| Nino went through the gate, expressionless, not even looking around. Every single person there was already dead to her. Nino: "Thank you professor Oak." Nino bowed slightly to professor Oak as she entered the lab. Drake: "Friend you mean? Yeah... I haven't had one in a long while, the closest I've had was a sister.... Anyways, you shouldn't expect to see that ever since its not going to happen. I'm going to leave here within a year." Drake looked confident in his words, he really believed that he'd be out of here in a few days. Drake: "I know someone on this planet is looking for us, I just have to wait for them to show up and find us all and try to help however I can until then." Drake looked at a Celebi with a warm smile. Drake: "So, you wanna come with and help?" Sarah: "No... Its just your dark power... is well... fake." Sarah kept trying to look for another exit or something, she was starting to get a little uneasy being stuck in a room. Serra jolted over behind an outcropping at the end of the room past the cages, hoping that whoever was comming wouldn't see her. She tried to make herself as little as possible. Dracoon thought better of destroying something and just gave it an electric "tap". He used his sword and stopped the fan by putting electricty in it, overloading it. Either the alarm got fried, or it went off, just depended on how it works, needless to say, Dracoon exited the ventalation system and rested at the purifier, scanning for another way. |

| Inside Oak's lab... Oak: "It was rather reckless of you, doing that in front of all those retards. If they had took you seriously... they could have jumped on you and ripped you apart like rabid animals, you know! Ever since we got a new Champion, it seems that everything turned for the worst on our world... but this probably doesn't concern you." Oak approached a strange domed machine... Oak: "I have been researching pokemon for a very, very long time... but pokemons are very mysterious creatures... even now, we barely know anything about them... so, normally, I would ask you to catch every single pokemon you see so I can study them... but I only say that becease that's what the retards outside want to hear. The truth is... it is no longer about the pokemons' bodies that I want to learn... but about the things they call "Fate" and "Holy Laws"... and I think that you're one of the few potential trainers with the maturity and the skill to seek out the truth about them." Oak pressed a button and the dome disappeared, revealing three pokeballs. Oak: "This world is dangerous... wild pokemons becomes more and more aggressive now that the pokemon-shaped figure appeared at Indigo Plateau and the trainers, too, are going wild now that we have a new Champion... especially that the new Champion is cruel and ruthless. As such... you will need a partner for your journey. In each of these pokeballs is a freshly caught pokemon... pick a pokeball, any of them." ... During this time... ... Celebi stared at Drake, disappointed. Celebi: "I... see... I understand... After all, it is my Fate to be alone... well, you would be better staying away from me. All those who choose to follow me are destined to die and since I didn't your Fate, then you may be able to live if you run away now." ... During this time... ... However, it seemed as if there was no exit. Umbreon: "Looking for an exit? I fear that without the Dark power, you will not find it... and even if you found it, it only allows people who have sold their souls to the Darkness to pass! You are lucky, indeed! You are about to join the Dark forces and assist us in the destruction of all life!... may you like it or not!" The Umbreon began to glow in a purple light and it's dark aura was revealed. Umbreon: "Evil dictate that we shall bring every creature into the depths of the Darkness!... but it never said about bringing them in good shape! As such... you WILL cooperate or I will rip apart this pathetic body of yours with the incredible powers of Evil!" ... During this time... ... As Serra made it to the owner's office and it seems like he had left the door open!... not only that but the key was just right there, on the desk! Reaching it should be no problem for Serra for altought this new body of her is quite fat, it still can jump very well!... well, not as well as her old one, that's for sure, but she can still jump high and far! ... During this time... ... The fan slowed down, which would allow Dracoon to pass but... suddenly... BEEP!BEEP!BEEP! The alarm was triggered and the section of the ventilation system Dracoon was in was isolated, blocking the exits... leading to the interior of the building, not the exterior! The section of the ventilation system Dracoon was in was soon filled with a strange gas... poison? Fortunately, Dracoon is immune to these toxins since they only affect biological beings. As such, the way out is now open... altought the alarm was triggered. |

| Nino looked at the pokeballs and sensed a very strange feeling. She could feel life, but it was trapped, she immeadiatly felt sorry for all three creatures beyond what a normal human would. Nino: "They're... they're trapped... they don't even think with their own minds do they? I can't... leave a living creature in there... They aren't just animals, everything can think and live on its own, even plants and trees..." Drake: "Hey come on, why don't you want to stick around? Fate sucks anyways, not like it really exist... Hey, come one! At least tell me the way out?" Drake became frusterated, what was with all these pokemon not trying to live on their own? Sarah: "Oh be quiet. I don't have time for you." Sarah glared at Umbreon, and if glares could kill, Umbreon would be dead 100 times over. Serra readied herself and jumped, grabbed the key and jolted back down as quick as possible. Making sure no one was on their way, she ran towards Siryx's cage, and tried to open it. Serra: "Got the key hun, you just gotta wait a second." Dracoon: "Star was right... it was best for me to come." Dracoon crawled out and put all scanners on for any kinda of heat, movement, basically anything. He even started making a mini charge that could be charged up incredibly fast so he could attack quickly and powerfully. |

