A dark figure was floating behind the body... ???: "You do not want to bring her REAL self in this world, mortal. Her original self was a servant of NeoBowser, the Absolute Evil... and her loyalty to him was impossible to break. She would probably kill you and then torture your soul for thousands of years as a reward for bringing her back." The figure revealed itself... a shadow in a cloak wielding a scythe made of human bones?!? ???: "I believe Serra knows who I am so I will not tell you my name... but know this: be careful what you wish for. The Guardians aren't all rainbows and lollypops. They are actually quite nasty and while they aren't completely pure evil like the UEN were... they're still people you do NOT want to mess with. Take my advice: forget that those serving the Guardians were once people... all that you must know is that they are enemies and must be terminated. The future of your world is dependant on the success of your journey... do not let your hesitation doom you..." The figure disappeared... and so did the body. |

| Destin grabbed the remote that was left behind and triggered the force field to drop. Everyone rushed in and Serra approached the element. Destin walked out, a little downcast after what had just happened. He'd wanted to save everyone, not just to let anyone die. He was sad that such a thing could happen... It seemed even if he had unlocked his full power, it would've been wasted on the creature... He headed back to the ship, Dracoon, Star, and Nino behind him. | |||

| As Serra entered the room containing the Element, everything faded away... the hall was in truth a gate to the Prison Dimension! Serra appeared inside of a temple floating in deep space. The room was entirely made of glass, thus making it a pretty... unique sight to say the least. In the middle of the room was an altar made of bones of various conscious species... and in the middle, on the top-most part of the altar was a pedestal made of an unknow black metal. The metal emitted... familiar... energy. That energy made Serra feel... at home?!? It was as if Serra knew what this metal was... in fact, the entire room felt so... familiar. The pedestal on the top of the altar was... empty. A single gap in the pedestal revealed that something used to be there however... Dark Weapon: "Serra... this is the Memiroa, the chamber of memories, the very origin of the world... It is here that every soul was born. That feeling of nostalgia within you comes from this fact. It was from here that Chaos ruled over the Universe... long... long ago... before time... before space... before existance. Now, nothing remains exept for the Link... the Link to ultimate power!" Dark Weapon paused. Dark Weapon: "I am the Key, Serra... Insert me into the gap within the Pedestal and your soul will merge with the Link. You will be everywhere at once... you will be everybody at once... you will be in both the past, present, and future. Your consciousness and the Universe will become one. Then... the Element will appear within you." Dark Weapon stared deep within Serra's soul... Dark Weapon: "The time has come, Serra. You will enter in contact with everyone's souls at once three times. You will enter in contact with everyone's souls each time you find a new Link. Each Link will allow you to feel a different feeling within the people's souls." Dark Weapon laughed. Dark Weapon: "This is so funny, isn't it? There was never such a thing as a Good or Evil Element. The Elements are in truth, nothing more than a soul that is in contact with the souls of everyone. In short... it is when all of the power of the Universe gather to a single soul, making this soul the incarnation of a single feeling. However... the Link can work on only one soul at a time... which is why the word "Element" was used. While it is not a physical possession... a Good or Evil Element belong to only one soul." Dark Weapon paused again. Dark Weapon: "Anyway... I doubt my explanation made any sense. Just insert me into that gap and hold on tight! You are about to experience something no mortal was ever supposed to experience... and your resolve will also be put to the ultimate test. Let's see if you were sincere when you said you wanted to save the world from the Guardians! Let's see how you will react when you will see the true form of your world!" | As Dark Weapon entered the strange altar, nothing seemed to happen... but then, Serra had a vision... ... She was now a regular 11 years old human girl walking toward school, being totally bored... ... But then, suddenly, she was a firefighter in an advanced world trying to keep a huge fire from consuming a space station. ... She was suddenly a woman who was consumed by a