| OFF: Starcraft, heh? Very best strategy game ever made in my opinion. Made a full three-episodes long campaign that takes place after Broodwars involving a Protoss zealot that was merged with a Zergling and that, along with other hybrids, awaken. Then starts a long story involving Kerrigan, Jim Raynor, and all the other heroes... as well as a few new ones such as the Protoss Traitor Archonack and the sinister Cerebrate hybrid, Glergz. The campaign starts with the Zerg episode, then goes the Protoss one, and finally, the campaign ends with the Terran missions. The campaign was made back when I was not too good with the campaign editor and didn't have as good a grasp of english as I do now but since the story was quite good, I think I should remake it sometime... Anyway, I think if we are to continue this conversation, we'd better either create a new thread or do it via PMs. ____________________________________________________________________ Ex slowly approached NeoBowser, who was now standing in the middle of the room, looking like an idiot. Ex: "Hehehe... Bel is right for once... you DO are dense!" NeoBowser: "I... I... I can't believe it... I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! Dark Phoenix infused those two with his power... AND THEY MANAGED TO LOSE?!? What kind of weaklings were they? What were they thinking?!?" Ex: "You sure seem upset about our enemies being beaten up!" NeoBowser turned to Schwa. NeoBowser: "You... YOU!!! I swear it! Even if I have to delay the day of my revenge on Ex... I WILL destroy your body and feast on your soul! You will regret the day you were born! Believe me!" Ex: "Ha! What do you think you'll do? The only power you wield is the incredibly powerful powers called "whining" and "stomping the ground with your foot like an idiot". Oh yeah! I had forgot! You also have the terribly scary power of "scream in rage for no good reason". Man! You're SO gonna own Schwa with those powers!" NeoBowser: "But will you SHUT UP you moronic pokemon girl!" Ex seemed totally shocked by NeoBowser's insult. Her eyes widened and her ears were lowered as an incredible rage arose within her. Ex: "I! AM! NOT! A! POKEMON!!!" Ex slapped NeoBowser with so much strenght that he spinned around like a top for a full minute before slamming into the nearest wall! NeoBowser: "GAH!!!" Ex: "I... OOC  ... this is why you don't sleep till 6 pm I see...Fenrir and Odin stared at each other again, almost as if they're trying to burn holes in the others head by just looking at them. They both snapped out of it as a sudden distortion occured that seemed to go all over the room... Serra: "Whats happening?" ???: "Don't worry about it... you can join them, or come with me you know..." Serra and Dracoon tried to find who said it, but no one was around. Dracoon: "Who are you?" ???: "I can get you out of here, thats all you need to know." Serra: "Who. Are. You?" ???: "You. Don't. Need. To. Know." Dracoon and Serra looked at each other kinda nervously. Dracoon: "I'm staying with them, this floor is about to collapse and we'll be on the~~" Dracoon looked up, able to see into the room everyone was in. Their celebration was cut short as every fell down suddenly, knocked out. ???: "This next floor is harsh and no one will survive it. Are you sure you don't want to come with me?" Dracoon grabbed Serra as she suddenly seemed to fall asleep. Dracoon: "No... I can't leave, they need my help." Star (TC): "What are you doing to everyone up there!?" Rhiea: "Yeah! Magic doesn't wake them up!" ???: "Yes, I forgot about you, I need to ask you to leave." Raiko: "Yeah right! We aren't leaving till we find out who you are and beat you down for putting us through all this!" Star seemed to think for a minute. He grinned, obviously finding a very easy answer. Star: "Yeah, we'll leave..." Star watched as Dracoon seemed to shut off. ???: "Excellent." Star suddenly disappeared as a rip in the time stream opened. Everyone else, slept quietly as the plummeted to a planet below. They'd somehow been teleported and now where all falling towards this planet that looked somewhat like theirs. Only one person was awake at all. Star, he wasn't effected by being KO'd, because... well... he was already. Star was holding Nino, in his dive towards this planet. Star *thinking*: "This wouldn't kill us... Dark Pheonix loves a challenge... I can see this being a pain..." Star watched as everyone