| ???: "DUDE! For the last damn time, I'm not actually dead!" Janus' voice screams into Schwa's head, telepathy style! "God, will you just give me some time to regenerate? Garro blew me to smithereens after he and Kalar double-teamed me and caught me off-guard. They killed me, but I'm not going to die that easily! Just take out Garro! Now! Before he can bring that Exorcism attack into full swing! If he does, Ex is toast, no matter what she does!" Meanwhile, Kalar took a quick step to the side as Star's slightly unbalanced strike came at him with only just enough haphazardness to account for a dodge. Kalar's eyes glowed red for a splitsecond, almost undetectable, most likely to Star as well. Kalar: "Heh, I see...... Interesting." (thinking):'He relies on the weight of his blade, and mainly the use of his legs to shift his movements around correctly. Good, good... But that can be countered...' In the time it would take for Star to face him again, Kalar retracted the scythe's blade, and the staff in his hands shortened to a handle yet again, this time forcing out a blade that extended into a heavy, two-handed sword. 'Blade to blade... This should help.' Kalar's movements aligned with the increased size of his weapon, and he swung the sword heavily downward and diagonally at Star, hoping to force his weapon out of the way. | Raiko and Rhiea huddled together, a little ways from Garro whispering. Raiko: "You think it will work?" Rhiea: "His body is almost completely gone and it might take a while, but it'll help a lot." Raiko: "So, how do we know he won't go after you instead?" Rhiea: "Cause you're the one using the gun." Raiko: "Good point... ok... ready... Go!" Rhiea and Raiko broke their huddle and Raiko shot at Garro while they both rushed him. Rhiea was glowing with white energy and as they got close, they suddenly tried to jump way over Garro with Raiko still trying to shoot him. Rhiea was intent on getting to Janus so she could help him heal faster, Raiko was just worried that Garro would decide to go after Rhiea instead of himself. Star caught himself and pushed up against the massive sword. He was hoping that Kalar wasn't going to notice his better fighting style. Star: "I'm glad you aren't stupid at least... you know how to make someone work." Star let the bigger sword drop a little, releasing the tension, then he suddenly struck back against it rapidly in sudden bursts, trying to make Kalar lose his balance or drop his sword. | During this time, Ex was feeling the power of the Exorcism... and unfortunately, this was pure Light, not Holy energy... and as such, she could feel the power trying to rip her apart. Ex: "Heh... dark fiend... I? I, dark fiend? You know nothing of who I am... Dark I may be... a fiend I am not. You're so full of arrogance... you sound like the angels of my homeworld..." During this time, NeoBowser's eyes glowed in impatience. He couldn't wait for Ex to die... for the second she would die, Dark Weapon would shatter and all the souls would be released. Feeding on those souls, he would be able to get about 25% of his original power back... more than enough to actually get his mind control powers to work and unseal a few of his magical powers... it would also probably give him back the power to manipulate Time and Space, alllowing him to teleport at will trought locations and timelines, thus allowing him to seal this pathetic world in a Time Loop. Once the world would be trapped in a Time Loop, returning to full power will be a piece of cake. All he has to do is let the forces of Fate unleash the wrath of Ragnarok on all beings... and then, go back in time and re-experience it. By feeding on people's negative feelings and less than honorable actions, he would regain his power and of course, he would never be stopped since he would always go back in time right before the Ragnarok was actually completed. Of course, he would eliminate any elements that appeared to mess up with the timeline HE has created! Yes... most definitely! The day of his return is not too far-off now! Unknow to NeoBowser was that this Ex Lightheart, just like himself, was a fake... After all, Possibility travel IS impossible and as such, this Ex Lightheart was just yet another copy. As such, while NeoBowser can obtain power from the destruction of Dark Weapon, it will be far, FAR less than what he is especting... in fact, it will be not nearly enough to make a Time Loop of even 5 seconds. |

| OOC: Well, where is Garro? It's frusterating not knowing where all the characters are. "Janus... is alive?" Schwa regains his self-control, a hard feat for a black and white thinker in this predicament. To Schwa, Janus could either be alive or dead, no in-between. But he gains his control back... slightly. He grabs Nino and says loudly, "Tell me where the hell Garro went. NOW. If Janus is alive still, I have to destroy Garro, save everyone else, and resurrect Janus before it's too late. So where did he go? I know my destiny! Do not lie!" Thinking, "Janus, you're gonna be my personal assistant if you can telepathically talk to me. You're paying me back for all the help I've given you and such. Is that clear?" Schwa is still angry, but at least it's a righteous anger and not they type that will limit his Psi abilities. |

