| Well, there was usually something different with every tournament. This one is kinda different, and it'd be a nice way to pull off some nice looking battles. And judges are only around for judging battles. No actual refereeing is done.. since.. well.. we never had any problems in any of the tournaments. As a side note, I prefer to be a fighter.  |

| Sorry for the bump... but, the activity of this thread highlights a bit of a problem with a KOF-style tourney... cool, yes, but you'd need a LOT of participants for a worthwhile number of teams... something we don't have ...any other themes you people can think of? | I was kinda hoping that some of the veterans would've piped up... No need to worry about the bump, Ulty I'm aware of the vast amount of participants.. but I had the feeling that the Sim-Battle Arena had plenty of fighters to go around... Also, I thought that if there were teams, then it would ensure activity. If one teammate forgets to post, then the others would remind the inactive teammate. As for any other themes... I can't think of any.. I do know it should be something different than what we had before. |

| Keep in mind, the only issues I have with the team format (assuming you still want it, Kirbynite, is that: 1) We still need judges with a bit of sim-battle experience. 2) Depending on how large the teams are, we need to make sure we have enough for brackets 3) It doesn't really show off the individual storytelling aspect, in my opinion, as well as a one on one fight does. But that's just me. Having said that, I think the lawcards idea would make things so much simpler. |

| I haven't seen Sim-Battle action in quite some time. I'd love to be involved in some way, either as a fighter or, if needed, a judge. I'm leaning towards a team tournament myself, but only if an appropriate number of participants is available. |
