Is it just me, or is that layout difficult to read off of?

I can't read either.
The layout isn't also on its 100% height.

If you can't notice what's up you fail
Since I never really played any of the Metroid games, does this mean I fail?

Yeah it kinda does.
Get Super Metroid now.

Robot Masters:
Magma Man
Galaxy Man
Jewel Man

Hornet Man
Plug Man
Tornado Man
Splash WOMAN

That's right, punch him down for a simple mistake.
I'm sure he obviously meant 'Can you extract GFX from the ROM'. Yes you can.

Your missing my point. By 'he meant' I don't mean 'he meant to type'.
Maybe he's informed or unaware, but we all know what he's asking for.

Good news for you XBOX 360 and PS3 owners, this is no longer a Wii Ware exclusive.

..?
It's not?

The dude's page.
It's all in Japanese, but you can make out what stuff says with logic.

Pretty cool huh

My and my mate changed the lunch lists all over the school.
It was quite fun untill some guy actualy figured that BBQed mudkipz is not eatable. XD

My uncle does this all the time at his workplace, but what's even more amusing is that instead of doing them completely all over, he just slightly modifies the food names. Some of his greatest ones are 'Hitler's legs', 'Sweat' and 'Ham Stove'. My all time favourite is "Vegetarist's option - - - - - - - - Meat"

Works wonders as always, but the ROM detection fails, as you can open any .NES file in it.
Otherwise I spot no bugs. Keep up the good work..!

Is that music part of the hack or just something you added on top of the video?

Something he put on top of the video. You can hear the music fading out in the end but the pipe-down sound being at normal volume.

There's a pic of some scan, too.
I also hear there's an official confirmation by Square somewhere but I couldn't find the article.

That's exactly how I designed a whole hack (which, ironically enough I canceled later).
I did plans on paper, and it worked wonders. Usually if I work with an editor and try to design a level I get distracted by other things, unless I've had a sudden motivation boost like I did with my Super Mario Land 2 hack.

Just place the MSCOMCTL.OCX file to the folder where the Executable is.

Does the editor read graphics from the ROM? Those blocks with a translucent powerup on them got me wondering :X

That looks a lot better than the old GUI.

Definitely agreed.

No and I'm not going to add support initially because I load so much data from the rom as it is, I would have to change all the offsets to get it to work.

iirc you once stated that you're aiming to keep the thing as flexible as possible (as in, reading a lot of stuff from freely editable XML files). Did you ditch this concept or have I misinterpreted something..?

Ordinary glue works just fine. Just don't pour it like some sauce :U
Little drips should do the trick.
