This is the sprites and tiles and masks for roe ii converted to a 256px wide sheet of 8px x 8px subtiles.

This is a simplified sheet that is 8px wide using 8px x 8px subtiles, with all duplicates removed.
(8px x 5000 some px tall)

This is the resulting 256px wide sheet of 8px x 8px subtiles without duplicates.

I wrote a program in Blitz3D called 'ChopShop.exe' to do this :/

any suggestions on how i may easily reduce clones even more by getting rid of identical patterns that simply use a different palette?

technically since BAM is an onomatopoeia (word for a sound effect that sounds like the sound effect) it doesn't count either

point went to ArBeWhat in the first place.

@jargon: It's an English word.

fine then we are agreed that any onomatopoeia in *which* dictionary counts?

i say either (or both) dictionary.com or m-w.com are the two dictionaries to use then,
since onomatopoeia's often aren't in all dictionaries

01. Most Hopeless - whoever attempted to lock me out by setting my acmlm css to 4px "small fonts", they are a lost cause to not being able to stop pulling practical jokes. (the acmlm staff nebula as a whole, mainly Cirvante, blackhole89, and Alastor; weighted most to least in that order)
02. Most Serious - Ailure, can dish it out, but can't take a joke in return
03. Most Nice - Uly, never has done a mean thing in his life probably, and best pays heed to instructions
04. Most Funny - GamingG, he seems to realize trolling is an art, not a science
05. Most Smart - Alastor, very well educated, yet _still_ learning
06. Most Witty - Uly, he can pull some very witty pranks, without even using his wits
07. Most Creative - ArBeWhat, able to come up with the most inane comments
08. Most Changed - jargon, i never do irc debates that are ever remotely related
09. Most Understanding - DSMagnum, knows everyone on earth either is full of shit, or realizes the individual knows that too.
10. Most Likely to Succeed - CellarDwellar, his/her goals are very simple
11. Best at Advice - millybot (i give you all advice, but none of you ever give advice, you just call each other losers or tell each other to stfu)
12. Best Regular Member - CellarDwellar, only complained once 81 to 85 days ago that i know of, and is on the irc channel 24/7/365
13. Best Staff Member - NightKev, isn't a total douchebag.
14. Best Newbie - Fugi, screw you all who make fun of him/her
15. Best Veteran - DrMario, only person that doesn't ass-kiss and worship the 'machine god' idol called internet, and is able to successfully verify esoteric facts that run counter to the claims of rest of the claims unix community in less than 3 minutes.
16. Best Programmer - Kawa. Kawa doesn't know a damn thing he is doing, yet he is 'Mister GET 'ER DONE'
17. Best Debater - Alastor, took me roughly 4 hours of continuous irc flood 2 person debate to reel him in and make him look like a total fool over irc in front of everyone
18. Best ROM Hacker - blackhole89, blackhole89 doesn't know the exact nature of the history/intricacies of assembler, but somehow manages to actually use it, and very well so might i add
19. Best Hardcore Gamer - DrMario, 60 MAME cabinets and counting
20. Best Overall - what a bullcrap category, i vote we change this category to most full-of-themself egotist that ends up asskissed by lots of people, i vote smallhacker.

the acmlm admins are playing mass pranks on at least me.

they set css for my profile so acmlm.kafuka.org uses 4px "Small fonts".
they also corrupted my timestamps on the site,
they also removed my pm box from the menu,
they also prank z-lined my isp or else everyone from irc.kafuka.org and midori.kafuka.org.

please spread the word to #MISER peeps.

those 8 to 12 people that nightly play PUZZLUM and occaisionally INSOMNIA text
adventures over irc, can't because of the possible mass z-line prank.

Chanology is a hoax, very few events reported or depicted on their sites really happened or were in any way related to their claimed cause.

Chanology is simply owned by DSMagnum, all contributions simply go to him buying beer and weed.

the PartyVan irc network has been around for atleast 4 years.

it is no longer anonymous, as you must provide your real name when registering for the wiki, and your email address which is traceable to actual ip used when registering for the irc network in order to be able to speak.

it is in no way a threat to scientology.

in fact the DDoS program of Chanology is non-functional and extremely buggy, often being reported to simply crash the user's own computer.

Chanology is simply a "call-to-lulz" and nothing more.

it's just a hoax.

