The only actual TV program I tune in to watch is Top Gear. I also like watching Mock the Week and Have I Got News For You when it's on.
Otherwise I'm currently tracking: 1. 24 Season 4 2. Simoun 3. My Hime 4. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - 2nd Gig 5. Star Trek: Deep Space 9 season 6 6. The IT Crowd 7. Black Books season 2 8. (thinking about getting) Spaced |

I've been documenting the design of my dissertation this year- a forum system. I've been producing class specifications for each of my object types, I've got eight so far. I will probably end up with around 15 by the end of it.
The actual forum is hovering around 64k in size at the moment. It's coded in object oriented PHP5. It keeps the number of database queries to a minimum (akin to board2, contrasting 1.92 which I last counted using upwards of 50 queries a page). Produced markup is XHTML compliant and fully indented. Source is fully indented and commented. I'm also using design patterns where I can (mostly iterators at the moment). The point of the dissertation is to investigate community tagging and information retrival tools (and possibly social bookmarking) like Flickr and Digg, and to implement new ideas where possible. Tags are going to be moderated by board staff and applied by content creators. I'm also going to look at optimising the forum to work with google and digg. |

Rain is bad when it's very cold outside, and windy too. In fact, rain is only good when I get to stay inside, otherwise it just plain sucks. |

I like pie. Acmlm should make a pie chart showing each board's share of activity. |

I don't really know if I'm capable of multiples, I'm kind of a "delayed" case when it comes to most sexual acitivities. I do find that I am very strictly mood dependent when it comes to intimacy. If I'm under any kind of stress at all I will be completely disinterested and stay up on my computer instead. University, work, family, self-image issues, if anything is keeping my mind occupied, the chances are I will prefer writing code, surfing Wikipedia or playing WoW to anything else.
Even when I am in the mood, Chad usually has to encourage me a little by talking and cuddling. She understands why, that doesn't stop her from becomming extremely impatient. Maybe it's the Yaoi she reads where boys waste no time at all with any emotion or foreplay |

I'd hate a clock like that. It's not very subtle... I'd like it to break the news to me slowly, not "IT'S FAR TOO FUCKING LATE. YOU'LL HATE YOURSELF IN THE MORNING"
As for the cardboard box- I do that too. Which dumbass decided to put vents in the bottom of a LAPTOP computer? You can't put it on anything but a desk. |

I have one analogue one behind me and I usually use my phone anyway. It's just so I don't wake up halfway through the night and accidentally catch the time kill myself
My Vaio has three different vents on the bottom. Then again, it does have a thin form-factor. It tends to boil like an arwing in the corona of a star |

We have Wi-Fi at university. That makes it very much more difficult for them to monitor what we do on our laptops. All they can do is block ports, but even then it's fairly easy to tunnel out using SSH
It's fairly easy for me and my friends to browse 4chan and leave meatspin on unsuspecting machines |

Pasta, about two hours ago. Pasta with a tomato / bacon / onion sauce we make ourselves, ready sauces get so boring
I'm probably going to make myself some toast for supper though, as I am hungry again |

It takes me over an hour to get to sleep usually. I'm under pressure at the moment as it's my final year at university and will be soon looking for a job. If Chad didn't have to get up early in the morning, about this time of the school year I'd be staying up 'till 3am in the morning to force sleep to kick in.
I love sleeping, I could sleep for England... But only in the mornings. I'm rubbish at nodding off before midnight. |