impossible-to-cure disease. ... The visions began to appear faster and faster... more and more feelings could be felt... The visions kept on coming faster... faster... faster... too fast. Her soul couldn't bear it. Too many feelings... too many memories... it was as if something was forcing all of the Universe's history into her! Dark Weapon: "DON'T LET GO! DON'T LET GO! IT'S ALMOST OVER!" For a second, she saw herself, as something else... her fur had turned black and dark flames had appeared around her. The flames were consuming her flesh, inflicting terrible pain on her... and a tremendous amounts of feelings, both positive and negative were constantly being forced into her soul causing her to suffer both physical and mental damage constantly... Then, there was a bright flash of light... ... Serra awakened in the spaceship. All the others were there as well. Siryx: "You're finally awake! I was worried sick. We were worried that something had happened when you entered the room and didn't got out after 15 minutes. So... I went inside and found you..." Siryx paused... Siryx: "Y... y... you were on your knees, staring at some kind of replica of the glass sphere. Your eyes had somehow broke open and 70% of your blood had flowed out and covered the entire floor. It was a really horrifying sight... but what shocked me even more was that Dark Weapon had fed off the blood and had somehow grown a bit closer to it's original form, when you had first obtained it." Siryx turned around... Siryx: "I have some bad news, Serra... If you cannot see anything... well, it's not becease the room is dark but it's becease that... well... you no longer have eyes. You're blind, Serra." Dark Weapon's voice echoed in Serra's head. Dark Weapon: "Actually... I believe Siryx is wrong. Didn't you noticed... or should I say, did not noticed that you had no eyes? That's becease you no longer need them. The Good Element of Courage is now yours... and it's power unlocked some of the Forbidden Data within your "Ex" DNA. As such, your eyes were not destroyed... they were turned into Soul Energy. That's right, Serra! You now see using your soul rather than your body... which also means that illusions no longer have an effect on you! This also means that your vision should be 5000% clearer and your maximum line of sight has been increased by 10000%. Even Superman would be jealous! Hahahaha!... err... sorry, a joke I often used when I was wielded by Hunters..." Dark Weapon paused. Dark Weapon: "Anyway... since it will feel weird if you go around with no eyes in your orbits, I'll make you new eyes. They won't serve any purpose other than give you a more normal look but well... eyes do are an important part of one's looks!" Siryx suddenly stepped back, surprised! Serra's eyes had reappeared out of sudden... Siryx: "OK... Would someone explain to me what happened here?" Dark Weapon: "OK! Done! Now, listen Serra. Do you want me to stop time and take time to explain to you what was the Good Element you obtained and what powers it allow you to use?" | Dark Weapon: "Hey! No need to be so angry now! Let's send you to a better place to pratice first..." Suddenly, Serra was in the middle of a wasteland covered in flames... In front of her was a gigantic humanoid figure made of fire wielding two weapons. It was wielding Dark Weapon with it's right hand and a strange, incredibly thin but long twin-bladed sword with an eye on it's hilt using it's left hand. Figure: "I am Inferno V.3.001. I was created and programmed by the Hunters to train you with the use of the Dark Weapon model ZX-106 MK3 once infused with the Good Element of Courage. First, please assume your battle stance and unsheat your Dark Weapon." Serra didn't have to do anything. Dark Weapon teleported in her right hand! Inferno: "Good. Dark Weapon has activated manual control of this body. He will now use me to teach you how to use the power of the Good Elements. Beginning tutorial... ... OK! One two, one two, test test! Good... Now, look up at the bottom of the thread's owner's post. You will see something similar to this: =PARTY= Life Force (0) (IIIIIIIIII) Concentration (IIIII) Resonance (IIIII) Limit (0) (IIIIIIIIII) Element (1/1) (IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII) Audience (0/50) As you can see, you have two new meters: "Element" and "Audience". Let's begin with "Element". "Element" is the amount of positive feelings people sent you. Each time the meter is filled, you get an extra "Element" point which can be used to use a "Destiny Break" tech. Those techs are MASSIVELY over-powered and the use (or misuse) of those techs can change the course of decisive battles (both in good and bad ways). You cannot gain "Destiny Break" techs by yourself... but you'll get a new "Destiny Break" tech automatically for each new Good Element you get. Anyway... now your first "Destiny Break" is called "Phase Mana Stream Hurricane Shockwave" but becease it's a bit long to say... let's call it the "PMSHS". The PMSHS call a real hurricane of mental energy that disrupt the very material that makes up your opponents' souls, killing most normal enemies outright and robbing enemies of their magical defenses and immunities... exept for instant-death, you cannot remove that immunity. Also... the PMSHS will completely fill your "Concentration" meter and will refill your Life Force to full... but will NOT refill your Shields. Be careful! The PMSHS will empty your "Limit" meter and will drain 1 "Element" point! Anyway... now that this is explained... know this: you cannot refill the "Element" meter normally. Items and magic can't refill it... so how do you do it? Simple! Notice the second new meter, "Audience"? Well... starting from now, each time people will go to sleep, their dreams may in fact be your battle! As such, starting from now, people will always watch your battles! If your battles are exciting, the people will cheer up on you and all that, filling your soul with positive feelings and charging the "Element" meter. Once the meter is full, you get an "Element" point. You got it, so far? OK... now to some good news and bad news. If your battles are interesting, people will cheer on you and if there are psychics or mages among them, they'll throw positive items at you or may even refill your different meters! If you're losing a battle, your fans will come to your aid, boosting your stats, helping you with healing... and may even attack the foes for you! HOWEVER, people are people and it is very possible that evil people may come to your fights... and these people, unlike the others, actually want you to die. As such, they'll often cause all kinds of problems during battles, throwing stuff at the party and helping the enemies unstead. Fortunately, you can use me to wake up audience members. Since they're only there as long as they sleep, they'll leave as soon as they wake up... and since I hurt souls, you can use me to inflict a bit of pain on them thus forcing them to awaken. Since you will likely be busy actually fighting, I will take care of signaling whenever an audience member tries to intervene. Be careful! Once you order me to wake up someone, you can't cancel the order!... and if I wake up someone who was about to help you, then too bad for you! On a final note... you now have a new option for when you level-up. You now have the choice between upgrading your Shields, upgrading your Concentration, upgrading your Limits... and now, you can also increase by 50 the limit for the audience! You see... every single soul that comes to watch your battles consume a bit of your Life Force. As long as the number is under your limit, the energy consumed is so small that your body will regenerate fast enough to compensate... but above the number, it would be unsafe for you. As such, I automatically deny access to the battle arena if you are at your limit. In case you judge that people do not come in sufficient number to see your battles (you need them to keep your Element meter charged!), you can sacrifice your turn to send a call to all souls in the Universe to see your battle! Calling to souls is not only useful to call more souls however! If you judge that your enemies are too weak and that fighting them will bore the hell out of your audience, you can call to the souls to keep them entertained while your friends take out the bad guys!... or it could be them calling to them and you killing the bad guys, it's your choice. Anyway... in a nutshell, you use the "Element" meter to do big techs called "Destiny Break" and your audience fills the "Element" meter when excited but leave or throw things at you when bored. Simple, truly... altought my explanation was long." The fire figure stood back... | Suddenly, the arena was changed to deep space... she was back in her home solar system... Then, some stars stopped shining... then some more did... and one by one, ALL of the stars stopped shining... and for each star that stopped shining, the sun grew larger and became more bright until it became large enough to engulf her homeworld. Then, the sun exploded, sending a hurricane of blue energy toward Serra and Inferno! The intense energy covered Serra and drained all of the hatred within her... as well as of all her conscious toughts unrelated to the fight. Her concentration was filled to the maximum now. As for Inferno, he was sent flying out of the solar system at a terribly high speed. The