| OFF: "Ex" beings were made of a technology that puts pretty much every science fiction world to shame. Read: the DNA code for "Ex" beings is in a much, MUCH more complicated form than the regular helix form humans DNA take. I won't get into the details but basically, an "Ex" being DNA code takes the form of a matrix unstead of the form of a helix. Reasons? | Nino thought for a second, the Serra look-a-like had a horrible since of logic and no curiousity. Nino: "Hey excuse me..." Nino walked in front of Serra and stopped her, wondering if Serra remembered anything before she became and Ex being. Nino: "Do you know who Destin is?" Serra looked at her two kids, wondering what was going on... indeed it was weird. Sarah: "Should we go?" Drake: "Forget that we should make a break for it." Serra: "Lets see where this goes..." Serra followed quickly, Sarah following eagerly and Drake following miserably. He would much rather have been back to normal. Stacice: "..." Dracoon: "We're leaving..." Everyone else was quiet as the ship moved towards the 7th planet, putting them in orbit around it. Star: "Dracoon... only me, you, and Bel should go." Stacice: "Hey, let me come too!" Star: "Don't, me and Dracoon will do best alone... I don't need to worry about him and he doesn't need to worry about me, we can go all out if we need to. Bel can protect himself and fight himself, thats been proven." Dracoon entered buttons, trying to scan the planet. Destin: "Damnit." | The Serra look-a-like stared at Nino in a weird way... Obviously, she didn't remembered who Destin was... Serra: "Never heard of someone named "Destin". Anyway... who are you? If you're not looking for a challenge, then get lost!" Serra turned her back to Nino and then walked away, annoyed... ... During this time... ... Serra and the others reached a small clear field in the middle of the forest. There, dozens of pikachus were waiting for them. The leader, a raichu, was sitting on a stump, above all the others. Judging from the way he was staring at Serra and her children... it was safe to assume that he was angry. Siryx arrived a few seconds after Serra. Leader: "Good! Now that you're all here... we shall discuss of some VERY important matters. Serra, Siryx, Sarah, Drake... you all know why you have been brought here, right?" The leader jumped off his stump and approached Serra... he stared at her in a threatening way. Leader: "Serra! You and your children are the shame of our group! Ever since that strange day, years ago, when a strange vortex was saw above our world, you have always acted in a strange... and innapropriate... way." The leader approached Sarah... Leader: "It is of upmost importance to act according to our instincts... and you've done the opposite. Just look at those two! You've only had a single mate in all of your life and you only gave birth twice. As a female, you're a fKitten Yiffer. This would be excusable if you were a productive member of the group but... unstead of helping our group with our daily tasks, you lose your time "raising" your children. Only humans do that, not us! We must obey our instincts!" The leader turned to Serra again... Leader: "But the worst is probably your feelings. "Loving" your children and mate? Helping strangers becease you feel "mercy". Being "angry" at people who hurt those you "love"? We are pokemons, animals! Do animals have feelings? No! They obey their instincts!" Siryx got between Serra and the leader! Siryx: "I've heard enough! Leave her alone!" Leader: "Why should you care? It's only one female and only two children! Even if we banish her, we still have plenty of females and we don't have any shortage of children either." Siryx: "You're speaking of her as if she was an object!" Leader: "She's truly one. We all are. We are pokemons, we are mere animals... and we must obey our instincts!" Siryx: "I can't believe I'm hearing this! Listen to me, everyone! We can all think, we can all feel! Why can't we assume it and live like we should?!?" Leader: "This is the life we were destined for. The humans are the Chosen. We, inferior species, must not create a civilization. Only the Chosen are allowed to. It is the will of this world's creators." Siryx turned to Serra. Siryx: "I've heard enough! My dear Serra... Sarah... Drake! Let's leave those idiots alone and let us continue with our journey!" Leader: "Your journey? What journey? Even if you had a mission... you are mere pokemons. What can you do?" Siryx: "As if we had anything to prove to people like you!" Leader: "Pah! Go on if you want. Just remember that starting now, you are outlaws! As such, all pokemons shall consider as if you were trained pokemons... read: you will be attacked on sight... and if we can, we shall kill you!" Siryx: "I guess this means we'll have to run for it, Serra!" Leader: "Run! Run!... but you can't hide! There's nowhere to run! You have ten seconds, outlaws! 