This is awesome! Mario Kart is coming to arcades, courtesy of the Triforce arcade hardware.

I'm seriously looking forward to this... I hope they have it available at E3 this year.

I'll expect that to be a hell of a hit then...'specially if there's multiplayer.

That's going to be a big thing for the arcades that can afford it.

Nice.

I just hope they put them into wide release. The idea of F-Zero GX/AX connectivity was really cool...but good luck trying to actually find an AX machine. Luckily I think I unlocked all that stuff anyway.

Wow... wow...

That will be a great game, but only if there are enough of them released in the US. I found a F-ZERO AX at one of the Disney hotels, but I didn't have my memory card nor could I find those magnetic cards for it. They better have them for this if it comes in the US. I really would love to play this.

I'm hoping this is put into wide release as well. I'd love to see Mario Kart machines all over arcades, everywhere.

Well it's about TIME they used Triforce for something other than F-Zero AX which I've never seen at any arcades around here.

Could this mean another Mario Kart game for the GameCube before the Revolution's time as well?

Oh, and Pac-Man being included kicks ASS. He'd better have a Power Pill special.

Who knows... they could easily port the Triforce game as a GameCube one, and release it. It'd be so easy, all of the models, game mechanics, etc. are all there for them.

At least I know what to look out for next time I visit a big arcade, with some luck they have Mario Kart Arcade GP there.

There hadn't been too many Arcade Nintendo games...

Wow, Namco is really helping out game projects and companies in ways I never thought of in the past, meaning like 5-6 years ago. (Namely Star Fox Assault, Project Pegasus, Xenosaga, Donkey Konga)

Don't forget the Namco/Capcom RPG coming out soon which looks like a fanboy's dream.

Namco and Nintendo have always been close, I thought... friendlier relationship that with other companies that Nintendo deals with at least.

Likelyhood that one of those will ever make it to this god-forsoken town : not bloody likely. Maybe they'll get some at the arcades in Omaha tho, because those are freakin' tight.

My local arcade has quite a few import games, so this just may show up around here. I'm excited...

Darkstalkers, Resident Evil, and Soul Calibur character all in one game? I'd say that's a big yes...

Holy goddamn hell, is that true? Soul Calibur characters and Capcom stuff? Better come out for the GC or I'll kill something.

Anything with the SC characters is gooood.

EDIT: Aww, only for the PS2 at this stage? At least only Mitsurgi is confirmed... Still sucks, though. Whoo for crossover madness. Boo for exclusivity.

On the topic of the arcade machines, they look interesting, but for whatever reason, I was never able to see what's so exciting about playing games on those, vs. using the actual console Last I knew, we had an arcade up at one of the two malls here, and it may still be there, but I haven't been in that place in a long time (probably 5-6 years), so chances are good that it's gone now or something.

In the other mall, the 'arcade' consists of two arcade machines underneath / at the back of the escalators Not really exciting, especially considering that the only console game shop in that mall is over two the right of the two machines

As far as the character crossovers in that RPG, it sounds sort of interesting by reading that, but I guess we'll have to wait to see exactly what it's like

Well, it's apparently being made by the same people who did 'Xenosaga', which people rave about, so.
