| Destin: "If thats the case, I'll let Breaker work its magic on something else!" Breaker glowed brightly and Destin's hand dropped Dark Weapon. With both his free hands he grabbed Healer and Hero. He plunged Healer into himself and held Hero with both hands, facing North and Lucyder. Destin: "Rising Edge!" Destin jumped towards North and as he got close, suddenly shot down at North, the sword in his hand meaning to deal extra damage to villians and those who threatend heroes. COMP: "Buster Cannon operating at 100% capacity. Omega Shot preperations complete." Dracoon held his left arm out as it transfered into a Buster Cannon again, as soon as it came out it was glowing brightly. Dracoon took a stance that would allow him to balance after shooting, but the power wasn't completely focused yet. Dracoon: "Get ready, no matter how strong you are, you won't survive this." Star looked at the force field and then touched it, feeling the energy in him, he wondered if there was a way to break it. If there was, nothing hey could do helped. Serra: "Whats going on...?" Nino: "Destin rushed in to fight alone." Siryx, Serra, and Drake stood behind the others trying to see what was going on. |

| OFF: Big bosses are REALLY powerful and often, only a single strategy works against them (which is why it is important to gather clues). For exemple... North takes attacks for Lucyder AND automatically counter them with Ultra Counter thus allowing the two enemies to eliminate their foes easily. Also... if other characters apart from Dracoon have scanning devices or spells, they can use them. You do not need to be in battle with a foe to scan it, you simply need visual contact. HYPER SHOT! Suddenly, the aura around Jakes disappeared as he pointed his gatling gun at Dracoon! Jakes: "Dance for me, mortal!" A real hurricane of energy came out of his gatling gun! The attack would inflict serious damage on both Dracoon and Bel. Then, Jakes emptied all of his ammunition on Dracoon (yes, all 7000 rounds he had)!... but becease of the power of the Hyper Shot, each bullet was surrounded with a magical blue aura, making twice as big, twice as fast, and twice as powerful! -Party- Dracoon (0) (IIIIII----) Bel (0) (IIIIIIIIII) -Enemy- Jakes (IIIII----------) ============ DESTIN EVENT ============ North suddenly woke up and held one his hand in front of him. Rising Edge connected with North's hand!... and had strictly no effect. Not only that but suddenly, North teleported... and reappeared right on Destin, exept that he had became a gigantic mechanical blender!... with Destin inside of him! North: "Terminated." ULTRA COUNTER! North drilled Destin's sides, then struck his head repeatedly with a mechanical sledgehammer, and finally made a sharpnel grenade explode right at Destin's feet, sending him flying out of himself and inflicting massive damage! Then, North teleported back at it's original spot and returned to it's original form. Lucyder: "NOW!" UNISON ATTACK! HELLFIRE STORM! Lucyder bathed North in fire and then, Lucyder fired thousands of magically-enhanced missiles that were then sent into the ground! Upin impact, the missiles exploded in a wall of fire, filling the entire room with fire! | OOC Dracoon is the only person capable of having a counter, he is the only machine and all. COMP: "FIRE!" Dracoon: "Omega Shot!" In an almost cataclysmic explosion of energy, a huge beam shot forth from Dracoon's Buster Cannon, enveloping everything in its path. The beam shot towards the still firing Jakes pushing Dracoon back slowly. Dracoon: "Omega power, learned from Lemon Kirby, ultamate power." Destin was surprised by all of the attacks, but was unaffacted? Destin: "Thanks Hero... I needed that..." Hero had protected Destin from the attacks as Healer started to pump life force into him at an amazing rate. Destin didn't know what he should do, so he jumped away, hoping for a good way to defend himself until he could figure this out, meanwhile, Serra began to read the note. |

Whatever you do, North will counter it!" Lucyder laughed at Destin! -Destin- Life Force (IIIIIIII--) -Boss- North (IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII) Lucyder (IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII) ================== SERRA'S PARTY EVENT ================== Note: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ To all Guardian agents whose duty is to maintain the robot North. North is the latest of our Omega robots, a mechanical spider assassination unit prototype built using data obtained from the "Ex" beings. Ultra Counter is a very powerful attack copied from the "Ex" beings' Counter tech and is basically North's only attack. North first falls "asleep"... but in truth, when he is asleep, it is that Ultra Counter is online. Once it's online, North waits for the opponent's attack... and strike. North take out one of it's hand and block the incoming attack. No matter the angle, no matter the attack, it shall be blocked for North has reflexes that are more than 20 times faster than that of an "Ex" being and furthermore, since it's hands are