seemed to disappear, he knew what was going on. They were being placed all over the planet, for some reason. Even Odin and Fenrir were teleported, only Nino and Star remained. ???: "You won't give up will you?" Star: "You know I won't... I spent thousands of years comming to terms with myself that I should come back to her, I won't let her be harmed..." ???: "Damn you." Star and Nino were teleported finally, but Star would never know how or where exactly he landed. Luna: "Ahh... damn... It feels like someone threw a hundred bricks at my head..." Luna looked around, she was in a city alley way. Not a great place to come to. She stood up, she didn't feel any different than usual, just having her head hurt a lot. She moved out of the alley and looked at the town. It looked a lot like a busy city, a very well developed one. She didn't have a chance to walk out of the alley way though. ???: "Hey you, what are you doing on our turf?" Luna spun around, about 5 rather big thugs were looking at her, each one with a gun pointed at her. Luna: "Your turf? You've got to be kidding me." ???: "What did you say!? WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME!?!?" Luna whipped out both of her guns in about a second and shot each and every thugs gun out of their hands ???: "HOLY! RUN AWAY!" The thugs were very pale and slow, but they did run away as fast as they could. Maya: "Luke... we failed..." Maya and Luke sat quietly, looking very depressed. They had been able to keep the majority of civilazation from fighting, but it was to overwhelming for them. They'd ahrdly been able to keep anyon now, so they stopped. Luke: "Yeah... I know..." Luke got up and started walking, Maya joining him, their sadness spred to the animals and anything living near by. They were sure the world was doomed. Luke: "Maya... Whatever happens, I want to make sure you're safe... So, we have to be careful..." Maya: "Ok..." |

| OOC: Uh, what... just... happened? Schwa doesn't notice that some of the others have gone missing. He turns to NeoBowser. "Ex, lay off him. I can take care of this punk myself... or with Janus's help, whichever my friend perfers..." He glances at Janus quickly, and refocuses his attention. "You wanna mess with me? I'm an embodyment of Good. One of thousands. You attack me, the whole body of Psi Warriors becomes your enemy. You WILL die if that happens, and YOUR soul will be neutralized by the above-infinite, above-godly energies of the Living Assets themselves, Virtue, Respect and Honor. Do NOT mess with me, psycho-b--ch. I am having a REALLY bad day." Schwa uses that kind of language to surprise everyone. He's usually not this dark. Then he notices, "Hey, did some of us vanish? Argh, what the hell is next?" He grabs Janus. "Tell me what the f--k is going on!" Then he holds his head. "Argharghargharghargh!" Yes, he has officially lost it again. Key difference? No sense of urgency (maybe) and Janus is nearby. Maybe it will make a difference, maybe not. |

| But Schwa's grab extended only to air, as Janus, Garro, and Kalar were gone... Janus: "Argh... What a headache..." His body ached all over, and he could swear there was a trickle or two of blood coming from his forehead that sealed itself up almost instantly. He sat up and glanced around. It was extremely cold, that was for sure. Ice, snow, blizzards all around, and not a sign of civilization in sight. Garro and Kalar lay beside him, both conscious in their miserably cold clothes, both glaring at him, still weak from Schwa's assault. "This is..." Garro: "It's... Siberia... Somehow we... ended up here..." Kalar: "I'm.... really cold...." Janus: "Hang on, I'll see what I can do... Red's Fire!!!" The flames burned from Janus' body, and a radius of snow was melted around them. It'd do well for warmth at this point, so long as they stayed within about five feet of him. Though, in the case of Garro and Kalar, that might be more dangerous than anyone else. "....There, that should keep us warm for a while. Now, we need to find a way out of here, and figure out where to go next. We're going to have to work together to survive, and it's already been pretty much established that you two aren't as big of a threat as you might think, so I'd advise you not to try anything stupid. Consider me your ally for now, got it?" The two haggard villains nodded as they brought themselves to a sitting position. Wet, cold, and with