon and turned to Janus. Ex: "Janus? What happened?" ... During this time... ... NeoBowser was grasping a small cracked pitch-black orb, standing in complete emptiness... NeoBowser: "Heeheehee... Soon... very soon..." A few cracks disappeared on it and NeoBowser's size doubled...