| Oak: "All pokemons must be bound to a pokeball to be considered yours... but rules doesn't specify that the pokemon must remain in the pokeball and the effects of the neuro-toxins wear off after a while. Furthermore..." Oak shown Nino a small tool... Oak: "This is an illegal tool which is kept in this lab for study purposes... it is a tool that disable pokeballs' drug injection systems. It's usually used by criminal organisations to turn pokemons against their trainers since well... being stuffed in a ball isn't quite fun. Once you will have chosen a partner... I will remove the injection system of the chosen pokemon's pokeball." Oak smiled. Oak: "You must be wondering why I'm doing all that when I hardly pay attention to new trainers usually, do you? Well... let's just say that I know that you aren't quite what you claim to be..." ... During this time... ... Celebi: "Fate governs everything. All attempts at breaking Fate were unsuccessful..." Celebi turned aggressive! Celebi: "If Fate had never existed, do you think that I would have REALLY chosen such an awful way of life! I completely hate it! All those powers... for what? I'm universally loathed and feared which means that the few ones who can actually see me attack me on sight or run away, terrified! I never asked to become Death! All I ever wanted was a normal life!... but who cares? Since you're not running away from me, this means that you will die soon and as such, whatever if I tell you everything?" ... Umbreon: "Enough! No more mister nice guy!" A black shere of energy appeared in front of Umbreon as he prepared himself to attack! Looks like Sarah wouldn't be able to get away without a fight... ... During this time... ... Siryx: "Err... Serra? Maybe you should have waited that the owner would get out of the room before snatching the key..." It was true, the owner of the farm had noticed Serra getting the key. He was standing in the doorway, smiling... in his right hand was a pokeball... probably the one to which Serra is bound. Owner: "Well well well! What do we have here? Stealing a human's possessions isn't very nice, you know!" Siryx: "Serra? I hope you still have your reflexes intact... becease he's about to try and hit you with the pokeball's Tractor Beam!" ... During this time... ... As Dracoon got out, the first thing he noticed was his body rusting and decaying from the toxic air... but already, the Dark Suit module was taking effect. Altought his body was still falling to pieces, the rate at which he self-destructed was reduced by more than 50%, which means he would be able to travel twice the distance as he could before!... not only that but the recovery rate from the toxic air while inside purifying fields was increased by 200%, which means he wouldn't get stuck for as long as before and wouldn't be so vulnerable. Judging from the readings he got, there was no signs of pursuit. This was obviously just a common security system that took care of incoming biological parasites and as such, is totally inneffective on the evil Nightmare Demons and on robots such as Dracoon. In short, Dracoon's escape went unnoticed actually... which means that he's now free to continue his journey. |

| Nino: "Oh... I see... I'll just make sure they aren't in their pokeballs very often..." Nino looked at the pokeballs, she couldn't sense exactly which one held what pokemon, but she could sense other things. A fear and a hate for all humans. Also a hopelessness, that they were all being controlled and had no chose in how they lived. Nino: "I'll take this one..." Nino pointed at the farthest pokeball. Drake: "You're just like the rest of the universe. If you want something done, you have to get up and do it. I don't plan on dieing anytime soon, or never for that matter. No one will kill me, I'll pass on happily." Drake gazed at Celebi, truely feeling sorry for this creature. Sarah: "Oh come on, just get off it and back down." Sarah stared at Umbreon, really hoping that would actually kill it. Serra: "Whoops..." Serra jumped straight over to the wall, bounced off, went up towards the ceiling, bounced off and right towards the owner, sending a thunder bolt forward before her, trying to paralyze the owner. Dracoon's scanners did pick up something, another purifier. He dashed over to it, still not wanting to risk anything. It would be stupid to take a pointless risk and just end up getting killed. COMP: "We should've brought Star..." Dracoon: "Yes, Bel would also be a nice to have during this." COMP: "Yes, this wasn't very smart to do solo..." |