10... 9... 8..." Siryx: "Ouch! That's cold! Let's go already!" Siryx invited Serra and the others to run away before the leader and his insane gang of wild pokemons jump on them and rip them apart! ... During this time... ... As the spaceship made it above the 7th planet and scanned the surface, they found nothing. The Guardians didn't created a base there yet... and they wouldn't need to anyway. The Guardians' spaceship was actually a Crystal Star, a gigantic artificial planet equipped with enough weaponry to nuke entire planets. Those ships are know for their extraordinary shielding and hull strenght: the only real way to destroy them easily is to go deep within the artificial planet and activate the destroy the power core. Computer: "Enemy spaceship has not detected this ship yet. According to preminilary scans, the ship won't take even a single shot of the enemy's main cannon; a ground assault is the only recommended way of attack. Flaws in defensive system detected at area 16-X-201 of enemy ship: the dock there has no defenses and the shielding there is down. | Nino steps in front of Serra. Nino: "What do you mean challenge, can you at least tell me whats going on here?" They took the option of running, really really fast running. The got away quickly, escaping into an open field. Sarah: "Think they'll chase?" Serra: "Maybe... we better be careful..." Drake: "HAS EVERYONE GONE INSANE!?!?!?" Serra looked at him as if he was the one that had gone insane. Serra: "What do you mean? Of course everyone has gone insane this isn't earth  "Drake: "No, we could've taken them on, just because you aren't an Ex being anymore doesn't mean you don't have the same skills as the old Serra." Serra: "A lot of my skills came from a very highly trained body." Drake: "Yeah right, a lot of your skills come from experience too." Serra smiled a little and waited for Siryx. Stacice: "Ok, I'm going to teleport you to right outside Dracoon, blow open the doors and we'll teleport Star and Bel in." Dracoon disappears suddenly and blasts through the space ship with his buster cannon Star: "Ok, be careful and don't let anyone detect you." Star disappears and lands inside the docking bay with Dracoon standing near him. |

| OFF: Posted when I was incredibly tired. May contain mistakes... ____________________________________________________________________ The human Serra stared at Nino in disbelief. Serra: "Where were you when they announced it?!? After long years of waiting and waiting and waiting... a new competition has finally begun and there's no way I'm NOT going to be in it! Since you didn't heard about it, you must not be a trainer and as such, I have nothing to say to you. Get out of the way or else, loser!" Serra shoved Nino out of the way and hurried up for some reason... ... During this time... ... Siryx finally made it... he seemed a "bit" tired from running like that... Siryx: "Man... this body isn't... quite as endurant... as my... real one..." Siryx sat down to catch his breath... Siryx: "Well... at least we're safe for now..." Suddenly, there was a strange sound. Pokemons nearby of all the species ran away as fast as possible, as if something had terrorised them... Siryx: "Hmm... it's usually bad news when all the beings around run away..." Suddenly, someone behind Siryx screamed like an idiot. The atrocious sound pierced his ears and annoyed him instantly... and for some reason, it awoke an instinctive fear within him... ???: "POKEMON!!!" Siryx turned toward the source of that horrible scream. It was some kind of guy who seemed to think, according to the way he stood and acted, that he was the coolest guy ever when, in fact, he looked like a total dork. Siryx: "Man! We escape a gang of loons only to meet an insane dork! Talking about lucky!" ???: "Huh? Talking pokemons! Must be rare! I MUST add them to my collection!" Siryx: "Looks like the kind of person that doesn't react to reason..." Siryx stood up and took off his pendant, which he had been hiding under his fur for all this time. The pendant transformed and took the form of Soul Eraser, his Dark Weapon! Siryx: "Well! Here goe... AAAACK!" CLANG! Soul Eraser was definitely too heavy for Siryx's little paws and as such, he dropped it. Siryx grabbed it and tried to lift it up again... and after many failed attempts, he succeeded! Siryx: "I have a bad feeling about this..." ... Dark Weapon: "S... h... e... m... ?... Ser... ca... ar... e? Te... ne... wo... one... o... OK, it's no... rking..." Serra heard Dark Weapon's voice! It was trying to restablish the neuronal connection! Dark Weapon: "One two one two? Test test! OK! Now it's working! Anyway... let's see... WHOA! That is NOT