| Ex noticed Fenrir and Odin... Ex: "Hey! Star! Serra! Bel!" Ex pointed her Blaster at Odin. Ex: "Time out! Now it's our only chance to separate them before everyone gets killed again!" Ex unsheated Dark Weapon and held it with her right hand while she carried the Blaster with her left hand. Suddenly, Ex's shoes opened revealing... thrusters?!? Looks like Ex has cybernetic implants after all... Ex dashed at a speed close to the speed of sound, trying to reach Odin and Fenrir before the explosion happened. Ex: "Oh no, you won't! I will not allow you to unleash the wrath of Ragnarok on innocents!" Ex suddenly exploded, revealing the being beneath the humanoid yellow mouse. Ex's true form was, actually, identical to her normal one exept that she was permanently covered with dark flames, her fur was black, and her eyes were blood-red. Dark Weapon, too, had revealed it's true form. It was gigantic and covered with eyes and tentacles. As for the Blaster handgun... it was no longer a handgun. It had merged with Ex's left arm, transforming into a Blaster Cannon. Under her true form, Ex was extremely powerful... but unfortunately, since she was pure darkness, the very air was corrosive to her true form and as such, it was obvious that she wouldn't be able to remain in her true form for long. Still, she believed that it was worth the damage and pain. She would use the extra power it gives her to prevent the death of millions of innocents. The pain of being slowly consumed is nothing compared to the lives of innocents... and anyway, this wasn't going to be fatal. It would just hurt for a while and that's it. Ex *thinks* I don't know if we can do it but... Dark Weapon! Dark Weapon *thinks* Activating Dark Overdrive. Creating Dimensionnal Anomaly. Preparing to alter the very fabric of Time and Space. Prepare yourself! This WILL hurt! Ex *thinks* I'm ready. Dark Weapon *thinks* 100% power output. Ex *thinks* Let's do it... NOW! FLASH! Ex's speed increased so dramatically that she actually went beyond the speed of light, thus breaking the Barrier of Time and creating an anomaly that caused her to be everywhere at once. In short, she had entered the Forbidden Travel Mode, Warp 10. Everything had completely stopped around her. Her past, present, and future were all there, staring at each others. Dark Weapon (from present) *thinks* We're too weak for this, Ex! I can last 140 seconds by myself! Dark Weapon (from future) *thinks* 240 seconds actually if we count the Paradox effect. Dark Weapon (from past) *thinks* Careful! As long as we're the only ones affected by the Paradox effect, we'll be alright... but whatever you do, do not draw Odin and Fenrir in the Paradox! Ex (from present) *thinks* I'll do my best. Ex's past took the place of Ex's present to make sure nobody would notice that for a split-second, Ex had vanished completely. Then, the present and the future approached Odin and Fenrir. A link of energy was binding the two together. This link was the source of the destruction for each time one tried to overpower the other, the link would grow and become more destructive. Ex (from future) *thinks* It will be hard to break this in our current power level... but if we unite, I'm sure we can at least prevent the destructive energy from consuming everything. Ex (from present) *thinks* Let's get to it. The two pointed their Dark Weapons at the link and then slashed the air around it, creating a rift in time and space, some kind of black hole that would delete events in the Universe's Timeline. Then, they attempted to throw the link into the rift, returning it to nothingness. Dark Weapon (from present) *thinks* It's working!... I think. Dark Weapon (from future) *thinks* We're running out of time! 15 seconds before we return to normal! If the past, present, and future does not reunite into a single existance within the time limit, we'll be erased from the Timeline! Ex (from future) *thinks* But... if we do not complete the operation, there are chances it may not happen completely!... or worse! It will simply not happen and we will have wasted energy! Ex (from present) *thinks* Maybe but if we die, the operation will never happen for we will have never existed in the first place. We've done what we can. Let's hope it is enough to counter Fate... The Ex from the present touched the future and they became one. Then, the present and future united touched the past, thus uniting all of them back into a single being. Then, in a flash of light (that no one but Ex would ever see, ever), the Paradox ended. FLASH! To everyone but Ex, it seemed as all she did was just get in close and then stand there... but Ex hoped that the Paradox had not been supressed by Fate and that it would take effect, thus nullifying the destructive force Odin and Fenrir had created. The only detail that could show that Ex had ever attempted to do a Paradox was that Ex's reserves of Life Force and energy had been cut in half all of a sudden for seemingly no reason... Dark Weapon *thinks* It's now or never! If the Paradox was successful, it will happen in 5 seconds... else, nothing will happen. OK... 5... 