| Oak: "Actually... since you are extra-special, I'll give you a better choice." Oak pressed a button and one more set of 3 pokeballs appeared! Oak: "OK... listen up. Pokeball #1 contains a Charmander. Charmanders are small dragon hatchlings that are quite friendly but aren't quite that strong. Eventually, they will become Charziards, huge dragons that can face almost any non-water-elemental foe. However, beware of their teenager morph, the Charmeleon! Even if they are loved and raised as equals, Charmeleons WILL rebel and do everything in their power to make your life miserable... even at their own risk and even if it's not what they wanted to do in the first place! As such, if you feel brave, take one. Pokeball #2 contain a Squirtle. It's a common turtle pokemon with average offensive and defensive powers. Squirtles tend to be quite smart but aren't quite as friendly as Charmanders. Squirtles have no childhood and teenager morphs: this one starts out as an adult and as such, there is no fear of a rebellion becease of out-of-control hormones. However, Squirtles won't become quite as mighty as Charizards in raw strenght. Pokeball #3 contains a Bulbasaur. Bulbasaurs are not friendly at all and tend to hate most forms of life becease of their irrationally huge trust toward plants. In fact, they tend to prefer plants to even members of their own specie. As such, it will be hard to convaince him to be your partner. Bulbasaurs starts out the strongest out of the 3 basic pokemons... but he ends up the weakest as he will never really get very destructive techs and his strongest tech requires a bit of strategy to be really effective. Pokeball #4 contain a Cyndaquil. This Cyndaquil is a typical one: she's quite shy and not into fighting. Cyndquils are quite strong and are, just like Charmanders, the child form of a larger, stronger pokemon. Unlike the Charmander, who rebels when he reach his teenager form, Cyndaquils turn more and more vicious as they grow, eventually becoming a powerful but sadistic Typhlosion. Altought it's adult form is obsessed with battling, Cyndaquils tend to have less raw power than the others when they have reached maximum potential. They're better than Venusaurs in terms of raw power... but they're still below average. Pokeball #5 contains a Totodile. Totodiles are extremely friendly and playful... but they're also unable to control themselves and as such, with bite anything they come into contact with, even if they didn't wanted to, in the first place! Totodiles do not have, just like Squirtles, a child/teenager form and as such, will not rebel. As it evolve, it will gain control over it's biting instinct and become more calm. While it's basic form is hard to endure becease of it's "bite first, ask questions later" attitude, many trainers regard it as the best partner. At maximum potential, Totodiles are just a bit above Squirtles in terms of raw power. The final pokeball contain a Chikorita. Chikoritas starts out the weakest among all of the six pokemons. They're the most friendly and they have been reported cases of Chikoritas falling in love with their trainers for no apparent reason... but Chikoritas are, as stated earlier, very weak. Just like the Squirtle and the Totodile, the Chikorita starts out as an adult. It is the only of the 6 pokemons that will not mature trought it's evolutions: it already reached maturity when you're taking her along. The Meganium, Chikorita's final form, is VERY strong. I mean it! While it can't fly like Charizard and has the elemental disadvantage, it's so strong that in melee combat, the Meganium will hammer the Charizard into the ground on every level." Once Oak finished, he paused... Oak: "Well... that's all you need to know... if you're a common trainer and do not care about the individual pokemons. Now, I'll tell you more of a background on how each pokemon got here and what I know of it's personality and what it's past trainers, if it had past trainers, said of them. OK! The Charmander had quite a sad story. It's parents both died during a storm and he got stuck all alone, in the middle of a storm, on an isolated island. There, he was harrassed by water pokemons and almost killed. Then, a few weeks later, before he would die, he was caught. He was constantly swapped as trainers didn't liked him. He was too much of a crybaby and didn't obeyed very well. Some trainers... well, a lot of them, actually beaten him up! Finally, he ended up here. He was traumatised from all that and sees humans as a threat... but since he's so young, he didn't developped a paranoia toward humans yet. If you're kind enough to him, maybe he'll recover from his traumatism. The Squirtle's story is very different. This Squirtle obviously heard of the stories about the ex-Champion's Squirtle and tried to follow in his footsteps. As such, he regrouped many of the water pokemons he knew and hunted fires all around to extinguish, hoping people would see them as heroes. They were disappointed when the only reputation they got was that they were seen as potential targets to be caught. The trainers caught them all one by one and now, the Squirtle got here. He's rather depressed since his dreams of being a hero were, well, pretty much shattered. The Bulbasaur lived a normal life in a forest until he was caught. Then, he was just like "whatever" and obeyed well, doing whatever his trainer ordered. However, it was recently found that his trainer was working for Team Rocket, the internationnal criminal organisation. As such, his pokemon were confiscated and the Bulbasaur landed there. This is a common Bulbasaur in the fact that he has, for some reason, suppressed his own personality and tried to become just a living tool... and apparently succeeded. Altought he hadn't a horrible life, his blatant lack of personality and will makes him quite a sad sight... The Cyndaquil is quite strange. Most Cyndaquils are supposed to be shy... but this one isn't quite shy. This young and energic female acts all tough and resisted for quite a while to the assaults of pokemon trainers. However, she got caught in the end. People espected her to be just as tough as a trained pokemon... but for some reason, she was too shy and nervous to actually fight and as such, she was abandonned. Knowing that abandonned pokemons do not live long usually once released, I caught her back and placed here, in my research institute. The Totodile is quite the usual of what you could espect from a Totodile... at one VERY important exeption. This is a Dark Pokemon, which means that he's constantly surrounded by an aura of dark flames and is avoided like the plague by pokemons and trainers alike. As such, he was never truly caught... unless you count him getting in this lab. This Totodile didn't fought often... but according from what I heard, people wouldn't want to use him becease that the entire extend of his dark powers surface during battle causing him to go totally beserk. When you think about it, it's a bit unfair. This Totodile is extremely friendly but becease of a few black flames swirling around him, he is avoided like the plague. All Dark Pokemons aren't evil, after all! Finally, the Chikorita is a young female that basically falls in love with every single one of her male trainers and instantly become friends with her female ones... but she couldn't get much of any trainer since she was swapped like, every single day. She was caught when she was very, very young and as such, do not know much of the world exept for Pokemon Centers and arenas... and every day, she was in a different place, with different people. Today is the first day of her life that she wasn't swapped, you know, so it must feels weird for her." Oak paused again. Oak: "Well, that's all. 6 pokemons, 6 different stories... and unfortunately, you can only take one along. Each one deserves to be with someone that would actually care for them and treat them as something more than just a tool... but still, base your decision on which one would be the most fitting partner both as a friend and as an ally in battle. If you just pick your partner based on personality, you may end up with a partner that can't help you in battles and if you choose only based on powers, you may end up with a partner that will despise you. So... choose wisely. I'm sure you'll choose the right one, however. I always had a feeling to tell when people are special... and I know you're special. You will know... no, you already know which one is right for you..." ... During this time... ... Celebi: "What a naive fool... I would like to have as much hope as you do... but this is a world without hope. We are all chained to preset futures that we cannot change... but if you're foolish enough to think that you're different, then tempt your fate..." Celebi made a strange gesture and a secret door opened in the back of the room. Celebi: "This is a secret exit leading out of this castle. I will warn you however... the Trail of Souls is a dangerous twisted road created from the Dark Pokemons' powers! I shall not be taken responsible for whatever happens in there!... and if you fail to cross and end up a Dark Pokemon, then know that you have been warned!" ... The Umbreon returned the stare! Umbreon: "Who do you think you are, staring at me like that? Fool! Feel the power of Darkness!" SHADOW BALL! The Umbreon thrown the sphere of black energy toward Sarah! The attack was very precise, the sphere was flying quite fast, and the damage inflicted would be average. All in all, a pretty decent attack... ... During this time... ... The owner is impressed by all of Serra's acrobatic moves... and notice too late that it's an attack coming his way! The owner is shocked and gets paralysed! He drops the pokeball... which trigger itself upon being dropped, firing the Tractor Beam! Siryx: "LOOK OUT!" What a strange twist of fate! The beam was aimed directly at Serra!... and since the beam is extremely fast and was fired from a close distance, dodging it would be very, VERY hard... like, next to impossible or almost. ... During this time... ... As Dracoon made it to the next purifier, there were a few robotic mice cleaning up the area. The mice stopped what they were doing and stared at Dracoon for some reason... OoC: As far as Pokemon go  ... They're all about the same in strength out of them, Charizard would actually stomp Meganium in a straight battle, due to type  ...Nino: "I can only choose one..." Nino would rather have taken them all and set them free, but... she couldn't... The chikorita would've been the obvious choice, but... Something didn't seem right. The bulbasaur would be after that, but then again, she needed a strong feeling. She had narrowed it down to the charmander. Nino: "I'll have to take the Charmander..." Drake: "Hopefully, we'll meet again, but not for you to take my life, but for you to become friends with me?" Drake took the secret exit. Sarah tried to summon her powers to darkness to force the shadow ball straight back. She didn't want to spend any time here. Sarah: "Maybe you'll learn from a creature of true darkness, but one not consumed by it!" Drake acted, or rather, Dark Wish acted. At a small cost of his life force, time sped up for Serra by a tiny partial little faction of anything important. It was enough though, she was already falling to the side, and would be hit no matter what, if time hadn't sped up so slightly for her. Now, she should be able to dodge. Dracoon looked back at them. Dracoon: "I need all information you have about this place." |