a small source of heat, what else could they do? | Ex turned to Schwa... Ex: "The Living Assets cannot purify NeoBowser. He's basically the Living Assets' complete opposite. As you can see... he's only with us becease his powers were sealed by Serra when he arrived in this world. That's a good thing... becease that I'm starting to doubt that Dark Phoenix is truly the one behind all those challenges! Yes, he got a weird sense of humor... but I was nearly killed and Dark Phoenix likes to annoy people, not kill them!... and even if he does, he doesn't do it for real. The souls of his victims survive and are either revived or invited to stay at his tower... So, basically, I believe that a greater force is at work here... an Evil force that seeks to eliminate BOTH Odin and Fenrir in order to lead Ragnarok!" NeoBowser: "Whoever lead Ragnarok decides of what the new world will look like. If good people like the Light Odin or the Dark Fenrir lead Ragnarok, Evil will be banished from this Possibility, just like Evil was banished from my own Possibility... but if this world's Evil takes Odin's and Fenrir's place, then a new world made of Evil will rise!" Ex: "And of course, you'll seek to learn who is that bad guy and then join him hoping you'll either become his second-in-command or take his place as the supreme master of the Universe." NeoBowser: "I'm that predictable? Too bad! Anyway... we're obviously in Antartica, on a image of Earth 2000AD or something like that." Ex: "How can you be so sure?" NeoBowser: "An evil mastermind's intuition, maybe? Anyway... I'll see you later, losers!" NeoBowser, seemingly unnaffected by the blizzard, advanced toward the center of the continent. NeoBowser was sure that a scientific base would be there somewhere... and who says base say equipment... he would steal a plane there and reach the closest continent and then... he would recover a bit of power by slaughtering and terrorising people around the world. As for Ex, slowly, she began to feel the cold and realised that she was wearing an unsufficient amount of clothes. Dark Weapon compensated by heating up Ex's body artificially... but doing so would keep Ex from using as much power as usual since most of her power was used to keep her from dying from the cold air. After all... it IS quite cold in Antartica! |

OOC: To Z, I misunderstood what was going on. Therefore, I have the perfect opportunity to annoy you.  Watch.But Schwa wasn't anywhere near Ex or NeoBowser... hence he didn't hear their important speech. In fact, he was talking to air when he spoke to NeoBowser, and Janus for that matter... ...because he landed on Everest. As in, the mountain, not the chewing gum. "Where the hell am I?" he said, slowly and a little unnerved. He looked around, and found he was on a tiny ledge sticking out the side of a completely vertical wall that would challenge even a rock climber. He tries summoning a Psi Disc, but he can't even bring up his ether... seconds later, he figures out why. "Oh... no." Teleporting such a distance is impossible for a Psi Warrior. But since it was forced teleportation, he basically did the impossible... which overheated ALL his mana reserves, destroying the, leaving him with no Mana, and, of course... no Psi. "I need mana. Now. Or I'm dead." Schwa doesn't dare move from his 2x3 feet ledge, as the wind whistles throughout the seemingly bottomless drop all around him... |

At least he wouldn't escape alive again." ???: "Yes, I agree, but you know that no matter what we try, it will always repeat... Fenrir has saved himself by not letting anyone live, he isn't protecting the world, just his own life." Everything seemed to pause and Odin realized he was just dreaming. He snapped awake, he was on a beach. A rather deserted one too. Fenrir: "Now Odin... we must put this game to an end. Just allow death to embrace you and don't think twice about it." Fenrir shot his gun and Odin leaped into the air, dodging it. Odin: "Why are we even fighting!?" Fenrir aimed again. Fenrir: "We have to fight, there is no other way for us to keep living. If we don't fight, the rest of the world will, and they'll kill each other. One of our lives is best used instead of all of theirs." Odin dodged a few bullets that came his way. Odin: "We have power to stop them though!" Fenrir: "No... we don't..." Fenrir shot again, but this time it hit Odin, right through the chest, and through