So some of you might have noticed I've been working on a GBA hentai game and stuff, and I've been thinking about posting the Roadmap and Tech Demo. So here it is.

Catnip Dreams Alpha - The Tech Demo

Any ideas, suggestions?

Disclaimer - The tech demo is not representative of the final game. Any image seen therein may not survive. Don't misinterpret the Navigation System's use of a single room picture; each room can and will have it's own backdrop picture. Kyoufu Kawa takes no responsibility for extremist movements caused by the name of the scripting engine used in this game.

You should take that DDR mode of yours and put it into the actual game. A catgirl could challenge you to DDR, and if you could beat her (while distracted by her bouncyness), she'd take off an article of clothing. Beat her when she's out of clothes and you get a sex scene.

Actually, Squashy, the DDR mode -is- to be in the game. Just needs an actual song and prittier graphics.

If you get at least 50% of the steps right, you get to faq her. If you get at least 75% of the steps right, you get to faq her, and get an extra bonus too.

Althought the idea isn't orginal, Chrono trigger had a such room. Althought they had no custom sprites for the diffrent staff.

Before the game actually loads, hold L, A, B, or R. IE, Right before hitting reset in the VBA menu, hold the appropriate button.

I don't know if you can actually 'play' it right now, since I'm not one to try that, but... yeah.

That, and in the CATS room, there's a hidden door at the top (that goes nowhere... but still)

...now i'm more eager to help you with this project, but I still lack the SDK. And I really want to learn C for ARM.

To add ah, gameplay to the game, maybe you could do a minigame where you plah as two naked catgirls? Like, in the style of Super Mario Bros?
And eh... instead of saving the princess, they could save another naked catgirl, resulting in an orgy.
If you won't put this in, I'll understand, but keep this idea in mind in case you do a spinoff.

But it is a tech demo after all, it isn't much of a game for the moment but rather a... let say a ground to start on.

Most games looks like this one in the beginning.

I do like the SMB clone, that's something I even could program to include in the game as a minigame. But we should concentrate more on the maingame too and not add too many minigames...