4... 3... Ex *thinks* If you can hear me, great Creator Chaos, I hope that you're good enough in this Possibility to allow this Paradox to happen... Dark Weapon *thinks* 2... 1... NOW! | Star felt the sudden change in time, but he couldn't identify it. Suddenly he felt his spirit being lifted from his body and he watched Ex in this weird zone. He smiled, Ex made a very good choice, helping everyone around, Fenrir wouldn't have to hold back now though. Fenrir: "Damnit, someone is interfering." Odin: "Ex..." Fenrir: "It doesn't matter, you will still die early, saving a lot of trouble." Odin now knew he body was at its max, and he could still feel a great lack in Fenrir. Something was missing there, but it seemed so off. He should be using his full power, but he wasn't. Odin: "Why do you hold back!?!" The power kept building up, it would explode very soon. Fenrir: "Because my full power has long since been lost. You won't die in vane though, your death will help save the world." Odin: "It'll help save your world! A currupt one, not this one!" Fenrir smiled as the power hit the limit, and exceeded it1? Fenrir: "What's this?" Odin began to glow rapidly and the explosion of power occrused, seemingly trapped in a bubble. |

| Ex: "Gotcha! I did it!" Ex *thinks* Do you think that the Paradox was enough? Dark Weapon *thinks* Dimensionnal Anomalies are very, very powerful. This bubble should stop the explosion from harming anyone... and just as you had guessed, Odin and Fenrir are immune to their own power. Ex *thinks* Good... but as long as the two will fight, I will be unable to rest. We must keep on following them! I must find out why Odin and Fenrir despise each others... for REAL, not that world domination crap." Ex suddenly felt an intense pain. She felt as if the sun had suddenly became a gigantic fireball that was burning her. Ex: "AAAARG!" Ex fell to her knees. In her true form, the very air was harmful to her... but since she was so busy with the Paradox, she had not felt the pain until now... and how intense this pain was! She felt as if she was completely covered with acid! Ex *thinks* Restore the armor! Restore the armor! Dark Weapon *thinks* I'm doing it as fast as possible! In a flash of light, Ex's dark aura disappeared and her fur and eyes returned to normal. She (and Dark Weapon) was back to her regular form. Ex *thinks* Phew! Man... this hurts!... but it was worth it. This continent is safe now. ... During this time... ... NeoBowser was fulminating! The anomaly kept the destruction from spreading. NeoBowser *whispering to self*: "That stupid rat! Always getting in my way..." NeoBowser tought it would be a good idea to counter that anomaly. While he wasn't strong enough to undo the anomaly... he could maybe add a little dose of "destiny" to the mix? NeoBowser closed his eyes and used the Trident to send messages to the deities of this Possibility... NeoBowser *using telepathy*: "To all deities that oversee this world... a mortal has dared challenge your authority! He has dared to alter the fabric of Time and Space in an attempt to change the Timeline YOU had planned! I believe you won't let that mortal get away with it, aren't you? The source of this anomaly, this abomination, is Ex Lightheart, the humanoid yellow mouse with a big sword made of flesh. You can't miss her." |

| Ex, however, was wrong, dead wrong. The power inside the annomaly was inflicting unimaginable pain to both Fenrir and Odin. It had almost killed Odin before, and this time, it was stronger. Odin couldn't feel anything anymore, his body was numbed by the pain, all he knew was that he had drifted away from Fenrir in the mass of energy. He could feel his very soul slowly dieing. Odin: "Is this the end? Did I already fail...? Why did Fenrir start early...? Why was I even born if I couldn't stop him?" Odin felt the energy thickening and was about to break whatever was containing it. For a second everything seemed to stall as he saw Fenrir, standing in the very center aiming his gun at Odin. Then the energy exploded outwards, destroying the annomally and ejecting the two from it. The energy moved to a single pin point and then disappeared. Odin was still in the air as he notice Fenrir landing on the ground, sliding. Odin couldn't belive it, someone had kept Fenrir alive, but drained so much to him. He hit the ground rollinh, barely able to stay awake. Luna: "Fenrir are you all right!?" Stacice: "Odin..." Stacice was already next to Odin, trying to make sure he was alive, Luna was next to Fenrir. Odin: "I'll live..." Fenrir: "Today you... Get stronger, I can't kill you before you get stronger. Everyone, retreat." Fenrir turned away, walking as if he had not been touched at all. Luna followed, amazed. NeoBowser heard a voice, but it was forceful and would've been dangerous to anyone else. ???: "All is how it is supposed to be. The darkness is almost completely banished from this world. You are the last one, and no matter who wins, you'll die." With the voice came a vision of what spoke, a ball of light with a definate shape inside of it, but it was to hazy to see. Star: "Don't die, any of you. I want to make sure I fight you at your very best. Maybe then you will have a chance." Star's ego seemed completely unfounded, all three of their power put together was greater than his, but his smile said different. Lightning came from the sky, and everyone was gone that was part of Fenrir's army. |

