Eh, kinda sounds NESish. :-/ Also a much more tropical feel to it than the original.

Can the instrument samples not be ported?

Unless I'm mistaken, which I certainly don't doubt, you can change instruments by breaking the sound compression system and modifying the waveforms, all this possible on a program called SNESSOR95.

XD the sad thing is, toad's tool has a built in texture import/exporter and he could not find it. >.>That eliminates (most of ) the need for tile molester in SM64

Tile Molester should never be used for texture editing. It handles the format incorrectly and finding masks is frustrating.

Or marquee it.

But nonetheless, nice find. I never thought about that.

Rarely the EPX mode.

I don't know about you, but I kind of hope the tile picker isn't like that screenshot. It always takes so long to find the correct corresponding tile and I hate editors that use it.

This man speaks the truth. Give him a medal.

Tile picking has always been a problem in just about each level editor I've used. If anything should be done, a separate window where the hacker can organize all of the tiles used, and X-flip and Y-flip them through key combinations of such.

I can't help but to ask why are all your SPC dumps named 'something.sp#"? Instead of the C there, it displays a number, like sp3 or sp5. I have to manually rename them always :p

Alright, I'm in quite a pickle here. I have 54 PNG images, all of them 512 x 448.
What I really need here is to resize them all to 256 x 224. I was told that there's no resizing command for multiple files at once, and I have to do them one-by-one through Photoshop. After trying with both, AppleWorks and PhotoShop, I came across two problems:
-Photoshop makes a resized image blurry.
-AppleWorks is incapable of resizing 'perfectly'.

What should I do here? D:
Does anyone have a program that would help me with this problem, or anything?
Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem before, and came to the conclusion that an imaging program which resizes properly doesn't exist. You could try resizing using a HTML file, this seems to work proerly but I have not tested it.

HTML File for resizing...? Care to elaborate? I can't possibly figure out how anything web-based could resize stuff

I do not run an operating system that has a "System Tray".

Best I can show you is my Dock. And I won't.

It has Finder, Quicksilver, Firefox, Adium and iTunes. And that's it.

Oh my lord. Four Applications? Jeez.
My Dock contains Finder, iPhoto, AppleWorks, iTunes, MacIrssi, System Preferences, MSN Messenger, Firefox, Garageband, iChat, BitTorrent, HP Scan Pro, MilkyTracker, 0xED, SNES9x, and after the separator, there's Donkey Kong Country.smc, TileMolester, Macromedia, rflpage and the Trashbin.

When a hack has the words "The secret of ......" I really think that it indeed, has a mind-blowing, plot-twisting secret that the player never could've expected.
It really sounds like the game has nothing to with anything secret, so plan around that.

But judging from the screenshots, pretty creative.

No.
If anything, integrate music requests to this thread.
Besides, I think it'd be better for someone to write a tutorial so everyone would learn the music format and could write/port the music themselves instead of humbly asking for someone else to do it.

The speech bubble is alright I guess, but I don't like how you've drawn the characters.
I mean, look at her lower armpit. The brushwork there looks really choppy.

I didn't mean that...
I meant the edge of her shirt or whatever, near the armpit. Look at the edge of it.

I had to eyeball it since the panel was a little overly sized, and I didn't feel like doing it again.
All I have is a mouse and Photoshop 6. Don't expect miracles. I'm still learning.
Thanks for pointing it out, Sam.

Hey, it's alright.
From a guy who says he's "only learning" and with only a Mouse and Photoshop 6, that's pretty damn good!

From those screenshots, it looks pretty nice. The pun is great too.
I'm looking forward to this hack.
