Hey you're right.
Now that I look at his bottom part, it is kinda choppy :o

And the lag is probably because the blur filter is on "high" quality, which I shouldn't have done. It causes lag even with fast computers. :{

Works fine for me. But the lighter color blob on top of the eyes looks a bit unnatural. Perhaps if the eyes were in front?

I was gonna do that too, but couldn't think a way to do it.
The eyes aren't a separate object, and even if they were, it would make no difference what layer it was on, since the Shine is a shape tween and always on the top, no matter what.

Maybe some crazy script that forces the eyes to be on the top layer could work.

Thanks for the comments, both of you! I'll use them for future reference.

You should make it so that if the OCX error appears, it gives instructions how to fix the problem.

Or either auto-include it with the program.

He doesn't have a left arm. It was bitten off by a wizard.

At night.

Nonetheless, thanks for the comments, everyone, I might color it eventually.

It's pretty hard to download the editor without an internet connection, too.

What I mean is that let's say you download ZF and the ZM ROM to your laptop, only to have something to do on a long trip to Alabama with no connection to Internet.

Ahh, Now I can finally relax and start development on my Zero Mission Hack muhahahaWHAAAAT WHERE IS OCX32 NOOOO.

You get my meaning.

I read up some Japanese Mythology and decided to draw something like that.
Experiment with Brush tool on Flash, since 99% of my other drawings consist strokes.
So yeah, this has been made completely with the brush tool \o/

I don't know what the Japanese symbol means. I created a topic on another forum asking for random Japanese symbols so I could make this guy look cool.

Seriously, whaaaaat.
I was searching for the font in (European 1.0) DKC, and after a bit of searching I came across to this (0x0015DE00):

That's the Super Metroid Debug font, Kraid's foot and the broken particles from Space Station Ceres.
Donkey Kong Country was released a few months after Super Metroid.
Interesting.

Debug... font?

There was a debug menu in Super Metroid?

But past that, somehow this doesn't suprise me. Hell, Metroid Fusion was bulit on top of Wario Land 4, and the debug room even looks exactly the same...

There were several debug rooms in WL4 and MF unless I'm mistaken.

Nonetheless, yeah, there's a Debug menu in Super Metroid. It can be accessed through an Action Replay cheat which is escaping me at the moment.
If you can get contact with Kejardon, I'm sure he'll give it to you.

sounds like its just a bad/over dump or the dumper had that in memory from before, whatever.

the same thing happened with Sonic 1; there were graphics that for years people thought were un-used, but it turns out they were just artifacts from a different game.

I figured it was an overdump too, but the ROM has a [!] mark on it...
Really strange.

The menu slightly resembles Mac OS 7's interface. Is it intentional?

Great work nonetheless.