Maybe... Ex approached Odin... Ex: "I do not understand... you said that Fenrir was fighting to save his world, not this world... does this mean that he comes from a sub-dimension?" ... NeoBowser smiled. NeoBowser *using telepathy*: "You seem confident... but you do not know what world will be born from your efforts..." NeoBowser laughed to himself. NeoBowser *using telepathy*: "My death is not important. I am merely the shadow of the Evil One who shall be born when the Ragnarok shall be completed... a prototype, a living prophecy of the Evil that shall be born from the destruction of Darkness! Hatred... Destruction... Terror... Despair... Ragnarok was created to purge these feelings from the hearts of mortals... but as always, you overstimate the power of your creations... and Ragnarok shall bring to them the feelings it was supposed to eliminate." NeoBowser opened his eyes. NeoBowser *using telepathy*: "All those who are bound to Fate are lost, Great One... all those who are bound to Fate are lost... and while you may believe to be in control... you could be surprised in the end! For now, laugh for your plans are being followed!... but we shall see who... or what will have the last laugh!" NeoBowser turned around and followed Fenrir out of the battlefield. |

OOC   Metaphores are fun aren't they?Odin: "His world is this world... He wants to change it so he will be in command. It is the only possiblity." Odin stood up, his body barely being able to move. He was aching all over, how he'd survived he didn't know. The energy blast was a duplicate of last time, but it was held in. His body should've gone through more pain, but here he was, completely alive, not even seriously injured. The defeat they suffered bit at him mind though. Odin: "Lets get back to the house..." Stacice: "Right." Stacice braced Odin as she slowly made her way to the house, a few of the surviving recruits came to help, most of them being normal humans. The voice responded even stronger, clearly able to force ANYTHING onto their knees with its voice, but it didn't. It made sure NeoBowser wouldn't make a scene. ???: "Hatred, Destruction, Despair, Terror, all tools for the darkness. Each one slowly being evaporated by a counter part throughout the multiple realities, but maybe you've noticed, this one is special. Those are just as strong as others, and others are stronger. Order, Chaos, and Fate are in control now. If you're lucky, you might meet one of them." The voice receeded again, not waiting for a responce. Luna: "Why did we retreat, we could have finished them." Fenrir: "Someone was there, not wanting me to kill Odin yet... Just wait, they'll go to get the rune powers next, in Origin's tower." Luna: "Will they be able to get it from there? That place is dangerous, most people don't even make it out alive. Almost everyone just cheats to the top or has premission from Origin." Fenrir: "No one has ever made it to the top of the tower, at least by going through, but I believe they'll be heading down. We need to be prepared." Luna: "I'll make sure everyone knows." |

| Ex went to check on the surviving recruits to see if any of them were hurt. Ex had tought that no one exept for her, Serra, and the others had helped Odin in this fight... She had not espected him to recruit humans... which filled her with fear. Ex had never been confortable in taking part in large assaults... she was used to take on entire armies by herself or with the help of only a select beings and had difficulties to accept that during large assaults, people fighting on her side could get killed and as such, took every casualty personally. She was, after all, designed to be the perfect living weapon and as such, fKitten Yiffer to protect innocents and allies was something she couldn't and will never truly accept. ... During this time... ... NeoBowser was not impressed. As long as positive feelings will exist... so will negative feelings!... and as long as negative feelings will exist, he'll use them as the raw matter to forever revive the force know as "Evil". The voice of that almighty being... it reminded him of... could it be? Chaos? If Chaos himself has intervened and written himself the Destiny of those beings... things could get interesting! After all, NeoBowser IS the only one being alive who actually knows the only, hidden flaw of Chaos... the one flaw that kept him from making the Universe as perfect as he is supposed to be and caused his death in NeoBowser's home Possibility... but unfortunately for him, he was far from being strong enough to use that knowledge to his advantage. In