| Well if your account is being deleted, I should probably tell you. Your post header makes you appear to have the intelligence of steamed brocoli, and your signature isn't much to look at. I'd probably fix that if I were you. Oh. And, ROMs are not illegal, the distribution of copyright material is. But I won't get into that. This is an issue that would have been better suited taken up with an admin or someone of higher stature, there was no reason to tell us. | It's not like ROM's got illegal yesterday, and besides I think Nintendo is hunting for the big boys. The people who make flash carts, the ones who sell them, people who hosts FTP servers with ROM files and thoose who make pirate carts. So I doubt the lawyers storm your house... Personally I usually download ROM files just for hacking, as I prefer playing it on the real thing. |

| If you hold a copy of an original game, ROMS are not illegal. Only if you copy or sell them for/to orthers. So as long as you have Ruby/Sapphire/Leaf Green/Fire Red (etc.) on your GBA, you may have the ROM on your pc.... |

| I can't really say much in the board's name anymore but I REALLY doubt that he is going to get his account and posts removed. If you wan't to "quit" then just log out and don't visit the site. Deleting 100+ posts is going to seriously effect the flow of alot of past threads. Besides, every thread post and user is backed up DAILY and the backups are NOT subject to change of any kind (this part I can guarintee because I take the backups.) | |||

This thread really made me laugh.  Ok, so you've quit and all. Umm...ok, but did you have to mention it all to the whole public like that? Sure, roms or whatever are illegal. Since they are and you don't want to deal with all that. Then just stop downloading them.
