I'm not real impressed that he had to post in the Auction thread just to attempt to "call me" on pointing out to Thayer that I found his comments "abrasive". I shouldn't have had to explain why I found Thayer's comments abrasive -- I think he may be just trying to start something
Green: Jeff is an instigator, no doubt, but he is essentially harmless. He's been a part of the tRO community for a long time now, almost as long as I have, possibly longer. I know for a fact that he's not a bad user, he just feels like joshing people for the most part. If his spam gets to the point where he's going too far, do what you want with him, but for the most part I doubt he's anywhere near as bad as some users on the board.
The same, incidentally, goes for Thayer. We should be concentrating on more important things right now, rather than go witch-hunting with people who are just trying to have fun with the community.