his heart. Fenrir: "Good bye... again Odin." Fenrir turned and walked away, he was gone before Odin hit the sand. Odin saw his life pass before his eyes, and he knew he was dead. His body started twitching though, and it started getting worse, then he stood up. Odin had no control, something inside of him refused to die, even though, he was dead. The bullet had passed all the way through, and Odin started to glow, then he stopped and fell back onto the beach, this time, just asleep. Luke and Maya walked down a road, very nervously. Many thieves and bandits had been active lately, and they were sure some were trailing them. Maya: "Luke... whats going to happen?" Luke: "We'll have to give up and hope they don't kill us..." Maya: "What...?" Luke: "I don't want you to be fighting them... we need to be careful..." Luke kept walking forward, Maya cllinging to him. He tried to walk bravely, but he turned sharply and look at the bandits who just came onto thet middle of the road. Banidt: "Hey you two, stop right there." Luke didn't move a mucle, but Maya was shaking in fright. Bandit: "Drop everything you have that is worth any value." Luke: "I'm sorry, but we're just a traveling bard and dancer, we don't have anything." Bandit: "Fine, then we'll just take her! We can't go empty handed after all." Maya went pale while Luke thought desperately. He didn't want to fight, he never wanted to, it wasn't something he enjoyed, but... he didn't have a choice... Luke: "I'm sorry... I can't allow that either..." Bandit: "Ha, you don't have a choice, Nail, nail him." One of the bandits took out a crossbow and aimed it at Luke. In that same instant Luke took out a flute and blew it hard. The sound was weird, and everyone around dropped to the ground at its sudden appearence. It didn't take them long though, to get used to it and go after Luke. Nail: "Got him." Luke fell to the ground as Maya was screaming at him to see if he was ok, then he blacked out. |

| The winds swirled and whipped around Janus, Garro and Kalar as they trudged slowly through the snowstorm, with no signs of life anywhere for miles around. Their only sustenance was Janus' supply of Yggdrassilberries, copies of an original he kept stored in Satchel's side pocket. Not much for taste, but those things could keep anyone going. What seemed like years passed as they continued walking, their only reprieve the few and far between hours when the storms let up slightly, allowing for visibility, and occasionally even a little bit of flight. The trip was especially taxing to Janus. Keeping his flames going, leading Kalar and Garro onward, and supplying all three of them with food was nearly impossible, and coupling that with the stress of knowing there were a pair of cold-blooded killers following him couldn't be helpful, either. Once or twice he had tried to open a portal, to allow them to travel instantly across the plains and to another point on this god-forsaken, mutated version of earth. Something, however, was blocking his teleportation paths, some kind of magical interference. Every time he tried to pass through a portal, another one opened about ten feet away and Janus collapsed out of it, unconscious and leaving Kalar and Garro to fend for themselves until he woke up. After about the third round of this, when Kalar's arm and leg joints began to freeze up, the three of them decided to stop trying and keep walking. None of them said a word. There was no need for words at this time, there was need for survival. Talk only made it harder. Sets of winter gear that Janus had kept inside of Satchel, copied and taken out, concealed nearly every part of their bodies anyway, making idle chitchat something too hard to do to make it worth doing. South. They had to keep going south. South of Siberia was Russia, was the middle east, was the far east. Warmth, transportation. Food? Who knew, population problems down there were never solved.... |

