I really need help with my Action Replay!
I used the Pokemon Maker program to get a Celebi my PC in Leafgreen...
Now whenever I go into my PC, the whole screen goes black and I can't do anything! Can someone please help?
Do I have to start my game over? I really need help, people!
This is for the actual game, not for the ROM.

I believe on all game modification devices, they actually place a disclaimer that says "WARNING: Use of this device may damage/corrupt game data."

That's why I never really liked using Gamesharks, Game Genies, Action Replays, or anything like that. They're just too risky, and then when stuff happens like what happened to Dann here, the company says "It's too bad, you screwed yourself".

It figures, they really seem like they're just out to get the gamer.

Well, after all they change the save game data. It probably is possible to repair the game data somehow with the help of an AR even, but wouldn't that be more work than it's worth?

I know for sure that Firered and Leafgreen (and Ruby/Sapphire) actually saves two savegames. One is a backup of the old savegame that get's taken while you save the game, if you shut off the game while it's saving it says something along the lines of "Save data corrupt, loading old savegame". Maybe the old savegame is intact but I have no idea how to load the other one. :/

Shut it off while it's saving. That pretty much wrecks it every time, which is why it even has a backup. (Saving seems to drain the batteries really bad. )

Yep, and I can tell from my expereince.

From now on, I always start to charge my GBA SP as soon it turns red. It's bad when it shuts itself off while saving.

You see, a battery isn't empty when the GBA SP shuts itself down like that.

Using a link drains alot of power, and even confuse that lamp. I know since my GBA SP did go red after three hours with Zelda four swords adventures, even if it was recently recharged. Then I could play any GBA games on it, and it was green for 3-5 hours after that.

So apparently, the GBA SP did need little more power for the link transferring and that was too much for the battery. I think the GBA shuts itself off like that becuse of security reasons. All GB's does that, hell even DS does...