| OFF: Since Serra and the others cannot use Dark Weapon's full powers, customised pokedexes can be used to replace some of it's functions. Of course, it cannot be used in combat as a weapon... but just like Dark Weapon, it will show how much health each character has, how much damage is inflicted, how much health foes have left, and will record learned techs so that you may use them again in future battles. It may even gain upgrades that allow it to do stuff Dark Weapon can't and as such, your characters should keep them even after clearing the Pokemon Planet chapter. ____________________________________________________________________ Oak took the pokeball containing the Charmander and then used the tool on the pokeball. There was a strange sound and a small part of the pokeball fell down and shattered on the floor, scattering the liquid toxins on the floor. Oak: "Here... just as you requested, I removed the mind-control toxins in the pokeball. Now... give this Charmander a fitting name and take good care of it. As it will grow, so will you... and eventually, I have a feeling that just like the Ex-Champion, you will get to play a role in the future of this world..." Oak walked toward another machine... and then took out some kind of small machine and presented it to Nino. Oak: "This is a Pokedex, a mechanical encyclopedia. By default, it only serves to record data on owner pokemon... but with the appropriate upgrades, it will grow into a powerful micro-computer useful in various situations. Just watch..." Oak opened the pokedex and then registered Nino and the Charmander to it. Then, he shown the pokedex's screen to Nino... Oak: "I installed a basic medical program on it. It doesn't do much... but it will tell you permanently exactely how much Life Force you and your pokemon have left. It will also tell you how much damage has been inflicted to foes and once a type of foe has been defeated at least once, it will show the foe's Life Force as well. Now... take it with you." ... During this time... ... Drake found himself in some kind of tunnel... a tunnel made of pure energy. He was inside of some kind of rift between the real world and the twisted dark world in which the Dark Castle existed. The exit was just in front of Drake... it really seemed too easy to be true... ... During this time... ... However, Sarah's efforts were in vain and not even a single dark flame came out of her... it was as if her dark powers had left her... As such, there was no way for Sarah to avoid taking damage. The shadow ball wouldn't kill her or inflict a fatal wound... but it would still hurt a lot! Umbreon: "A creature of true darkness? There is no darkness in you, only a disgusting light! You know nothing of true darkness!" The Umbreon's dark aura grew as he prepared to tackle Sarah... ... During this time... ... Siryx couldn't believe it... Siryx: "What the... Dark... Power? How? For a fraction of second... I saw a dark blade's powers flowing trought you and yet... you cannot use Dark Weapon in this state! I hope that this isn't a bad thing... this is neither the place or the moment to fight beings of darkness... especially that our powers are sealed and that we're stuck in pokemon form right now." ... During this time... ... The mouse stared at Dracoon... Mouse: "Information travels quickly among us... while the Network was shattered by the strangers, we, the janitor mice, still act as a physical network, transmitting infos. I was told that the only thing you truly need to know is the direction of your next destination. If I were you... I'd follow the trail of Purifiers to the north-east. The Purifiers are few and far between... but with your Dark Armor upgrade, you should be fine. This path is dangerous in the way that the distance between Purifers is great... but Nightmare Demons doesn't go there often and if they do, they're in small numbers and as such, should be easy to evade. I bet you already know this but... if you meet with Nightmare Demons, DO NOT FIGHT, JUST RUN. Analysis of your weapon systems show that your current weapons are nothing but an annoyance to them. Until you have gained what the strangers call a "Blaster Handgun" and "Element Modules", you will be unable to fight them. Don't worry however! The infos we got says that a "Blaster" and an "Element Module" are located at your next destination which is, by the way, an old ruined robot factory. Anyway... I must get back to the job. I hope I helped you!" The janitor mouse resumed what it was doing, trying to clean the floor... |

