Anyway, I was mucking around with the character selection code and one of the values 'EA' when changed to 00 it skips the name selection and sets the characters the default name of your character to NINTEN and the rival SONY.


Yeah, only, that doesn't happen nice try, though.

Last view: 5409 days 		......riiiight. Which I realized after the fact, so, you know, completely disregard that =| (my mind has been completely BURNED from hacking emerald non-stop)

Anyways, it isn't stored with the default names in the original red, which is really strange. Though to be honest, Gamefreak has a knack for leaving in strange things on the game (like the "If you like this game, buy it or die" anti-piracy message in LeafGreen )

I don't even knwo what it does other than take up space... and even then, couldn't you just gameshark it away?
That was the point. If you used a gameshark to hack up a custom Pokemon, you would recieve "BAD EGG" instead. Which just...was nothing particularly useful there's ways around it, but it was pretty tricky.

Last view: 5409 days 		One kitty, my little sister's really. Name's "Katie", she picked it (I told her "Katie the Kitty sounded cliché but the little bugger has grown on me). Its a "tuxedo" cat I believe she told me, its black with white paws/tummy.

I had a turtle when I was 7. Named "Squiggle". But we got rid of im around when I was 10 T-T they thought he would give my sister salmonella so they released him in to a river somewhere ;\ lovely.

Last view: 5409 days 		It was funnier because it was slipped in to a person's dialogue. If I recall (I still have to dump my LG again ) it was something along the lines of "Oh, that's [something]! Now you can [xyz]! By the way, if you like this game, buy it or die."

(I have yet to see this in the context of the game but it is most certainly in the ROM's text)

Granted I don't care enough to do the reasearch either way, but I figure its an interesting thing to consider. I honestly don't care, again Somwhere, someone is doing something dishonest, I guess is what we get out of all this.