fact... his fate was in Fenrir's hands and it angered him. Until that stupid werewolf finally decided itself to give him power, he would be nothing more than an ederly humanoid turtle. | Odin: "I won't try and win by a cheap shot." Odin's defeat was burning in his mind, he had to make everyone more powerful, but how? Origin, Odin only: "There are runes at the bottom of my tower, if you make it there, they are yours." Odin looked out the window, seeing Origin's tower suddenly being there. Odin: "After everyone is accounted for, we're on our way to that tower." Fenrir: "I need everyone accounted for before we go another step farther..." OOC I NEED everyone to post to make sure I don't run into difficulties later, I'm putting the story on hold for about a week to make sure who is in and who isn't. He knew it all. For the sake of the Grey Dawn, Janus needed to help Fenrir. "......Me." Janus remembered the first time he had ever met Origin, when he was still running from the very people who had become his best friends. The tower was incredible in size and scope, filled with traps and horrible fiends. It took a lot for him to just get through it alive, nevermind in one piece. Chances are if Origin's gotten stronger, then so has the tower. Janus sincerely doubted any one individual could get through the tower, but together... It was definitely a possibility. | Fenrir smiled, Janus was confident, and he had a right to be. He hadn't been quite specific.. they weren't going through Origin's Tower, but rather, under it. The ground floor of the tower was actually its middle, the tower is like a mirrior, reflected under ground. Fenrir: "Rest up, get to know everyone that is going, you're going to have to work together." Odin: "Ex, Bel, I want you both to be careful. I'm not to familier with either of you and I'm not sure what would be the best decision, but I want you to both know that if it gets to hard, you can leave at any time." Odin sighed, it was important they could all work together. Whatever was going to be in the under ground levels, had to be hell like. No one had ever fought anything down there, and being the first wasn't that great of an idea. OOC Ok, Grey, Schwa, Zerodius, Trapster, gimme a post from each of you being ready and stuff, so we can get one of the longest, most drawn out, and hopefully most awesome dungeon thing ever, begun. |

| Odin: "No matter what he's planning we can take care of it. He isn't at full power and won't be a big threat. Inside Origin's Tower you can safely kill him if you want, the tower can hold an infinit amount of energy, but it can't absorb to much energy from the outside." Origin quickly left out of the door and ran towards Origin's tower, everyone following. Fenrir: "Are you ready Nino?" Nino: "To the door of Origin's tower?" Fenrir: "Correct." Nino focused energy, white light surrounding her. She released the energy and everyone disappeared, reappearing at Origin's Tower a split second later. A little bit before: Origin: "So they are all on their way. Fenrir and Odin about to enter from different sides, niether side truely knows what they have to face..." Origin fell through the roof of his tower by simply going through it, and all the floors from then on. He landed on the base floor, in a center part no one had ever seen. A huge crystal seemed to be halfway buried under ground. Origin touched it and he heard a loud crashing sound and knew it had begun. Odin opened the door to Origin's Tower and looked around of what he could see. The first floor seemed small, very small. Only a stair case leading up and one leading down. Odin took the downward stair case, expecting everyone to follow. Star opened the tower door and turned immeadiatly to the first stair case leading down. Fenrir: "How far do you know the way down?" Star: "To the second to last floor. There was an enemy there I couldn't beat." Fenrir: "Go then, we're all right behind you." Star walked down the stair case, followed by Fenrir, Nino, Luna, and hopefully everyone else. The stair case looked long at first, but as soon as anyone stepped onto it, they were at the other end, the way back up became invisible. Fenrir's eyes caught onto the only thing in the very plain room. A chimera was in the very center. Star: "Damn, they are alive again." Fenrir: "What do you mean?" Star: "Each floor holds a monster or a trap or something. They are all going to be a lot more powerful with a bigger group." Fenrir turned to the chimera and shot a few bullets at it, each of them deflected off harmlessly. Fenrir: "Damn." The stair case and the room were exactly alike, except what was in them. A very familier person waited in the room, the first person to recognize them was Serra. She ran forward and hugged one of the figures, but instead of the figure embracing it, it back handed her and she flew across the room. Dracoon surged forward and tried to strike with his beam sword, but it was stopped by the other figure drawing a sword and blocking. Serra: "Its Destin and Hero..." Dracoon: "WHAT! Impossible." |