made of Xilitium, the same alloy Dark Weapons are made of, North's hands can never be broken. Once the attack is blocked, North transform into a blender and teleported on the enemy when he's finishing his attack. Then, the actual attack begin. Drills came out of North's sides and drill trought the enemy's chest repeatedly. Then, the drills are replaced with sledgehammers and crush the enemy's head several times. Once this is done, North create a sharpnel explosion at the enemy's feet thus sending it flying out of him and inflicting massive damage. Once this is done, North teleport back at it's spot and prepare for the enemy's next attack. All of this is pretty nice... but remember that North can only defend against a single opponent at a time! If a single enemy attacks, North will block all of it's attacks and combos... but if two enemies attack at the same time, North will be confused and won't be able to use Ultra Counter. As such, a force field was created so that only one enemy at a time may fight North... make sure, agents, that this force field remains in good condition! Last time we tried to conquer, we did not espect the UEN and the Hunters to exploit the Mega robots' weaknesses... and as such, the Omega robots all have helpers in the form of the Prime Evils and the Deus Ex Machina. In North's case, Lucyder is the helper. Lucyder will use it's fire magic and illusion tricks to protect North and make sure only one opponent at a time attack. Furthermore, if it seems like the enemy figured out North's weakness, Lucyder can activate North's secondary mode of attack. In it's secondary mode, each of North's six arms are a different weapon. It has a Plasma Cannon, a Rocket Launcher, a Power Shield, a Turbo Drill, a Saw Launcher, and a Grenade Launcher. North will use the weapons in a way similar to Ultra Counter: If the enemy attack from the front and in the air, North will blast the enemy with the Plasma Canon on the way up and the way down, when the enemy cannot defend itself. If the enemy remains on the ground and spins around North, looking for an opening, North will use it's Grenade Launcher, sending heat-seeking grenades at the enemy. If the enemy stay away and use long-range attacks, North will fly toward the enemy with the Turbo Drill. If the enemy stays just below or above North, where his other weapons can't reach it, it will use the Saw Launcher, attacking everywhere above and below it. Finally, North can block combos and charged attacks with the Power Shield and use the Rocket Launcher to launch heat-seeking missiles when there is an opening or when one of the situations above isn't met. Of course, Lucyder can always mix her powers to North to form super attacks. Now that you know what North can do... here is what to do, agents! First, be sure Lucyder has shut down North's attack system BEFORE entering to do it's maintenance. Also, remember that North's weak point are it's eyes! Be sure not to damage them! The force field can be shut down by Lucyder's remote so be sure it's working properly and that Lucyder has it in permanence! Also... remember agents! North may be cute-looking... but he's NOT a pet! | Serra: "Destin, use Blink, take his remote!" Destin nodded, he knew what to do. He resheathed Hero and took out Laventar and Blink, healer still stuck into him. He threw Blink into the ground besides him, and the sword transformed into a spirit of some sort. It took a phsysical body as a 8 year old kid in shorts and winged shoes. Blink: "First to steal the remote wins!" Destin and Blink took off at the same time, each going at an amazingly fast speed. They knew there target was the remote. OoC: Blink's speed is beyond increidble, at its best, the user will be torn to pieces just by the shear speed. The speed has an exponintial growth when needed, so its speed boost can make the fastest things in the universe, seem slow. Dracoon was already moving, he ran right up to Jakes and slashed hard with the beam sword. Dracoon: "Who said I was mortal?" |

Jakes's gatling gun was "compressed" and then, Jakes placed it back into one of his pockets. Jakes: "This body will maybe crumble... but whatever! Now... suffer, mortal!" DELTA FORCE! Suddenly, Jakes thrown some kind of sphere... and then, it exploded in the form of a gigantic pyramid of elemental energy! First, it shocked Dracoon with electricity, then it froze him with cold, and finally burnt him with intense heat... if the attack connect that is. -Party- Dracoon (0) (IIIIII----) Bel (0) (IIIIIIIIII) -Enemy- Jakes (II-------------) ============ DESTIN EVENT ============ Lucyder laughed as they ran toward her. Lucyder: "Sorry but the remote is safe within my robe. You won't find it." North prepared to counter the next attack... but it seemed rather... confused? Lucyder: "Oh great... it's getting confused. | Dracoon: "Rock Crusher!" Dracoon slammed the ground with his beam sword again, but this time it exploded right in front of him, sending a rock to take the attack of Delta Force. The dust was heavy and the perfect cover as Dracoon went around Delta Force for another