| Schwa slowly turns around, and, "...Oh. Geezus, I'm so dizzy..." Schwa turns back around and takes a moment to regain his wind. "Like I said, you nailed me at a bad time... Maybe I won't be able to do this..." He then gets a telepathic message from Sensae. "The choice is yours, you know... but you may want to explain why you decided to go anyway. Am I right?" Schwa sighs. "Okay, fine. I may not enjoy this, but I'll give it my all. However, I need him not to notice me while I charge up. I might be able to perform Alpha Gamma Omega if I have the time. Nino, make sure Garro doesn't notice that I'm here, and after I charge up for (2 turns), lure him closer with an attack, or distract him with one, preferably the former. One who uses Good to do Evil cannot be underestimated." Schwa begins charging up red ether, in an attempt to perform Alpha Gamma Omega in a moment. OOC: To Grey, when we finish our current battle, I may be able to tie it into this RP a tiny bit. |

| Garro: "Ooh, that's gonna be a bit difficult for you, kiddies..." He pointed at the spot where the two cat kids would land, and a tiny cross appeared on the floor, ready to explode in a small bomb of white light. However, as Raiko began his attempted murder, the light from the Magnus Exorcimus grew brighter, expanding beyond just Ex and Garro. It fired up, now more than just light energy, to a level where Raiko would barely be able to see Garro in the light. Garro stepped forward and out of the way of the gunrushing assault, snapping his fingers as the boy landed on his cross. The cross blew and, if hit, Raiko and Rhiea would be quite well-stunned. The power of the lord was strong, but not necessarily murderous. As an aside, someone might want to save Ex soon. At this rate, it'll take somewhere around (2 turns, if you see where I'm going with this) for Garro's attack to reduce her to nothing more than a few scraps of charred Raichu fur. Kalar just grinned evilly, like he always did. As Star's speedy assault came upon him, the blade of the weapon shrank to katana-size, and Kalar whipped the sword lightly around Star's strikes. He moved in uncomfortably close with a few swift movements, and whispered cruelly into Star's ear as he brought the two warrior's weapons into a grapple... Kalar: "You might want to assist your friend... She's going to be quite dead soon if you don't, that's for sure." |

| Raiko and Rhiea were surprised... a little to surprised maybe. Raiko fell to the side and leaped up landing on his feet, then fell onto his back. Rhiea was flung over and rolled on the ground a little. She rolled a little more and got up slowly. She collapsed back to the ground. Star: "Damnit... I have to protect them before worrying about anyone else..." Star pushed back against Kalar for a second, then vanished, although he actually stopped time and walked slowly, he suddenly appeared next to Raiko, he picked him up and moved him over by Rhiea. A giant sphere surronded them and Star sat in the middle of it, glaring out with obvious hatred. Nino: "What... but... oh fine..." Nino walked out in front of Schwa, she really had no way of doing anything real besides distracting, but she could at least take one shot for him. Nino: "Ok... Earth Glaive!" Spikes of earth shot up from the floor around Garro, but none were actually meant to hit him, more to just get him off balance, block his sight, and trap him. |

| Immediately upon seeing the spikes, Kalar rushed toward them, and nearly sliced them neatly in two with his sword, until.... ???: "Hammer Throw!!!" A large, heavy hammer came spinning through the air, smacking Kalar in the back of the head and throwing him to the ground immediately. His sword clattered on the floor a few times, and the blade of the multiweapon slided neatly back into the small rod that now lay beside Kalar's hand. He gripped the rod and kicked up to his feet, a fresh stream of blood flowing from his forehead. The deadly scythe was once again in his hands as a new definition of fury accompanied a pair of glowing red eyes... Kalar: "I know that voice..." The hammer swung through the air back to its thrower, an extremely pissed-off looking Janus. His eyes glowed blue as power radiated from his newly-regenerated body, and he flourished his hammer back and forth in his hands a few times before bringing it to a high overhead stance, ready to strike. Janus: "You'd better, you cybernetic sap. Try a move like that again, I dare you to." ---------------------- Garro: "Ah, Janus seems to have finally returned to us! Wonderful!" Inside, however, he was slightly mortified... Perhaps his regen spell had backfired on him. Curses, he thought. This was going to make things harder, he'd have to kick things up a notch. "I finally get to turn up the heat!" The burning holy light rose higher into the sky, bringing Ex closer to her doom, as every inch the light went up meant more light was concentrated at the bottom of the cross! Suddenly, the spikes rose from the ground, obscuring his vision and trapping him and Ex within earthen walls. Something, he thought.... There was something happening, but he couldn't stop it just yet... |