| Nino did a small bow to Prof. Oak and turned to leave. Nino: "Thanks for all the help..." Nino walked out, hoping the crowd would be gone, she really didn't feel like having to charge her way through them again. Drake reached, with bold determination. He wanted to get out of here, and he'd go through anything to do it. Sarah was slammed against the wall, but she got up quickly. Sarah: "I know what happened..." Sarah wished she had a sword, or was closer to a human now. She didn't like her new form at all. She did know she could do something though. Sarah: "Ok, if I can't beat you with darkness..." Sarah shot a thunder bolt at the umbreon, hoping that lightning would be able to deal some damage. Serra: "I felt it too..." Serra unlocked the cage and opened it. Serra: "It felt familier, but I can't remember it..." Serra hugged Siryx, happy that they were together. Dracoon: "Thanks." Dracoon left and dashed north east, trying to get to the next purifier as fast as possible. |

| Unfortunately for Nino, the crowd was gone... why did I wrotte "unfortunately"? Becease there are 6 pokemon trainers waiting for her! One of them stepped foward. Trainer: "I see you obtained your first pokemon, like me. According to the Pokemon Trainer code of honor, you can NEVER refuse a challenge! Now, let us do a pokemon battle!" The pokemon trainer took a pokeball while the 5 others placed themselves on the side, waiting for Nino to accept the challenge and send Charmander to fight the trainer's pokemon. ... During this time... ... As Drake advanced toward the exit, the exit... ran away?!? Indeed, the more he advance toward it, the farther it gets! Then... a strange voice... ???: "Hey! Hey! Hey! What's the rush? Why do you want to get out so quickly, fellow Dark Pokemon? Let's take the time to talk a bit, shall we?" ... The Umbreon was shocked!... but obviously, he wasn't quite as lame as he seemed to be and took the attack quite well! Umbreon: "Yes! Keep it on! Unleash your destructive power! Destroy, destroy, destroy!" The Umbreon turned totally purple as it dashed toward Sarah, trying to tackle her! This was the Shadow Rush, an extremely powerful darkness-elemental tackle tech.... but the problem with this tech was that it drained the user's Life Force. By using this tech, the Umbreon had weakened himself quite a bit... but if it lands, Sarah will suffer MASSIVE damage... especially considering the endurance of her current form! ... During this time... ... Siryx blushed as they hugged. No matter how long he had been married to her, his feelings hadn't wittered one bit... even those vile forms didn't stopped his heart from remaining the same... but suddenly, yet one more event came to stop his joy (and Serra's as well). Siryx: "Err... I guess that this rescue attempt is a fKitten Yiffer..." Siryx pointed behind Serra. When she'll turn around, she find out that the owner's wife and several other pokemon trainers entered the room... and there's too many targets in order to use electric attacks and since they're surrounded, she can't run either. ... During this time... ... (OFF: What about skipping Dracoon's journey? The journey will be pretty uneventful AND long. Writting it would basically consist of us posting the same sentances 15 times or so until Dracoon reaches the destination.) |