sword attack. Dracoon: "To be mortal, you must be living." Destin: "Well then, might as well send in Laventar." Destin held his palm out, Laventar balanced on it perfectly, as it transformed into a human. It turned into a girl wearing a cloak with streaks of fire down it, balanced perfectly on Destin's palm even though she was almost as big as him. She jumped towards Lucyder with Blink's speed, ready to burn through the robe to find the remote. Laventar: "I'll take care of this Blink." Blink sighed but kept moving, now jumping around in insane patterns. Destin: "I wonder if I should just let all of them out at the same time..." Serra groaned, remembering each of the spirits inside of the swords. They used to be a lot different, demonic really. Hero had set them free, but without his presence they never unleashed their full power. Serra didn't know where the swords came from this time, but she suspected Destin would have no trouble with this battle if he fought along side the swords instead of used them. |

As Rock Crusher smashed Jakes, his body fell to the body and his helmet fell off... but... there was nothing under the helmet! Jakes: "You fool! Do you believe that you can truly kill a god? In time, I shall find a stronger body and this time... you shall meet your maker!" Jakes' consciousness escaped. Dracoon had won... for now. ++++++++++++ BOSS CLEAR! ++++++++++++ Jakes's armor fell to dust as his consciousness escaping, leaving nothing Dracoon or Bel could use... or is it? A pendant was on the floor... ============ DESTIN EVENT ============ However, the spirits could not touch Lucyder. Looks like Lucyder is protected by a high-tech shielding system... Lucyder: "Oh... too bad for you! My masters gave me a personnal shielding device and as such, my body is permanently protected by a force field! You must drain my shield's power before being able to strike me!... and you cannot strike me for North will block all incoming attacks, isn't it North?" North: "Too... many... targets..." Lucyder: "FINE! I'll do it myself then!" | Dracoon dashed down the hall way towards the first treasure. Destin: "How about a little lesson in some energy physics." Destin slowly took Light Eater from its sheath, he held it in front of him, the blade was only visible because it was made of the absence of light. Destin: "Light is a type of energy, pure energy really. Light Eater, devours light to make way for darkness, I've found many uses for this power though. The main one being, that it can absorb any kind of energy, not just light." Destin pointed Light Eater at Lucyder, the light between Lucyder and Light Eater suddenly was gone, and slowly the darkness snaked towards Lucyder, trying to consume the shield. Blink kept running around North, trying to keep it distracted. |

After searching the area, a couple of items could be found: -a strange piece of black metal (energy signature similar to Dark Weapon's) -various healing items -An old broken Blaster handgun -money! money! money! ========== BEL EVENT ========== Bel didn't run into anything interesting on his way to the items. The shield wasn't made of the same type of energy as normal shields were made from and as such, couldn't be destroyed using an energy-draining tech. Lucyder: "Nice try but..." Lucyder took out the remote. Lucyder: "Let's see how you can do against this!" Lucyder activated the remote and then thrown it on the floor before smashing it into under her right foot! North: "Activating offensive battle mode... ready." Lucyder: "NOW we're talking!" North revealed it's missile launcher arm and shot 6 homing missiles! Half would follow Destin while the remaining ones would follow Blink! During this time, Lucyder just stood there, laughing. | Dracoon heard Bel, but he decided to go towards the final treasure chest first. Blink: "You can't hit me!" Blink seemed to vanish suddenly as he jolted to the side at an increidble speed. Destin: "Damn, didn't work." Destin switched to Breaker, it was able to take on all all types of shields and weapons, maybe it would work. Destin jumped towards the energy shield and slashed it with Breaker with all his force, hoping to make the thing come crashing down. |

Strangely enough, while the shield was weakened by Breaker, it wasn't broken. It seems as if the shield is made of Life Force and as such, it is as if Lucyder had to be killed twice in order to be truly defeated. Lucyder: "WHY YOU?!?" Lucyder countered Destin's attack by striking the ground just below Destin, raising a tall column of fire out of the ground! Then, if it connects, Lucyder will jump and pummel Destin mercilessly as he's stuck into the ceiling becease of the column of fire. However, if it misses, Lucyder will teleport at the other side of the room and prepare to attack... As such, Admiral Zerodius and the Vice-Admiral, Dreickonis, have decided to create a new Project... a Project which would create a force unlike anything we saw before, a force that could actually be a match for the UEN. However, it seemed that the Admiral and his second-in-command couldn't agree on