| OOC: Sure, Trapster. Basically, Garro and Kalar are attacking everyone in the room, having just been freed from Janus' mind by Dark Phoenix's magic. Right now, Garro's beating everyone down and the only person who can save them is Schwa. Nino sent a message to Schwa telling him to come save everyone, and teleported him here with everyone else. Now that Schwa's arrived and Janus has been revived, they're gonna take on Garro and Kalar together. Unfortunately, they have to do it fast, because Garro's about to kill Ex if nobody does anything about that, and if Ex dies, Neobowser will become more powerful (even if it is only a little more powerful). | |||

| OOC Yes, because its used for non-battle purposes. Nino felt most of the energy drain from her just by using Earth Glaive. She summoned up as much as she could though, to prepare for her next move, although it'd be tricky. Nino: "Ok Garro... lets see how you like the dark..." The spikes disappeared as a large shadow appeared under Ex and Garro. The shadow was huge, and seemed only slightly effected by the light. Chains flew out of it and attached to Garro, not constraining him, just attaching. They suddenly pulled hard, triyng to go back into the shadow, but it wasn't his body they were pulling, it was his energy. Nino's weakness would not allow the attack to do much damage, but it would stall Garro. Nino: "Ok.. my attack should work by itself... he shouldn't be able to move..." Nino fell to the floor, still awake, but way to tired to move. |

Altought the holy light was quickly sapping her strenght, she was decided not to give Garro and even less NeoBowser the pleasure of seeing her beg for mercy. She would stand tall before Evil in the very end... even if it means death. NeoBowser: "Just a little bit longer!... huh? Those chains... they bound Garro to the Darkness?!? I guess this means I'll have to do everything myself... as usual!" NeoBowser stepped into the holy cross. Since NeoBowser had been infused with holy energy when he took over Heaven during the Great Sale, in his home Possibility, the holy light, unstead of being a scorching inferno, was like pleasant sunshine to him. He approached Garro and then proceeded to break the chains with his Trident. Once he broke them all, he got out of the cross. NeoBowser: "Heh! As if I would allow you to be immobilised so easily! Get moving now!" NeoBowser stood back, away from the others. Ex stared at him... Ex: "Worthless... traitor..." NeoBowser: "Worthless what? I tought you could have learned by now never to trust me! After all... when the original NeoBowser died, he sweared revenge on you and as his Memory Image, it means that I actually sweared revenge on you for killing the real me!" Ex: "Heh! You won't have your revenge if those guys kill me!" NeoBowser: "Actually, as long as you die, I will be happy. You have been meddling with Evil's plans for far too long! As the ex-Absolute Evil, it is my duty to make sure nosy rats like YOU and your moronic friends get what they deserve!" Ex: "But... they will kill you too!" NeoBowser: "What do I care? Those guys are actual, big bad Evil agents!... and thus, even if it means physical death for me, if they prevail... then so do I! As the Incarnation of Evil's predecessor, I will become one with the current Incarnation of Evil should I die... and since Ragnarok will be wrecked big time and that Evil will rule supreme, I will forever live... either as a great evil mastermind, once again at full power, or as a part of the new Absolute Evil!" Ex: "No doubt about it... you got everything wrong... as usual..." NeoBowser: "Indeed! Just imagined all that and said it aloud becease you're so gullible! See? I can make you believe anything about me! Anyway... I have no more time to waste with you and your worthless friends!" Ex: "As soon as I'm out of this field I will..." NeoBowser: "You will do what? You aren't getting out of there anytime soon!... anyway, I have neither the time, the will, and the strenght to crush you myself. I'll let Garro finish what he started! Have fun!" NeoBowser jumped into the cross and laughed, knowing he was safe within the light. Ex was bound to the holy light and couldn't move while his retarded friends wouldn't be able to touch him as long as he stood inside of the harmful holy energy field. | Schwa finishes charging... Truth be told, he had been charging energy at a MUCH faster rate than before, possible only through his righteous anger... and now he has five turns worth of charged energy in him. "Good going, Nino. Watch this." Schwa suddenly glides toward Garro and stops five feet away... but he moved at 75 MPH, meaning he was going FAST, and he also stopped in a heartbeat. As soon as he stops, he releases one of the strongest techniques ever possible to learn by a Psi Warrior. "Alpha Gamma YAMATO!!" (echo effects) It's a combo of three seperate attacks. The first attack, Alpha, is two thin red beams fired at Garro to do light Psychic damage and lower Defense. The second one, Gamma, fires two spiritlike energy blasts outward to home in on Garo, doing no damage if they hit but paralyzing him until the 3rd move hits. Finally, Yamato... This attack is a gigantic blue sphere of energy, 56 feet in diameter, that flies into Garro. If it hits, the foe will take unbelievable damage, but... unlike Omega, Yamato has some side effects... It causes ANY one random status condition upon contact, Schwa's offensive and defensive stats climb several points, and the damage the target receives is also returned to Schwa in charged-energy format. This means if the attack hits, Schwa will have 2 turns worth of charged energy in him! Schwa stands there and folds his arms, staring at Garro (or probably what's remaining of him), and nods in approval of his latest attack. "You want to harm my friends? You sure?" |

