Yeah I remember it. I got it in a box pack with Marios Time Machine for PC. I threw it out and played Time Machine, which an hour later I also threw out.

Eh, it was an okay game. But even back when I was obsessed with Mario I had a better program that got me up to like 90wpm at one point. Can't remember what it was, and it was on a mac too.

I've got the box for it right up above the monitor of this computer There's three disks in it. Two 'normal' floppies, and one of the big black, and floppier ones. I'll be darned if I know what they're called, but one's in there I had it installed on our old computer, and I haven't tried using it on this one yet, but I have the feeling it won't work as well We got that back when I was still in high school and was doing my community service hours at Loads of Love here. They had a box of random computer software, most of it old, and I noticed this box in it, and asked if I could take it home. They let me, and that's how I got it. The only typing program I use now is Typer Shark, which my brother showed me. I like it better than the other ones I've tried |

I loved this game as a kid. I never got good at typing with it, or during that time. I loved the look and animation. I don't remember if it was any good, but it was awesome back then. I only saw the later levels because my dad showed them to me. I didn't learn to type until middle school. I should find this and steal it from the internet |

I think I have the same one...the floating mario head with his "game" voice. that pops up in between levels to tell you that you're doing great when you're not trying or to sing something completly irrelivant to the game at hand. And then it spins around and the game lags up and eventualy crashes and Mario's voice hangs and you have to hit the game with a hammer. Yea. I can see why you hate it. They should rename that particular version to "Mario teaches domestic violence". But that asside, the game was quite addictive when I was younger and didn't actualy know any better (read: I actualy beat Mario is Missing. Yeah. You can beat that game.) ...The Mario Teaches Typing I remember had you running along, stomping koopas, then swimming along, doing something, then running through a castle dodging thwomps. It looked, on the whole, like this: Not at all with a floating Mario head. Between levels there was Mario at a chalkboard. |

There is another. It was like that Mario 64 head on the beginning screen. And it did have the same voice as Mario, so it must be a later version...because, SMW was the theme and Charles Martinet was not Mario in SMW time

Originally posted by Keitaro I beat Mario is Missing as well. 25 levels, isn't it? I didn't learn much geography from it, though, as my knowledge of the english language was really limited back then, and I answered the questions by either randomly guessing, or by looking quickly through the pamphlet looking for words that were in the question. Yeah. I did learn quite a bit of english from it, though. |

I personally learned more from Mavis Beacon, but I thought that Mario was more fun at the time. I never actually learned jack about typing from it, though. And Adamant, I remember Mario is Missing! Such a youngster I was. So fun at the time... such trivial knowledge, too. |

nice month bump also, we had this game on the macs at my old elementary school. After a few days some genius came up with an idea to just pound all the keys and for the rest of the time we were in there it was just BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP endlessly. I was one of the few who tried (and actually did well) |
