Remember these bastards from DKC3?

I'm doing a papercraft of one. I've already got a test template, but haven't tested it out myself.
Link to template for anyone who's interested. Be sure to print on grayscale just in case. It's a real ink-waster if it fails.

Sutte Hakkun translation

Haven't heard anything from the Aeon Genesis version in some time.. Thought I'd go for a translation myself.

So yeah, Capcom has registered the title.
Sounds pretty awesome right.

I'm excited. It had better further the story; it'd be nice if it filled in the gaps between the classic and X series, though I don't see that happening. I also really hope it's released in disc or cart form, and not for XBox360 and PS3, as I have neither. Downloadable games have always irritated me because there's no physical copy to own and sell if need be, and I really don't want this game to follow that trend.

Regardless, a new classic game is awesome. I hope it plays like Rockman & Forte, which is my favorite modern MM game.

You took the words right from my mouth.
Although I'd like to see some more of an epic twist in it like Mega Man dying or something like that.

Mom found it after digging through her long list of ROM sites.

The game is indeed awesome. You're like this little glass hummingbird thing and you can suck up most of the sprites (or their colors) and put them somewhere else. The game gets some real difficulty around stage 4, however.

Hah, stage 4 is nothing when in comparison with the stages from island 3..!
Man, my mind is already ripped in half because of those levels :X

Keep in mind that you can view the level's solution if you want, but it will split your total score to half and give you a STAPLE OF SHAME

Remember these guys from SF64?

It's an A4.

If you need folding instructions or help, be sure to ask.

I just made this. Easily the best 30 minutes of my life.

Hey, that sounds awesome..! Think you could post a pic? I didn't have the ink to test it :<
@GK: Take reference from the little preview thing, and if you're still confused, I'll get off my ass and check the template :>

A google search didn't reveal much, but, then again, it was obviously done by a japanese person.

Ever get the impression the Japanese have nothing but free time?

20 hour work days.
Yeah, way too much spare time.

But yeah, this was very impressive. Hoping to see more.

That looks incredibly impressive. I hope more editors (especially tile editors) would have an animation preview function.
The Event editor looks pretty confusing to me, but I guess I'll see about that when I try it out.

And on another note, will the editor support the Japanese ROM?

What would be your motives for ever needing to hack the japanese SMRPG? Unused sprites or something?

I wouldn't necessarily need to hack the Japanese ROM. I was just thinking of someone who would, like maybe, I dunno, the Japanese people?

Grr I liked Rockman & Forte WS. The music was rockin' and well yeah it was a bit slow-ish.
But that can be fixed since I remember finding the offset for bullet speed! :>
That doesn't cover up the gravity wonkiness but hey, maybe someday.

Wow, these are cool. How do you make these? Make the model in a 3D imaging program then disassemble it?

There's a tool called 'Pepakura Designer' that converts 3D models to paper templates.
Also, here's the Saucer!