| OOC: Someone's been playing Starcraft, huh? CRACKA-BOOM!!!! Garro didn't even have time to respond as the blue sphere of light enveloped him. His eyes widened as his concentration was broken to pieces by Schwa's final attack, with the othe two attacks doing nothing more than bringing him closer and closer to complete vulnerability to the move. Knocked off his feet, Garro was sent flying across the black room and slammed into a wall as the blue sphere continued to press down on him... ....And suddenly, it dispersed, along with the white cross that kept Ex stuck in Garro's evil grasp. Kalar: "No!" Distracted for a moment from his stare-down with Janus, Kalar whipped around and could do nothing more than watch, wide-eyed (and with a quick, instinctive tinge of red) and full of wonder as his ally was blown into the wall and completely out of commission. Janus: "Yes!" Janus knew it deep inside him: This was the moment. He brought his hammer to his side, dashing like a lightning bolt past Kalar, swinging his hammer and leaving behind nothing more than a clean trail of blue light. Instantly, Janus moved from one side of Kalar to the other, following through perfectly on his hit with Kensai-like precision. "It's over, Kalar. You and Garro lose." He leaned his hammer on his shoulder and stood upright. His back was to the cold-blooded killer as that deadly scythe clattered to the ground. Kalar sank to his knees and dropped to the floor, losing consciousness even before his eyes closed. When the blue glow from Schwa's attack faded, Garro was in a similar position, his coat charred, hat burnt, and clothes in tatters. There was no need for a finishing blow; they were done for the day. Or so Janus thought: Garro suddenly showed signs of life, his legs and arms twitching as he tried to get up, his body numbed from the devastating assault. Garro: "....o.....ok.... I.... I give up.... You win......" Janus kept his guard up still; he didn't trust Garro, and this scene looked awfully familiar. Janus: "Another trick, Garro?" Garro: "No... No, definitely not... You've beaten us badly." He picked himself up, and barely had the strength to snap his fingers, returning his clothes to their former immaculate state. He stumbled toward Janus, and laid his hand upon Janus' shoulder. Janus drew back in anger and surprise, but Garro persisted. "Trust me, Janus... You... You have my blessing..." He then slumped to the ground, falling into a deep sleep. Looks like he'll be up in a few hours, Janus thought. That doesn't leave us much time to get out of here. Janus: "Schwa, I dunno what you just did, but he's been floored. Looks like he's napping, too. I gotta tell you, it's good to have you back." He trudged to his folded-arm friend and took his hand, then embraced him in a strong, brotherly hug. "It's definitely good to have you back." |

| Schwa returns the hug as hard as he can, weeping the whole time. "My God, I missed you... Don't die again, Janus!" Finally, Schwa has fully regained his senses. With Janus back in the team, Schwa's hero, he's fully ready to fight to the end under any circumstances, no anger or sorrow holding him back. OOC: Starcraft? Uh, no, haven't played that game in ages. Though I did almost finish designing a full campaign when I was hooked... It involved a Zerg with a severed connection to the Overmind and free will. But that's not important... What did you mean by Starcraft, eh? |
