I think that SMK actually uses one GFX mode for the Background/etc., and mode 7 for the ground.

Reminds me, does Yoshi's Safari use the exact same thing?
Somehow Yoshi's Safari's ground looks better than SMK's.

1) that hammer looks very heavy to be holding with 3 fingers and leaning on the top of his shirt collar, try to make it look more anchored on his shoulder

2) his left forearm seems very short

3) I find drawing naked people is the best way to practice anatomy, because you can't hide flaws underneath clothes and are forced to make everything right.

1) Oh yes, It was exported from Cinema 4D's FlashEx v2, and I actually tried to make it to be ontop of his shoulder, but failed. That doesn't affect the dude's outlook though.

2) Looks like I made a folding mistake there... If I'd continue the one line opposite of the elbow to the other way it'd look sensible. Thanks for that one!

3) True. I kinda made him intentionally dressed since I don't have much experience drawing naked peeps, plus this wasn't originally going to be a test on character proportions.

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate constructive criticism.

Toad's Geometry starts from 0x00A3D3DB.
Now to find out where it ends and how it's handled.

Sounds excellent though. I'd try it if I could.

For "mysterious" music, "Maridia 2" from Super Metroid would be pretty sweet.

You kiddin'? Super Metroid music would sound really wonky with SMW instruments...
But then again, I like your idea on Yoshi's Safari Pipe Land theme.

Well, one of the Bandai Satellaview games was piece of SMB3 from SMAS solely.
Take advantage from that.

Yeah, my host recently dropped off the face of the internet which led to him not paying his bills--in other words, I would have had those songs up much sooner anyways, I'm hoping to get them up at some point tonight. Sorry for the inconvenience =\

As for me making my own SML2/3 patch? Probably not. But the songs are there for anyone who knows what they are doing to use. *shrug*

Is there a specific reason why you're not posting them into public?

Becuase people are idiots due to the fact that only 3 people here understand how to hack music

Who said anything about hacking?

Posted by Keitaro
Um, posting what? I said I was going to post the SPCs soon but I ran in to some uploading issues as stated. Just bear with me, I'll get you them =\ as for reasons I'm not creating a patch, I just don't feel like its necessary. If someone wants to use my music in their hack, great, then go ahead. But I'm not going to do it for you.. (I originally made the SPCs for my own enjoyment, so)

Sorry, misread you there.
Awesome

The Title looks pretty wonky with there being only one fill color.
Try some dither gradient or something like that.

Well, I'm Finnish too, but I speak pretty fluent English.

And now someone comes and notes about a spelling error in the above sentence.

I agree on most of your points, but I must disagree with the chain thing with the "POST THIS SHIT 500 TIMES TO A FRIEND OF YOURS AND FIND ETERNAL LOVE"

It's really not their fault. I got an e-mail notification from YouTube saying that someone's replied to a comment of mine. I checked the comment, and apparently someone responded "ok ur stupid" to the whole "Toma sota balcu, Toma sota balcu, Toma sota balcu" thing.
I was 100% certain that I had NOT posted such crap, but there it was. Right in front of me. A comment by me, saying the stupidest thing ever.

I don't know if it's a some kind of a bot doing it, but it sure wasn't me.

To be honest, I'd much rather see some sort of data for the original Donkey Kong 94' on the Game Boy.

It's superior to the Mario vs Donkey Kong sequel in almost every single way, and the level data is probably a lot less complicated. I remember working on it a couple of years back, but didnt carry on with it that much.

Quoted for epic truth.
I have a foggy memory in my mind of someone posting primitive level data collections, but then again I don't know if it's just me. :\

Nonetheless, If anything should be put effort into, then definitely DK94.
With MvsDK having probably assloads of compressions and difficult routines, as opposed to the simple (Well yeah, no game level data is simple) DK94 level format.

In fact, I'll take a look at it right now.

Hey, that's true.
The title screen from TA was gold, and now that you mention it, the "Nintendo!" voice would be great when the short author sequence before the title screen demo comes.

A Random hoo haa, inspired by my favourite Chiptuner, Maktone, who is the author of the song you're hearing right about now.

Don't expect anything to happen. It's a loop.

I'm pretty satisfied with the backround I drew, and the overall animation.