| Nino: "Thats not fair, I'm not going to accept!" Nino glared at them all. Nino: "I only have one pokemon and it's not ready to battle yet, and if I can help it, never!" Drake: "I can walk and talk at the same time." Drake walked forward, waiting for the voice to say something. Sarah jumped completely out of the way as fast as she could while sending anotherr thunder bolt at the umbreon. Sarah: "You have to be faster than that." Serra: "Oh... I guess this wasn't thought out well was it..." Something very familier passed through Serra, it felt like she'd known this feeling before, and had grown used to it, but it was weird. It was a dark power, but the power was... unlimited and controlled at the same time, if the power ever broke out, it'd be horrible. Everyone else should be feeling the same power too, the power would slowly be cutting off the brain waves and they'd fall down in a coma like state, to be woken up after a few hours. Sounds good to me. |

| The people stared at Nino, completely horrified. The way they stared at her... it was as if she had said a terrible blasphemy. Trainer: "What kind of abomination did you said?!? A true Pokemon Master NEVER refuse a challenge! It's Rule #2 of the Pokemon League, just below the obligation of Pokemon Trainers to catch ALL the pokemons they meet! Not obeying this rule is... well... it's un unspeakable crime!" Everyone, not only the 6 pokemon trainers but all the bystanders around, turned to face Nino and stared at her in a VERY threatening way... ... During this time... ... ???: "Hey! You seem pretty eager to test your Dark powers, isn't it? Killing things is such enjoyable... but of course, living Dark Pokemons never listen to us, the Ghost Pokemons! Nobody ever listen to us, anyway. As Celebi already claimed us, we are unbound to Fate and as such, were able to use the Forbidden power, Technology, in order to learn many things... we also wielded the powers of Darkness way before those Dark Pokemons appeared!... and you know, Evil is pleasant... but you can use Darkness for Good too!... but of course, you're probably beyond reasoning. Fate has most probably promised you a life of slaughtering and torturing innocents..." ... Umbreon smashes into... well... nothing at all... but still lose a good part of his health. However, since he was moving, the thunderbolt didn't struck him. Umbreon: "Faster than that? Hehehe... I can be faster than this..." ... During this time... ... All the people fell down, asleep... but one of them triggered Serra's pokeball's Tractor Beam when he fell. Unfortunately, not even the mysterious dark power would save Serra this time and she was trapped inside. Becease of the drug injections, Serra spaced out during the hours that it took for the trainers to awaken... and then, they simply released her and putted her back into the area where female pikachus were kept. Owner: "I still fail to understand how this animal could use my key to unlock this male raichu... anyway, it's already late now... which surprises me. It is as if hours had passed between the time I returned the pikachu in her pokeball and the time I actually went out to return her to her designated area..." ... During this time... ... (OFF: Will writte Dracoon's part in the next reply. It's awfully late and I'm really tired now. Most probably my last reply for now.) |

| OOC I'm back, hopefully for good! Nino was kind of surprised about the reaction everyone had about that, but she decided, maybe this time it was best to play along. Nino: "Fine, I'll take one of you on, but don't try and make it so I have to fight all 6 of you." Drake: "Using evil for good and good for evil. Why both with either? I'd much rather just use good for good and avoid all of this, or maybe even figure out that good and evil are both neutral and therefore it doesn't matter which is which. Anyways, I'd rather stay away from mindless killing and find my way out of here." Sarah: "It doesn't matter how fast you can move... as long as I can do this..." Sarah began to store electricity, she wanted to shock Umbreon with a mighty Thunder attack. Although, she wasn't sure she could even do it. |

| OFF: Well, welcome back Dracoon! Hope you'll enjoy yourself! Anyway, time to continue this story! ____________________________________________________________________ The beginner trainer smiled. Trainer: "Alright!" He took out as pokeball. Trainer: "Cyndaquil! I choose you!" The trainer thrown the pokeball, revealing a small male cyndaquil. The trainer waited for Nino to send her own pokemon... ... During this time... ... The ghost stared at Drake, smiling. Ghost: "Well well well! Looks like somehow finally understood that Darkness isn't all evil. Glad someone else other than me is not totally insane! Anyway... if you promise me that you shall be my friend, I'll disable the Endless Loop Curse within this corridor and help you escape, OK?" ... Unfortunately for Sarah, her current form wasn't able to use Thunder. The strongest alternative she could use was Thunderbolt... and since her current form was one of a Pichu, she would shock herself in the process as well becease of how sudden and chaotic the energy blast would be! Quite the opposite of the perfectly controlled and graceful energy blasts her former, true form could unleash... ... During this time... ... (Serra's next part coming next post since it will officially be the night) ... During this time... ... Dracoon finally made it, after a long journey, to a huge, ruined factory... but altought it was ruined, it was still working, filling the already over-polluted air with more toxins. The trail of Purifiers lead inside and Dracoon's radar functions detect powerful energy signatures within the old building... |

