New SMB was an awesome game.

Doom 3: Huge hype about how it was going to be fuckin' awesome and everything. Then it was released, and it sucked. Very little real action in the game, too dark too see anything, too easy (goes to the fact it has little action).

The original Doom and Doom II far outshine Doom 3.


You are a liar. Also, what's with people in the "oh god too dark i cant see" boat? You can adjust your brightness you know...

What do you even mean by this? It was an amazing game, except for the Matrix like plot twist at the end.

I guess, but at least combat was better. The level scaling was stupid though, but that can be fixed by OOM.

You start with a small organism, it grows up into something zany, end of game.

People are going apeshit for it too. I just don't get the appeal of a wacky life form generator. It's like making a character in an rpg, watching it eat a bunch of food, then the end. No plot or gameplay, just eating and growing.
