Apparently, the guy who made Cave Story has released a demo of his new game, Guxt.
Here's some delicious copypasta.

WIP shooting game v.0.8.0.0

The archive doesn't include a manual. Here's the basic "readme" info:

* Game is not complete yet
* Five stages in all
* Controls are the arrow keys and Ctrl
* Supports gamepads

Play records are stored in the automatically-created folder "play-records". I'm interested in seeing how players develop from their very first play until they get used to the game. If you could compress and email me (rochet at nifty.com) all your records (without deleting any), I'd much appreciate it.[/QUOTE]

I used to have a Virtual Boy. Those are very rare here in Europe.
Aside from that, Tombi! for the PSX. Great game, but too underrated.

And the Super Mario World 1989 beta.

You should definitely experiment with thinner strokes.
But aside from that, Clockworkz pretty much summed it all up.

Or JPG at a less extreme quality ... it really shouldn't be bigger than BMP (or even PNG, to be worth using)

BMPs in the internet are like blue whales in the street.
PNGs or GIFs, and if you want to be extreeem, try JPEG with maximum compression.

They're all cool, but perhaps you could try a bit less dithering?
I love dithering, yes, but in some of your work, you dither the same color too much.

- Just like in previous games, if Mario hits a block with a coin on top, he'll collect the coin. However, there are no levels in the game that take advantage of this, due to a programming error: the coin is replaced with a solid block (either 0x1D or 0x1E), instead of the correct pass-thru block (tile 0x25)! This is probably easily fixed, though I haven't looked into it yet.

Try Funky. It has note blocks with Coins on top of them. If you bump the blocks from below, you'll collect the coins but you can walk on air D:

Also the S in "Mario Start!" is the wrong palette. That always bugged the crap out of me.

Damn Straight!
It's really annoying. Very, very annoying.
Is it a technical restriction or can it be fixed by a few value changes?

?

what the heck happened to my picture? oh well.... i cant post it again sorry but well the point was that I made mario bowsers size.

Ordinary size modifications aren't too appealing, especially if they're in the same screen as a hideous HUD.

Two Stones looks really hard.

But seriously, great finds. Do you know if there's more?

There's also an invisible object that Yoshi can't eat in Yoshi's Island 3. It's yet unclear why.

Magin was the city MM went to to visit Mystic and fought Doopliss the first time. Look through the archives.

Jugem doesn't have a bio since we haven't met him yet.

Yes, Jugem is Lakitu's Japanese name, but the name Jugem's Cloud remained even in the English translations of the game.

Wtf I could've sworn it was Jugemu.
Whatever. Great comics.
