Not really diggin' the overworld perspective. The pipes are at entirely different perspectives and it just doesnt look so great. The ice-blue one also seems a little bland, but hey. Its good effort at least. The levels don't seem half bad, but it looks like you used the GBA pallet for some of those rips...did you? I would probably recomend not doing that, as they made the pallets lighter and washed out to "show up" on a GBA screen (entirely unnecessary, as one of the brightness settings in the Link to the Past remake used the original pallet, completly visable, but I digress), and it doesn't look as good in an SNES environment. Just my two cents though. Keep up the good work! |

I like hard ones, but for some reason I enjoy them about 100 times better with a dip of some sort. Recent development for me, as I kinda grew up being more of a chip person, not really liking pretzels at all. Soft ones are nice, but the cinamon ones they have at those little mall shops are awesome |

Posted by DanielleI couldn't agree with you more on that, so amen. I'll graduate early/mid May. I go to an all male school, so as you would imagine, I'm looking forward to getting out of the testosterone overload and the overly-emphisized jock mentality that is praised at this place. Art and music departments get the back burners, surprise surprise. Though, I hear its like that at any school, so...eh. Can't wait to get out though ;x |

Only thing I'm really missing right now is the ability to edit posts, and see who's online in the current forum. Yeah, it shows who is online overall in the index, but I figured they would have at least "finished" that feature and made it do the same for individual forums. Oh well. Not going to lose sleep over it ;x |

We have plenty of those guys, only add in that they'll spend an entire class talking about what pornos they've seen, or something along those lines ;\ also PE for me is hell because I for whatever reason have -3- of them this semerster, what? Though, I only go to one of them--I did that when I had two of 'em last semester and I somehow passed both...so you know ;x I guess I could just skip the class all together but you know, my parents are paying for school so ;\ we never do much in the class anyway, though. |

Oh, well I didn't exactly have a problem with the pallet of that particular overworld, I just thought it looked a little empty but you know, its not horrible.
As for the pipes, well like I said they are all different perfectives. The vertical and horizontal pipes are being viewed in an explicitly 2D perspective, that is from one solid side. The pipes which represent levels you can enter are an an angle of sorts, you can see both the top and part of the front side, for example. The differences n perspectives tend to clash a bit here. Its nothing HORRIBLE, trust me, but it just stood out to me. |

Health is an entirely different class here, and its an elective to boot. It also counts as a Science credit, for whatever unfathomable reason (I would imagine it would be a PE credit instead...) |

Keitaro from Love Hina, people used to say I was like him in personality and at the height of my LH fandom, I took the alias as my own. MajinBlueDragon was from when I saw a bunch of people trolling a chatroom with the names MajinGreen, Orange, Red, etc dragon so I registered Blue to bust their chops the name eventualy stuck with me and I just sorta...yeah. Heh ;x |

It was here. It hasn't physically snowed in a bit, but the amount of amassed left-over snow is pretty large. That's New England in the winter for you ;x |

I take lessons at a language center near my house. I'm hardly fluent, only been at it a year and a half. My half-sister is fluent, but I don't ever talk to her in it (or even really SEE her for that matter)
I don't even know if I would know enough to get around really though I'm starting to get to the useful stuff in my cirriculum. Oh, and kanji hates my life. |

Mmm, I would say communication is probably key in those kinds of situations (lord knows I've been on the recieving end of some poor communication myself). The better a staff is at communicating its actions amongst eachother, the smoother things will run. Though, nothing is perfect I suppose ;x |

Well, what part of Mass. do you live in? Place I go to is in Marlborough, and they offer group lessons as well as private, so if you're really concerned about the social aspect of it you could always go one-on-one. Of course, I believe that costs a little more ;x |

One of my favorite albums is "Act II" by the Japanese band TOKIO. I know a lot of people might not be really in to the whole Japanese music thing, but eh ;x I got really in to this group when I spent some time in Japan over the summer. I had heard of them before, but now they were on TV constantly and showing up everywhere, so I was like "why not?" and got one of their albums. Needless to say, it was awesome. Totaly in love with the band since.
Its mostly pop-rock, I guess you could call it. They're basically a J-POP group attempting to be marketed as a rock band, and they pretty much succeed in doing so. They write their own songs, play their own instruments, I basically idolize these guys for those sole facts. Lots of talent right there. I've also always been pretty partial to my "Volume SeVen" and "Musicmind" albums by V6. Pretty incredible group, also Japanese. I might not understand the words all the time, but I am absolutely in love with their voices. The leader, Masayuki, is hands down one of the most talented vocalists I have ever heard. Love it. |

I noticed that about albums, especially the filler track thing. Some filler tracks aren't too bad, I will admit, though some albums I will find myself skipping over a good number of songs or becoming disinterested fast. For the most part I've never found any real "theme" to the albums I've come accross, mostly just as you said it, a bunch of recent singles with fillers to keep things interesting. I guess I don't mind too much if the music is GOOD but you know, if its just some random group of songs just sell more copys because a well known single is on it, then I'm not really going to be too satisfied with my purchase ;x |