| Nino: "Ok..." Nino threw the pokeball, releasing Charmander. She wasn't very sure of what would happen, but she'd have to hope for the best. Nino: "Ok, Charmander, get ready!" Drake: "If you aren't going to betray me in the end, its always nice to have more company on a place you've never been to." Sarah could feel the pain about to come, but decided she'd have to anyways. She jumped towards Umbreon, hoping to get a point blank thunder bolt in. She couldn't afford to miss if it'd hurt her too. Dracoon: "Comp, is there anything I need to watch out for?" COMP: "I'm... not entirely sure." Dracoon: "Is there any way to scan ahead?" COMP: "No..." Dracoon prepared his buster cannon as he ran along the line of purifiers into the factory, he'd have to be careful for sure. |

| Charmander turned to Nino with a sad look... Trainer: "Ha! Look at that! What a crybaby it looks! Cyndaquil! Tackle this wimp!" The Cyndaquil dashed foward, trying to collide into Charmander! The pokedex Oak gave to Nino activated all by itself... and displayed some stats. =PARTY Charmander: (0) (IIIIIIIIII) =ENEMY Cyndaquil: (0) (IIIIIIIIII) ... During this time... ... The ghost smiled and then revealed itself to be a Gastly. Gastly: "Alright kid!" The Gastly turned into a purple motorcycle! Gastly: "Hang on and I'll lead out of this grim place in no time!" ... Umbreon did not espected the attack and was shocked! Since a Thunderbolt attack was far from being weak (the Thunderbolt pokemon attack is about the strenght of a Final Fantasy Thunder 2.5), the Umbreon was instantly defeated. The Umbreon stood there, completely fried... Umbreon: "I... don't understand... how I could be humiliated like this... but you will not have the satisfaction of killing me!" The Umbreon stood up. It had obviously difficulties standing up... Then, it ran away from Sarah and... ?!! It jumped in the abyss surrounding the dark altar and then, the sound of flesh being empaled on spikes could be heard... A voice could be heard, coming from the dark altar... ???: "Impressive... so you're the one to who this fine Dark Side belongs, isn't it? I wonder why they chased it out of you, really. Probably becease your Dark Side is... too nice. The Darkness inside of you was corrupted. It was filled with kindness and came from your own heart unstead of coming from an external source. Don't worry! We shall fix that in no time! You'll be able to enjoy being a mindless and souless killer, like the others as you will become the puppet of the forces of Darkness! Now... stand on the altar..." Looks like the only way is toward the altar... but for some reason, Sarah had the feeling that the hidden exit was close by, now that the Umbreon's dark aura disappeared... ... During this time... ... Upon entering, Dracoon found himself inside of the main hall. Foward is the hall to the production areas... but the door is locked and it's made of a material that Dracoon's current weapons can't break. The left door is locked too... but Dracoon can probably break it open. It leads to the offices. The right door lead to the storage areas and the door's unlocked. As for the main entrance hall itself, there was nothing of interest maybe exept an abnormally large Purifier in the middle and a total lack of robotic mice... This must explain why the walls, doors, everything is rusted beyond recognition and that there's so much dust that if Dracoon was biological, he would start sneezing. |

| Nino: "All right! Charmander, side step and scratch him!" Nino hoped that Charmander would obey, if so, this might be an incredibly easy win. Drake: "Awesome, with your help, we might be able to actually show all the ignorant pokemon, that no one is chained to fate!" Drake hopped on, fully trusting Ghastly, really... what kind of ghost would lie? Sarah was tired and she could feel a little pain from using the energy. She was still in control, thats all she had to do was stay in control. She moved away from the alter and started to search for another way out, constantly reminding herself that SHE was in control, nothing else had control of her life. Dracoon turned towards the left door, COMP running a scan and breaking the door with the right level of power. He entered and drew his beam sword, trying to be ready in case he had to fight. |