good! What kind of body is that?!? Anyway... no time to whine! I got a job here!" Dark Weapon forced Serra to focus on the dork's belt. There were strange balls on it... Dark Weapon: "Survival first, explanations later. Let's take care of our enemy before I can tell you why the bleeding h**l you have been transformed into an useless, fat mouse. Now... learn to fear this word: pokeball. The people of Dimension 8 invented the Matter Compression modules that the Hunters are using for their backpacks... and guess how the people of Dimension 8 use them? They use them to stuff innocent girls like you into a ball and then inject 2671 types of chemicals in your body so that you may hallucinate while they carry you around and so that you may be weakened mentally when freed, thus obeying orders more easily. Believe me: those things are total C**P! Whatever you do, don't let those guys hit you with one!" Dark Weapon focused Serra's vision on Siryx... Dark Weapon: "Now... hear this! Until now, you were a hybrid being and had no real element... but now, you're a fat, stupid Pikachu and as such, earth and rock-based attacks will totally wreck your Life Force. I mean it, your Life Force will drop like a waterfall. Also, your husband and your children suffer from the sameg problem too. As such, let's hope that this guy is dumb enough to..." ???: "GO, SANDSLASH!" Dark Weapon: "Well, drats. Not only is our connection slow enough to allow this guy to act while I'm speaking to you mentally, but this guy isn't dumb! A Sandslash is basically a hedgehog made of rock with nice, sharp claws. If you were your old self, you would totally p0wn3d it in seconds but since you're a fatty mouse now, this will prove to be a very, very hard fight... and no, there's nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. Sandslash have the unique ability to bury underground and pursue you from below, where you can't see them while they, on another hand, can still see you. In short, forget about running away. The somewhat limited electrical powers that this body gives you won't do anything to that guy either. You would be better wacking him with me in fact.... and if I were you, I would try to strike the trainer if possible! If you can KO the trainer, then you won't have to fight his other 5 pokemons... which would be a good thing considering that you must be tired after running away from a gang of rabid Pikachu zombies." Dark Weapon paused. Dark Weapon: "By the way... trained pokemons are dumb. They never do anything unless they're told to do so. Also... you can no longer use any Dark Overdrives or Unison Techs. In short, think: no "Ex" powers but uber-dumb enemies. This will be hard... but if you aim at the trainer unstead of the pokemons, it should go by fairly fast... in the way that you'll win, of course. I have no intention of letting you live the same nightmare that my last wielder lived!" =PARTY =Serra Life Force (0) (IIIIIIIIII) Concentration =ABILITY LOCKED= Resonance =ABILITY LOCKED= Limit (0) (----------) =Siryx Life Force (IIIIIIIIII) =Sarah Life Force (IIIIIIIIII) =Drake Life Force (IIIIIIIIII) =ENEMY Dork (IIIIIIIIII) Sandslash (IIIIIIIIII) ??? He held one of his swords out and was ready to lash out with it if anything happened, but he watched as Serra shot a lightning bolt quickly at the person, wondering what was really going on, on this... strange planet. Nino: "Hey! Come on, help me out a little!" Nino chased after her the best she could. Star: "Ok Dracoon. Lets get started." Star and Dracoon rushed into the ship, taking the first corridor they saw, each one ready to destroy anything in their way. |

| Dork: "Huh?!?" ZAAAAAP!!! The Dork never espected to be attacked and as such, couldn't do anything and was shocked by Serra's attack (not that he could have done much about it anyway...)! Dork: "Err... what the... pokemons aren't supposed to attack trainers! They're supposed to attack the pokemons we send to fight them! They must be REALLY special to attack the trainers! This means that I'm more motivated than ever to catch them!" Dork pointed Serra! Dork: "SANDSLASH! SLASH!" The Sandslash dashed toward Serra and then jumped toward her! When he made it in close, he attempted to slice her into pieces with it's claws!... and since she was no longer an "Ex" being, dodging the attack would be very hard. Thankfully, Siryx did not just stood there while Sandslash attacked. Siryx: "I don't think so!" Siryx knew he wouldn't be able to dash toward Sandslash since Soul Eater was so heavy but... maybe he could throw it? As such, he thrown Soul Eater with all of his strenght!... and the blade struck Sandslash just as he was beginning his jump! As such, the angle of his jump was changed and he jumped to Serra's right. Dork: "WHAT?!? But... pokemons aren't supposed