energy sapped Inferno's Life Force at an alarming rate while slamming him into every single object, may it be a satellite, a spaceship, a planet, a comet, or a meteorite, that got in the way. Once Inferno was sent out of the solar system, the energy gathered and exploded into a supernova, finishing off the attack and sending both Serra and Inferno back at the training area. Dark Weapon: "Well... that was impressive to say the least! Let's see how much damage was done... Inferno?" Inferno: "Damage analysis completed. MAXIMUM DAMAGE POSSIBLE (enemy has 0 defense and is defenseless against Space + Time elements) =Heat from the sun while charging for attack: 5 points =Initial impact with the energy: 5 points =Smacked by each planet: 9 X 2 = 18 points =Smacked into various small objects: 25 X 1 = 25 points =Supernova finale: 15 points =Total damage: 68 MINIMUM DAMAGE POSSIBLE (enemy has 2 defense, is resistant to both Space and Fire element, immune to Time element, perfectly dodged everything he could) =Heat from the sun while charging for attack: 2 points =Initial impact with the energy: 3 points =Smacked by each planet: 1 X 2 = 2 =Smacked by various small objects: 1 X 1 = 1 points =Supernova finale: 7 points =Total damage: 15 My conclusions are: does most damage against enemies that are vulnerable to Time since the most damage comes from the various impacts against the planets and other objects. Damage is lessened significantly if resistant/immune to fire/heat but not as much as if he it was resistant to time. Proceed." Dark Weapon: "Well... your attack has been tested!" ... 4 more souls came. The souls cheered for Serra. | As Bel inserted the disk in the computer, a screen appeared saying that the computer was downloading data from the main Guardian database. The download was awfully slow altought the computer was downloading a lot of data per second. For some reason, it was impossible to stop the download now... |

| Dark Weapon: "You're finished? OK then..." In a flash of light, Serra was back in the spaceship and all of her concentration and stored power was gone. It was as if she had never been into the weird place in the first place... Dark Weapon *using telepathy*: "Well... here you are!" ... The file finished downloaded after a long, LONG while. The file opened itself... And suddenly, the computer's speakers' volume was set at 300% and the screen was flooded with animated pictures of Dreickonis pointing at Dracoon and Bel, laughing! The words "You s**k" were spinning all over the screen in multiple colors while the speakers made the entire ship shake becease of the horribly loud music it was playing. It was a triumphant sounding theme in which a chorus were singing to the glory of Dreickonis and were insulting Serra and all of her friends. Their insults involved calling Serra a "retarded pokemon who should return in her pokeball at once" and Statice "being a professional provider of services in the sense of physical pleasure". After a while, the pictures and insults disappeared and the music faded out. Computer: "System has finished being reprogrammed. Auto-pilot set for the sun. All commands deactivated. Self-destruction sequence initiated and weapon systems set to fire at the hull of the ship. All data overwritten. New data has replaced the Back-up data and will overwritte all changes to come. Have a nice day... suck***s." The ship's alarm was activated. Dark Weapon *using telepathy*: "Man... how ANNOYING! Dracoon! I am in Serra's room. Grab my hilt and I'll upload into your memory the data needed to delete that stupid virus. Then, delete it. Just make sure to do it quickly! That alarm is giving me a headache!" |

He was completely robotic, Dark Weapon would have no way to interact with him, since it feeded off of life force. It would literally starve. Dracoon plugged into the mainframe and worked as fast as possible. Trying to turn the ship off and format it quickly. He knew it wasn't gong to work easily though. Stacice: "I'm. Going. To. Kill. Him." Stacice's fist was clenched for a second and then she noticed the state everything was in. She began to type quickly, trying to save what she could. The virus that had been activated was devastating she knew, but if she worked fast enough she could stop it before they died. She looked over at Dracoon who was plugged into many differ spots. She thought her job would be a lot easier now. Serra: "Dark Weapon... Dracoon can't help, he's a robot..." Serra walked down the hall from her quaters, people who were there seemed quite worried, but she entered the door she knew hat the occupants wouldn't be worried. Star: "Yes... I know. We'll be fine though." Serra: "How are you so confident?" Star: "Magic?" |