| The Cyndaquil tackled only air and then, Charmander slashed the pokemon's face with it's claws! Three nice marks appeared on Cyndaquil's face and then, he began to cry, upsetting Charmander! Trainer: "You big-time wimp! Don't stand there! MOVE!" The Cyndaquil jumped away from Charmander. Trainer: "Now, use Ember!" The Cyndaquil turned to it's trainer puzzled. Looks like it doesn't know how to do that yet... Trainer: "IDIOT! DO IT!" The Cyndaquil began to cry again as it's trainer yelled at him. Charmander was definitely upset now. =PARTY Charmander: (0) (IIIIIIIIII) =ENEMY Cyndaquil: (0) (IIIIIIIIII) ... During this time... ... Ghastly: "Well... err... whatever you say..." Ghastly *thinks* So he actually wants to challenge Fate? He'll definitely needs all the help he can get since he IS chained to Fate!... but I'm sure that Death isn't the only one who can bypass fate... wait a minute... GOT IT! I believe I know how I can help this guy break Fate! Ghastly, as a motorcycle, accelerated and soon, the two entered a weird tunnel of light and teleported outside, back at the Silver Valley! For some strange reason, it was already the night by the time Drake got out of the castle... The Silver Valley was completely devastated... once a paradise, it now looked like a wasteland with souless dark pokemons infesting the place. There were so many of them, it was unbelievable! Ghastly accelerated so that the dark pokemons wouldn't start to run after them and soon, the two reached the Silver Mountain pass... Ghastly stopped in front of the massive door... Ghastly: "OK! You're on your own from here. Be sure to avoid all enemies on your way out!... and try not to slip and fall for the ground slippery ahead!.. and it's a long way down! Still, I'll remain with you, invinsible, watching over you. I'll watch your progress and show myself whenever you need me. Now... good luck!" Without letting Drake get off, Ghastly disappeared, probably causing Drake to fall down! ... After a while, Sarah found a small opening in Time and Space... a small opening leading out of the castle. ???: "Going somewhere? Heh! You're only delaying the inevitable for you are destined to serve the Darkness!" ... During this time... ... Serra regained consciousness. She was back outside... but she was now in a separate pen, to keep her from escaping. It was in the middle of the night. Obviously, she had been knocked out for a long time... probably becease of the drug injections that he pokeball gave her. Unlike most pokemons, she was never exposed to it and as such, the effects must have been much longer than normal... or something like that. Altought this pen was made specifically to keep her from escaping, those wooden fences were obviously anything but effective... since Zapper easily got into the pen, along with another male Pikachu. (Male Pikachu): "So Zapper... why are we here again?" Zapper: "Come on, Sparko! You forgot already?" Sparko: "Yeah. We have to make her understand that you're the dominant male and that, as such, nobody refuse you... or something like that." Zapper: "Exactely." Sparko: "Well... if she doesn't want to, she doesn't to! It's like asking right now will do any good. You asked her when that Raichu guy was gone and she still shown you her cold side!" Zapper: "Heh! But this time it's different, becease I have you, Sparko!" Sparko: "What?" Zapper: "Hold her still." Sparko's eyes widened. Sparko: "You aren't going to..." Zapper: "Heh! I'm the dominant one! I'll lose my reputation if the newest low-ranked female reject me! She should jump in my arms, considering it a honor that I chose her to be my next partner!" Sparko: "But still, I believe she refused you becease she couldn't." Zapper: "She refused me becease that she loves that Raichu guy." Sparko: "What?!? Well, she'll learn! She soon learn... and feel... that there is no such thing as love! Only instincts!" Sparko turned to Serra, his eyes burning with hatred. It was as if he was staring at a monster or something... Sparko: "Actually, I think we should change the plan..." Zapper: "What?" Sparko: "I believe we should punish her according to tradition for when a pokemon claims to be in love." Zapper: "Hey! I want her in a good shape, you know! Having a mob of males kicking and punching her until she faints isn't what I want!" Sparko punched Zapper's face! Sparko: "Infidel! We must obey the Holy Laws!" Sparko ran away! Zapper: "Oh great! What did I done!" Zapper began to shake Serra, trying to wake her if she wasn't already awake. Zapper: "Come on! Hurry up! Wake up! There's trouble!" ... During this time... ... Upon breaking up the door, Dracoon found himself into the main hall of the section. There were no Purifiers in sight anywhere and according to radar functions, it seemed as if there was only two Purifiers in all of the section... and the section was huge! Even with the Dark Suit, there was no guarantee he'd make it... in fact, his chances of survival were slim. Maybe he should start with another section... or if he does goes in this section, he shouldn't go too far so that he may return quickly to the entrance hall. As for potential threats... none detected but stil... the offices are quiet... too quiet. These offices are small and divided into small blocks where ambushes would be like, really easy to pull off... not the safest place to begin with if you ask me! | Nino: "Awww, Charmander, its ok." Nino tried to comfort Charmander the best she could while making sure to watch the battle. Nino: "Charmander, when we finish this, you'll never have to go back into that nasty pokeball ever again!" Nino hoped to get Charmander excited, maybe if it could put on a brave face, the Cyndaquil would be to intimidated. Drake fell onto his back and jumped up quickly. Drake: "Thanks for the ride, and for comming along, but next time... you think you could warn me when you want to dump me off next time?" Drake opened the door and went in, moving slowly and carefully. He was actually paying attention to advice this time. Sarah: "No... I will never serve the darkness! I DON'T WISH THE DARKNESS TO BE ANY PART OF ME!" Sarah took he exit, not sure where she'd wind up at. If Serra was in her real form, the planet would be shaking and breaking apart from her pure anger. The winds would be tearing apart normal people and massive storms would spread over the planet... however, since she wasn't in her real form, only some extra static electricty in the air. Serra: "What the hell is wrong with you!?" Serra sprang up and with a charge of electricty ready to be shot into the first thing that messed with her. Serra: "People wanna mob me, I'll show them what they're in for!" Dracoon: "Start timer, give me 10 extra minutes to make sure I can get back to the purifiers." COMP: "Timer starter." Dracoon walked through the office carefully, trying to go fast, but also trying to be quiet enough so no one would get the drop on him. He was glad he wasn't human, and didn't need light to see. This wouldn't be the best place to fight, if anything attacked him, he'd have to get near a purifier. Dracoon: "Scan ahead for any life signs or movement. I want to know at least 30 seconds before being attacked." |
