ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG. Looks like the next game will be focusing a lot on the undead. And you don't just have to ride Epona! And there's rain! And darkness! A lot of the areas look like insanely beautiful versions of those found in OoT and MM. |

The trailer was everything I expected and more. Its truly beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! The one "problem" if even that is that it seemed that during some battles Link was like sliding around. Its probably nothing but it looked just a little wierd. The rest of the animations in that trailer were just amazing though, that may be what makes that sliding look a little wierd. The Gorons boxing was fluid! and AWESOME!!!!! |

I dunno, I just expected Link to be more detailed. Everything else looks great, but... Link could definitely use a few more polygons :x

Yeah, I'd have to agree with you there. The enemies are more detailed than Link. :3

I think hes pretty detailed. His sword isnt attached by velcrow(sp?) anymore Im pretty sure by the time the game is released those little freaky details will be fixed, You have to admit that the games looks freaking awesome as it is now, regardless. |

I agree about Link not looking finished. I think all of his movements look a bit stiff and robotic. Then again, the game always needs a character model for him, so there might not be any convenient points to switch in a newer model without interupting anything. I'm going to bet (and hope) he looks better when the game is released. And while gameplay is important, we can't really see much from a demo like this. All we know so far is: dark, shiney, horses. And while all of those are great, it was just as dark and had more horses last trailer, so we have to comment on shineyness . |

Trapster. Shut up. He said that because most of the time you'll be seeing his back, so his not-particularly-detailed front doesn't show. |

Knowing gaming people out there, i'm not surprised if there is alot of people who want to see Link's butt. But that's nothing Nintendo would offically do, stupid. Well, the game is still in devolopment. It's maybe finished the whole gameplay and levels and such, so it's probably in fine-tuning right now. If it's getting released so soon in Japan... |

Originally posted by windwaker I don't really see how you'd come by that conclusion. There was nothing even resembling the undead in the first trailer, and in this new one, there's only a couple scenes of Stalfos and bone-like animals (all set in a graveyard) and one shot of some ghosts in something of a sewer (which could very well be inside one of the graves, all considered). |

When I saw the ghosts in the sewer thing, I thought about how legendary Hyrulian Knights who had lost in battle may help Link in his quest somehow. I dunno, I probably sound crazy. Link doesnt look finished? He looks about how he did in SCII which is fucking awesome. If they improve on it that would be cool, but just the way it is would be great as well. |

I have to say I notice no real problems with Link's model. As for his movement, it seems the engine is based on Wind Waker (the way Link gets hit and the way enemies fly through the air when battered, and even the effects from sword blows all seem to point towards this) and this is likely to be tweaked and adjusted before release. As are any graphical issues. But it looks stunning. I don't think it will necessarily focus on the undead that much, just clearly there is a section of the game in a forest fighting many skeletal foes (Skull Woods?). It looks great, although my only concerns are the lack of any interaction between Link and anybody else (other than the cute kitties). I presume this is because they still hasn't sorted out all the plot-based stuff yet, and because they wanted to show off the monsters and all that. Classic foes spotted... Stalfos (obviously), Deku Babas, Keese, Guays, a type of Armos (presumably), Gohma (it appears to be, anyway), Lizalfos and/or Dinofols, a spider which may or may not be a Deeler from The Adventure of Link, and possibly Bokoblins wearing armour. EDIT: Oh, and the wolf howling at the end was a nice touch. (edited by Fyxe on 03-12-05 06:03 PM) |

I say the howling "wolf" is a wolfos. In any case, the stalfos scenes are in a graveyard that happes to have trees around it. You can see the gravestones clearly in each stalfos scene. And Gohma looks 10x more awesome than he ever has before. |

Originally posted by JDavis I was also thinking it could be a Wolfos but it's hard to judge, who's to say it's not just a normal wolf? If Wolfos do actually make an appearance in the final game I'd say in retrospect that it probably is one, but if they don't, who's to say. The problem with Gohma is that she's lacking in claws. |

Well, its a Zelda game. Even if it is a regular wolf, its a wolfos. Those warthogs you can ride around on, regular warthogs, but I bet they arent called warthogs because its in Hyrule.

That's not so. Who says Wolfos are regular wolves in Zelda? Zelda games have normal dogs, normal cats, normal seagulls, normal fish. Why not normal wolves? And Wolfos are anything but normal wolves. O.o'' They're more like werewolves.
