This is interesting! You might remember me as the guy who PMed you back years ago asking for possible ports of the editor
But enough of that, this is so much more interesting. It looks very good, in my opinion.. I'm glad I've got an 1280 x 800 monitor, it looks very big and I feel a bit bad for all the 800 x 600ers out there. I especially like the text editor. Keep up the good work! EDIT: Be sure to take your time to write a readme. I don't want to see the forum drown into any 'plz help with lazy shell' topics.. ____________________ |

As far as I'm aware, 1024 x 768 is the primary resolution, 1280 x 800 is the 'new' resolution which is now pretty common and growing. ____________________ |

Looks pretty swell.
Now that we're still on the topic, do you still plan on making the localizations available? I remember your old translation thread but you never got around contacting me or Smallhacker for that matter, I guess. Keep up the good work. ____________________ |

Damn straight. Super Mario RPG alone looks just so complicated I couldn't even imagine an editor being made. Fantastic job! ____________________ |

Then buy a PSP, GP2X or a DS and fill it with better emulators.
The best in the emulation you'll be getting is a Nokia N-Gage. Zing! ____________________ |

Not necessarily even want to do the work, but to need. I can only imagine someone taking the time to write a Music Editor if he or she was going for a complete redesign of SMRPG, which is a bit far fetched anyway :X
One thing that still bothers me are the graphics. SMRPG had an unique style unlike SMW with SMB3 and SMB2 graphics. Where mostly all graphics were compatible with SMW, SMRPG is a no go. Unless there's some really good Pixel Artists around here (SMRPG Redrawn har har no) or someone who knows an Isometric game that shares a graphical style with SMRPG. ____________________ |

There are some scrolling issues but your level design and graphic choices are far beyond superb! ____________________ |

That looks really awesome..! The Script system must be incredibly confusing but you make it look so simple. Great job, both of you!
Now that you mentioned it, how are you in contact with Giangurgolo? I had to ask something about his DKC notes but never found anything I could contact him with. ____________________ |

Posted by Omega45889 Seems like I didn't word my message properly.. What I meant was that custom palettes are indeed possible, and ever more possible with Lazy Shell. The point was to prove that Palette editing isn't rocket science, but either way it'll be a cakewalk with Lazy Shell (hopefully :>) ____________________ |

I am a supporter of Open Source technology, so no.
Even if you add a locking feature, someone is bound to figure out how to unlock the ROM (See RLM). However, if you are going to add the feature despite my opinion, you should both, make the locking system actually good (i.e. not a one byte check), and have the editor lock hacks only with significant changes. ____________________ |

The very final boss battle must have the SSBB Final Destination theme somehow in it. ____________________ |

Can't wait..! Won't the program lag like hell, though? You know, if a room has so many different sprites in it.. ____________________ |
