I work at an advertising agency and sometimes I'm just left with nothing to work on.
Then I just craft some stuff out of boredom. I've only done two things worth showing so far, but I'll keep this thread updated on the same pace as I do shit. Here's the first one. Book binding. Very tiny book binding! This one's a cigarette pack. For one cigarette! No textures because concept only but yeah. I'm considering contacting a printing press if I can expand this to a stop smoking-campaign or some shit. That's all for now. :< ____________________ |

I'm aware the small book isn't very purposeful.. it doesn't even have text in it. :<
It was more or less a challenge to myself if I can bind a book that small. Maybe I could hide it in a library? Or better yet, make a set of tiny-ass books and craft a tiny tiny shelf and hide that in the library? Regardless, thanks for the feedback all! Also, Flan, no, I haven't heard from this person. Sounds awesome. ____________________ |

NEW SHIT COMIN THROUGH
I heard the mailman drop by this morning but he didn't deliver any mail.. at least to me. Särkilahti is my neighbor. He's really small. Looks like he's got a letter. I suppose he doesn't mind if I take a look... Oh okay. For all you non-finns out there, it says "Hey Kari! What's going on these days? Are you still as small? I should be getting there sometime next month, it would be great to see you". ____________________ |

Thanks Haz!
This one's a bit more subtle... I hid it in an old vent. ?????????? A sticker? Apparently yeah. But I took the photo from such an angle that the purpose kinda melts... You see, the rain above the man and his trusty dachshund is actually a barcode. If you've got a reader on your phone or whatever, sticking it into the hole and reading it will grant you a message. But like I said I realized only afterwards that I took that last photo from a shitty angle so you can't read it unless you photoshop the rightmost 'merged' apart from each other or something. WELP I've got like 20 of these in different sizes so I guess I'll post another pic if I get around sticking another somewhere. ____________________ |

Geocaching? I better look that up. Sounds cool.
Also, I've hidden 24 of these little QR code stickers all over town. Each contain a unique motivational message. ____________________ |

Couldn't edit the post for some reason... welp, here's a new one.
This one's made from a toothpick and a laminated duplex print of a Piranha plant! I made four of these and sticked them on random public flowerbeds across town. lol ____________________ |

WELP here it is.
(if you're Finnish you'll get this instantly) the scale is 1:10 I'm born and raised in Pori, a relatively big town in Finland. It's also the place where I live right now. One of the most well-acclaimed beers of Finland is Karhu. It is Finnish and means "Bear". pictured: a 24-pack of Karhu-beer The word "Pori", the name of the town I live in originates from bears as well, originally deprived from Swedish "Björneborg" meaning "Bear castle". I decided to do a little tribute to Pori and its Karhu-beer by making my own beer. "Marsu" means "Guinea Pig" in English. I also made templates for tiny tiny little beer cans for cut pencils of which 24 would fit perfectly in the box. It's just that I can't find any goddamn round pencils from ANY STORE. They're all hexagonal. Why? ____________________ |

oink oink motherfuckers
It's a full-scale Pigmask soldier helmet papercraft. This amazing craft isn't designed by me, but this guy. I just optimized it to fit a real head. Took 10 A3's. That's a really bad image but more to come later today :G Here's a pic of it in its original size. Amazing craft, seriously. ____________________ |

(Doesn't look exactly as depicted above) I've lately made myself familiar with a service called Shapeways, which, in a nutshell, prints your 3D model into a physical object. I made this DK Coin, which is available in two different gold platings and the default white plastic. It's 4 centimeters wide and high and 0,7 centimeters deep. I've also made the K-O-N-G-letters but I haven't uploaded the models yet. You can check my shop for all my models. I'm also working on the other coins throughout the DKC series. The service is really awesome and I encourage everyone to join. ____________________ |

Since the dawn of time, humans have attempted to create the perfect chimera of a pipe and a cigarette holder.
In the year of 2011, in the age of 3D printing, the goal is finally achieved. Well, yeah. I made this cool cigarette holder you can keep in your hand like a pipe or leave to rest on a table. This would've never been possible if it wasn't for Shapeways. Like my DK Coin, this one was also 3D-printed and sent to me. It was super cheap, too! This is the first self-made model I've ordered, and I have to say that the quality is astounding. If any of you guys like 3D modeling, you should really get into Shapeways! I do not approve nor encourage smoking or tobacco products. If you are an underage customer, please refer to your parents on both, buying the product and the approval on purchasing a smoking peripheral. ____________________ |

It was 6,60 EUR. But I had to order two, because the minimum order is 25 USD. ____________________ |

A few months ago I wanted to create a comic that challenges the traditional norms of a (web) comic by introducing absurd and abstract structure. I don't wish anyone to comment "I don't get it", because sometimes "getting it" means not getting it.
Do not expect the traditional build-up, build-up, punchline-composition from all comics. Several are very open to interpretation. I came up with "Runkkula", a portmanteau of the words "Runkku" which means wanker/masturbation and "-la", which is the suffix for a place or a setting. Here are the original comics for Finnish readers. Here are all of them, translated. I apologize for the shoddy fonts in the first 19. I drew them by hand and don't have really the resources to retouch them perfectly. The 20th and the first colored strip is where I began digitalizing everything so the quality is better in every way in every strip after that. then dad left and he won customer is always right typical bunny antics .... the road is also rocky and very long and you know we could like tax it and profit the state jerry is a single dad employee of the year a two-day ticket is 60 euros I left this one untranslated on purpose.. I didn't feel like doing the job needed for it. The small note says "queue here" and the huge billboard upon the doors says "COCK LAND" i think this is one of those dad's games and besides i think this is softer concrete than usually (it actually was right there and he was serious) i was born in Tampere but when me and my parents moved to Runkkula when i was 4 or 5. it was 4 i think. can't remember but yeah i guess i manage not againnnn midsummer is the season for loving so deep 20€ fine thank you for your wisdom o guru and now it's fucktime nA.´éE K RR? R?op & where is present ____________________ |

Thanks guys!
The gluing failed a bit and I failed to estimate some of the properties of the paper's thickness, but all in all I'm pretty satisfied. I really didn't give it to anyone, but I'll include it in my portfolio. I was inspired by vintage cigarette packs, from an age where each was marketed as if they had no idea about the health risks. I wanted to bring an obvious evil to the mainstream for a moment. As if it was okay to do this. ____________________ |