the Project's nature. As such, most of the Hunters' best scientists went on with Dreickonis on their way while Zerodius worked alone in secret along with the best mortal heroes and scientists and some lesser Hunter scientists. After 75 full years of work, both arrived with a different Project. Altought it was decided at first that both Projects would be used at the same time... some events caused Dreickonis's Project to be cancelled. The reasons for the cancellation of his Project shall be included in later notes. =NOTE #2 "Project Ex" by agent Jakes, General of the Hunters Today, the Admiral presented his Project to us... and I cannot believe it. It took them 75 years to do... THAT?!? Admiral Zerodius has always been a weird Hunter agent, full of contradictions... but never was it more apparent! Get a load of this: he believe we need to use the powers of Darkness to defeat the UEN! What a loser! As everyone knows, Darkness is the element of destruction, death, and fear... how could it be used for Good? No way it could, I tell you! Then, there's that stupid Dark Weapon thingy. It's made of souls so it cannot be good. How is it acceptable to murder innocents so a weapon can be built? I tought protecting the Universe was our duty, after all... and now, we need to slaughter those we were supposed to protect in order to create a weapon of some sort! Worse, it's of pure darkness!... and by that, I mean lack of light, not dark power! How can the power of emptiness harm anyone? Things such as Eternum are only myths, after all! To make matter worse, the creatures born from this Project, the "Ex" beings, are actually mortals! I do not care if they have DNA pieces from almost all of the strongest heroes alive! He created MORTALS to cry out loud! The UEN will crush them, believe me! Still, for some strange reason, the Project has struck a cord among many a Hunter... I fail to see why. Well... thankfully that Dreickonis has shown his Project to everyone! =NOTE #3 "Project Lavender" by agent Lyle, head of the Science Department for the Hunters Dreickonis finished showing off his Project, Project Lavender. For a Project that is supposed to be revolutionnary, it's hardly any good... but well, I'll review it all now. First, Project Lavender's goal. It's goal is to create beings of pure Light that would purify the souls of mortals that are "infested" with Evil and destroy the UEN agents. That, in itself, is totally ridiculous. Purify people from Evil? Evil is not a force by itself, it is the combined effects of Hatred, Destruction, Terror, and Despair... which by themselves, are not only not truly Evil, but are necessary to the very souls of conscious beings. No negative feelings, no positive ones! The method of purification is flawed too. People are analysed according on how "bright" is the Light within souls and then, "infested" beings have their souls over-written. Personally, over-writting souls is probably the most vile crime that can be done... for it is to erase someone completely, turning him into something he was not supposed to be. Also, determing if one is Evil or not solely on the "brightness" of one's soul is stupid. It's not becease a mortal worship us everyday or/and has angel wings that he's not Evil! As for the fighting method of the creatures... it's classical stuff... read: inneffective against the UEN. Wasn't the angels' crushing defeat at the hands of the UEN a clear enough exemple that the traditionnal way of fighting Evil are not effective against this new enemy? It is not important if those new beings are more than 2000 times more holy than angels and more pure... they remain inneffective. Also, the lack of real weapons on those beings makes them ridiculous. Holy water won't do much against an Evil protected by thick layers of energy shielding and metal armor!... and even without protection, more than half of the enemies are actually mortal and are immune to Holyness! The most blatent flaw in the Project is the fact that the beings of Light, which he named "Arch-Seraph" (can he get any more cliched?), are completely and entirely immortals... which means that they can be killed instantly using a basic Banish spell. Such a flaw cannot be accepted when dealing with an enemy as powerful as the UEN. All in all, Dreickonis simply wanted to impress people with stats and fake reports. As always, he manipulate people and show them what they want unstead of what they need. As such, I recommend that Project Lavender shall be cancelled as it is a waste of ressources. A being of pure Light to fight Evil? Maybe... but not in the way Dreickonis imagined it! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ============ DESTIN EVENT ============ North got into the way of Destin's attack and used it's Power Shield arm to block Destin's shield. Lucyder: "What is it, cutie? Do you have problems with my robot? Heeheehee!" Lucyder placed her hands in front of her and began to charge... During this time, the grey robots tried to approach Blink. They seemed totally unarmed and their small, weak arms seemed unnapropriate for combat.