to work in team! Animals can't work in teams!" =PARTY =Serra Life Force (0) (IIIIIIIIII) Concentration =ABILITY LOCKED= Resonance =ABILITY LOCKED= Limit (0) (----------) =Siryx Life Force (IIIIIIIIII) =Sarah Life Force (IIIIIIIIII) =Drake Life Force (IIIIIIIIII) =ENEMY Dork (IIIIIIIIII) Sandslash (IIIIIIIIII) ??? (IIIIIIIIII) ??? (IIIIIIIIII) ??? (IIIIIIIIII) ??? (IIIIIIIIII) ??? (IIIIIIIIII) ... During this time... ... The human Serra stopped in her tracks and turned to Nino. She was obviously VERY annoyed! Serra: "Why do you keep on following me? I have nothing to say to losers! GET LOST!" ... During this time... ... As Dracoon, Star, and Bel entered the corridor, it became obvious that the place wasn't seemingly abandonned... it was REALLY abandonned. The reason why it was so clean even if it was abandonned was becease of the small worker robots that still travelled trought the abandonned complex, keeping the place up and running altought no one ever used it anymore... | Nino: "Awww, come on, help me out here! At least explain to me whats going on and... I'll..." Turns around for a second and messes with the ground, bringing out a gold bar. Nino: "Give you this!" Nino felt some power in her, it certainly wasn't enough to be helpful in any battle, but it'd be nice to help her out. Serra: "Ok, get him!" Serra, Sarah, and Drake all shot lightning at the trainer, trying to get him fast and from all sides. They each wanted to get out of this, it didn't make sense. If they wanted to get anywhere, it was obvious, they'd need some help. Dracoon and Star kept rushing through the battle planet thing at a very fast speed, they knew where to go, right towards the center. Each one rushed very aware of what was going on, hoping not to trip over something important. |

| The human Serra stared at Nino... Serra: "OK then, if you insist so much..." Serra took the gold bar out of Nino's hands. Serra: "I'm filling my part of the contract. The Tournament has begun. Finally, it is my opportunity to prove that I'm better than everyone else! All those that stand before me shall face the consequences of their acts!... and that includes you! Now... GET LOST!" Serra turned around and walked away... again. ... During this time... ... The dork seen Serra, Sarah, and Drake preparing to strike... Dork: "Not this time! Sandslash! Get in way of their attack!" Sandslash thrown himself in the way of Serra & cie's attacks. The thunderbolts struck Sandslash... and had no effect. Dork: "Good! Now..." The dork got another pokeball... Dork: "1 against 4 isn't fair! I'll fix that... GO! GRAVELER!" The dork thrown the pokeball and out of it came... a living rock monster?!? With 4 arms?!? Dork: "Graveler! Rock Tomb!" The rock monster glowed in a strange light for a while... and then, rock columns appeared around the party, trapping everyone! Dark Weapon: "Great! An unnavoidable move... there's nothing to do now but to take the attack! Brace yourself for the impact!" Then, it came. Tons of large boulders fell on Serra and the others, burrying them alive. Then, once they were burried under a good pile of boulders, the boulders disappeared. Slowly, Siryx got up... Siryx: "I... I feel as if all the bones in my body had been crushed..." Dork: "Great! Keep it up! Prepare for another Rock Tomb! Sandslash, protect Graveler!" Siryx: "WHAT?!? Serra! Do something! You still have Dark Weapon, right? Then do something, FAST!" =PARTY =Serra Life Force (0) (IIIIIIIIII) Concentration =ABILITY LOCKED= Resonance =ABILITY LOCKED= Limit (0) (IIIIIIIIII) =Siryx Life Force (IIIIIIIIII) =Sarah Life Force (IIIIIIIIII) =Drake Life Force (IIIIIIIIII) =ENEMY Dork (IIIIIIIIII) Sandslash (IIIIIIIIII) Graveler (IIIIIIIIII) ??? | Nino: "You're worthless!" Nino stomped past Serra and went to someone who looked a little more helpful. Nino: "Can you please explain everything to me? Imagine I was a moron or something." Serra: "I can't use it, this looks hopeless!" Serra jumped away, wondering what was going on, this was indeed going to be a lot harder than she imagined. Then she saw something that looked very familier, a green glow. In a few seconds the wind had picked up and visiable blades in it were heading at the dork and his pokemon. Serra: "What was that?" Serra looked at the ground, it had missed the trainer, but hit the pokemon, scars in the ground was visible, with the words "Go away" written in the scarred ground. | OFF: Well... I don't know if it was obvious or not but well... Serra's fight against the dork was actually a must-lose battle... and well, the reason why it's a must-lose fight will become obvious in this post. There's clearly no way Serra can avoid the incoming barrage of attacks... and even if Destin was to intervene, he cannot stop the first and final attack (the two that