| Ex: "OK... we're lost in the middle of nowhere and NeoBowser is out there somewhere, without anyone to watch over him and make sure he doesn't do anything nasty while we're not wacthing..." Dark Weapon: "Bah! What can he do, in his current state? Anyway... according to my memory banks, in year 2000AD, there were very little people on Earth, continent Antartica... all there was were a few scientific bases here and there. We need to find them... and then, maybe they'll help us find our friends?" Ex: "Or maybe they'll capture us and study us like animals. People were very superstitious back then and deeply feared DNA modifications. I don't think they'll take it too kindly to meet a genetically engineered bio-mechanical life-form..." Dark Weapon: "Don't be so paranoid! We're not even sure there are no sub-species in this version of Earth. Maybe humans aren't the only conscious beings in this Sub-Dimension?" Ex: "I hope so. NeoBowser and that Evil force's games are already big enough problems. I don't want to have to deal with xenophobic fools on top of all that! Anyway... closest base should be where?" Dark Weapon: "You're in luck. Starting from 1900AD or so, historical data on locations became precise... which means that you won't have to solve riddles to find out where to go! The closest base should be to your north. It will take two weeks to reach it if you walk at the speed of a normal human." Ex: "Great... just great... it will take FOREVER to make it there!" Ex begun the long journey trought the ever-white plains of ice toward a scientific base... |

| CRACK! Schwa feels a slight movement in the tiny surface he's standing on. It feels like the platform tilted forward a bit and dropped a little lower. "NO!!" Yes, Schwa knows what's going to happen... but there ain't really a whole lot he can do about it but except his fatal fate. CRACK!! The platform he's standing on slowly cracks a little at a time, falls off the mountain, and sends Schwa on a helpless freefall. "Be brave, Schwa... A Psi Warrior never dies. Goodbye, Material Plane..." he says as he falls to the craig below... But a miracle saves him. Schwa can see a gold portal open in midair below him about 100 feet away, and a dark object flies out. "Solaris!!!" It's Schwa's Chao... his companion whom he met in a sub-dimmension months ago. Usually Schwa has to charge up for 1 turn to summon Solaris, so Schwa has no idea why Solaris could be here... Regardless, Schwa's Chao flies straight up to catch Schwa. But a tiny object couldn't even barely hold up a human being, so once again Schwa's befuddled, this time as to why Solaris would try something like that. Solaris reaches Schwa in midair, and that's when Schwa notices his companion is holding something... Solaris hands Schwa the object... what can it be? It appears to be a small, green, shiny sliver of jewel or something. But Schwa recognizes it. "An Emerald Shard! From the Master Emerald!" Schwa clutches the Shard, and the Shard, acting as a power source, starts regenerating all of Schwa's mana. But he's headed toward the earth below very fast... it'll be close. Schwa barely has enough mana to summon a Psi Disc when he's close to impact, and he does so... The disc appears around his feet and he swoops back into the air 24 feet away from impact with the rocky ground. Solaris follows him through the sky. "Thank you, Solaris!" Schwa says, teary eyed and still clutching the Emerald Shard. He regenerates all his mana and gives the Shard back to Solaris. "Here." "Cha!" Solaris swings the Shard in a circle and cuts open another gold portal, shoves the Shard inside, and it closes. Solaris stays by Schwa's side. They land back on a more stable part of Everest, as Schwa sits down to regain his self-control. He's so shaken he's crying, and Solaris tries to comfort him... Solaris is a Dark Chao with the personality and face of a Hero Chao. He is black all over with a green spikeball over his head, but his eyes are glossy and he is kind, loyal and affectionate. He also has small Pheonix wings. He is sort of a Chao alignment hybrid, the only one, and he is Schwa's friend and companion, and also acts as the Psi Warrior's immunity to the Energy Signature gridlock in the Chao dimmension. Interestingly, if Solaris wasn't an alignment hybrid, he wouldn't be able to offer immunity to the gridlock for the Psi Warriors. |

| OFF: One of the reasons it isn't a good idea to seperate ALL characters from each others is that... well... it isn't very easy to post something worthwhile when your characters have nothing to say to... altought it is a bit of my fault if Ex has nothing to do until a week has passed (in the story that is). Anyway... this post exist becease I want to reply but can't think of something... sorry if this is considered spam but well... I'll probably think of something and add a few lines to show what happened to Ex later... |