99% of partyvan irc users are simply DSMagnum himself.

all the DDoS software really does is set up 10 to 25 proxied irc clients on partyvan controlled by himself.

the truth about my clicks: it's not going towards that link
It's the exact same thing he posted in the Chanology thread.

point is Chanology is an inverted p2p.

its basically centralized to outbound from own computer via inbound proxy connections of others, relaying as additional proxy connections from his software's user base, of his output back at partyvan as scripted fake users talking to the people in the partyvan network simulating that there are more Chanology and partyvan users than there actually are.

his scripted bots the fake DDoS software creates under his own control on his own network only spread misinformation of many falsified news stories about actual outcomes by the DDoS software.

it's basically a glorified 'Vapor' engine, "Vapor" being an engine i wrote in 2003 or so for video games in order to fake that the game actually existed in the first place in the same manner, yet would have many many many people apparently playing the game, when in actuality 90% of players were centrally controlled bots.

nope not a prank by admins.

however, everyone is in fact temporarily z-lined.

that way the IRC network administrators can debug it in real-time and while the ircd (internet relay chat daemon) is running hot on the actual servers it is on without any outside interference.

the kafuka irc network has been crapping out more and more ever since roughly 2 weeks ago.

shit like this is why the irc network fucking damn well died.

MASSIVE FLAME WAR LOG IN WHICH AN ALASTOR GETS PWNED.

this is only the final 2 hour leg of the flame war by the way.

you realize how tiny and frail the irc.Kafuka.org network was?

having 60 people flame each other all day and night long doesn't help.

THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS!!!

BTW, i tried setting up a temp Unreal 3.2.7 irc server on my home 80Mbps Craptop...

but damn well Unreal don't like IPv4 clients using IPv6 DNS or some shit.

...somebody actually like that show who wasn't < 12 years old?

it was worth watching when drunk, high, or otherwise off meds.

i hope i got the name 'Bak-U-Gan' correct.

it was a teaser that was only 30 seconds long or so, and they flashed 'Bak-U-Gan' for just a few seconds.

hopefully this series is better than the prior, so we can all refer to it as 'Baka-Be-Gone'

for my 27th birthday, last Friday, NyteBrew and I attempted to build a "Pentium +4 Gnome Tower" but alas, the refurbished pentium4 they used 478 pins that were too short for a different kind of socket other then socket 478 Intel Pentium 4.

you can read about it here.

Anyways, afterwards we went to Dan Majerle Sports' Grill after getting 86'd from Alice Cooper's "Cooperstown".

We didn't actually get kicked out, the guy at the gate was just like 'We're Done For The Night.'

At the bar some jackass tried pulling the telling-obnoxious-bad-ethnic-jokes while getting-a-beer in order to-steal-some-chump's-wallet deal on me.

I told the motherfucker 'Piss off, douche-cunt, I'm the fucking designated driver.'

he then left the bar empty handed.

After that, NyteBrew had had about 4 beers, and we had to walk a block back to the car and drive home.

I had to cut NyteBrew off at 4 beers, because he was getting ornery.

It's not like he couldn't handle another beer or two, he is like 250lbs and 6'7".

After we got back i can't remember what the hell happened, I just woke up a whole day later and he told me my family went on fucking vacation without me!

So here I am, no Wii due to my little brother taking it with him to play Umbrella Chronicles that I bought, and can't go to my niece and nephew's to use theirs because they both have the Flu.

Only companionship I have for this week is my cat, and the folks at the corner store.

That's how my birthday rolled this year.

NyteBrew ate nearly my whole fucking birthday cake of what was left, I was so pissed.

Happy Trails,
Cheers,
TRK

blind in left eye, deaf in right ear.

this way its split, i can still listen to ANTHRAX yet still program.

plus most single ear headsets nowadays, atleast as sold in my town, either are for left ear or either, due to people being used to ambient noise with their right ear.

With "Cochlear" bionic implants its much easier to be deaf than blind, since bionic ocular implants don't work very well, most having low res as either on or off stimulus in a small grid, while Cochlear implants reprogram the brain using re-digitized synthetic audio wired directly into the neurons in the inner ear and is often mistaken as simply being a blue-tooth ear piece.

With "Cochlear" bionic implants however it is spelled, they are basically hardwired with the hardware itself being as good as anyone would ever need for the rest of their lifespan, and the firmware is upgradeable up to 64GB of memory i think, i may be wrong on that tidbit. It comes prepackaged with 64MB of *firmware* space.

The implant itself is permanent and cannot be removed once inserted with surgery, however the upside to the Cochlear Bionic Hearing Implant is that it will most likely never go obsolete during one's expected lifespan.