actually cause the damage that KO Serra). ____________________________________________________________________ The human Serra suddenly turned to Nino for some reason. Serra: "Huh? What... happened... to... me?" The human Serra fell down to the ground. She began to bleed from seemingly every single part of her body. Various wounds appeared as if by magic on her, as if she had taken part in a battle and lost. ... During this time... ... The dork suddenly noticed that his pokemons had been struck by something... Dork: "Huh? Those pokemons can use wind attacks? Then I will try even harder to catch them! I'll send 2 more pokemons! GO! NIDORINO! GO! CHARIZARD!" The dork thrown two more pokeballs. Out of them came some sort of purple mix between a rhino and a mouse. The second creature was a small red dragon with a flame on it's tail... but whatever a dragon's size, dragons are ALWAYS bad news. Dork: "Let's finish this! Sandlash, EARTHQUAKE! Graveler, ROCK TOMB! Nidorino, EARTHQUAKE! Charizard, FLAME WHEEL!" Siryx: "Errr... Serra? I know it's useless to try and run... but if we can't escape, let's give the children a chance at least..." Siryx thrown himself at Sarah and shoved her with all of his strenght, trying to get her out of the enemy attacks' impact zone. When the large rock columns trapped Siryx and Serra, Sarah had been shoved out of the way... but Drake... When the rain of heavy boulders fell, he was there next to Serra and Siryx. Then, with the columns still trapping them (but with the boulders gone), the two earthquakes attacks came. Unlike the Rock Tomb attack, this one could be avoided by jumping at the right moment... but avoiding it or not would do the same in the end becease of the final enemy attack... May the earthquakes strike or not, the enemy Charizard finished by breathing a huge fireball above Serra... then, the fireball took the form of a large wheel and dropped on the ground. Becease of the rock columns, avoiding the wheel is impossible. It was unknow how much damage the entire combo had done... becease that the power of the combo was more than enough to break the neuronal connection between Serra and Dark Weapon. All that was sure was that it was powerful... more than enough for Serra's current body. As it scorched Serra one last time, she heard Dark Weapon's panicked voice in her head... Dark Weapon: "Serr... Ser... SERRA! Stay awake! Do... not... s..." Dark Weapon's voice was weakening... and the world seemed to spin around Serra... In her head, a robotic voice was saying words... -Life Support at danger level -Various internal bleedings detected -Left lung fKitten Yiffer Then, Serra felt an incredible pain in her chest... a pain like she had never, ever felt before... =LIFE SUPPORT OFFLINE -Unable to repair internal damage -Heart rate at 25% ... -Heart rate at 10% ... -Blood pressure dropping. -Heart rate still dropping. =LIFE READINGS CRITICAL -Attempting to auto-repair heart. -Auto-repair unsuccessful. Everything had already gone dark and it seemed as if Serra had gone blind. The damage dealt to her both at her exterior and interior was massive. Most of her bones and organs were broken... and direct damage had been done to her vital organs... Becease of such serious damage, it was unlikely Serra would be able to think straight... and as such, Dark Weapon unleashed it's power all by itself. Drawing it's power from Serra's memories, it teleported Drake and Sarah away from the dork and his pokemons... far... far away. It had sent it to a place that it was sure existed in this Possibility just in it's own Possibility... a place where they would be able to recover and then prepare for their journey ahead. It looks like history was repeating itself... just like Ex had lived the nightmare, Serra would live it... if she survives her wounds, that is... Dork: "Huh? The two... they vanished... anyway! I still get the adults..." Serra never saw the incoming pokeball. The only thing she was was a white line wavering in front of her for a while... and then finally, becoming flat. Along with the line, she heard a long beep and a final sentance. -Heart fKitten Yiffer. Zero life readings. Her soul was drained of all conscious toughts... ... During this time... ... Computer: "Ship is heading toward 3rd planet. All systems online. This station is Station 13. Guardians believe that the number 13 is bad luck and as such, all docking bays and stations with the number 13 are always abandonned. Such a flaw in the defensive systems of the Guardians' ships should be corrected someday. For now, a security measure has been instored in the fact that all computers in Station 13 including the one you are using are NOT connected to the Master Computer and as such, cannot be used to issue orders or change the ship's general parameters."
