Sorry, just had to get this out of my system. I've never seen it like this in all of the years I've been in the scene. Where did everybody go? And I can understand perfectly that real-life priorities take place, I have them myself, we all do, but this is just ridiculous.  And sometimes I really work my ass off, especially when I was going to school and working at the same time. I still had time to visit the forum and post, and hack on the side. It'd be nice to get some inspiration from other people's hacks once in a while, like we used to get all the time. Oh well.  ____________________ My YouTube Channel |

Well, I have some ideas on how to get it more active.
- New banner (who wants to come to a board that is "a miserable little pile of drama") - Perhaps a new board layout. - Put the name out there. When I was a member of TEK Hacks, me and 2 other people, got everything organized, and a couple months later, TEK Hacks was booming with activity. It then became that big place you knew it to be. It was me, Chaos Force, and Chill Penguin, I believe. Too long ago to remember exactly. But we pulled it off. We need to advertise the name Acmlm's Board when we go to other forums, blogs, web sites. Put it in your sig. I know a lot of people don't like advertising, but how else are you going to get people to come? How does anything ever get popular? Word of mouth. When you spread the word, people will come to see what it is all about. And I don't know if we have a main site or not, but if we don't, we should really get one. It can be done. I know I wouldn't want to go to a board that might have a lot of fighting on it, hence "a miserable little pile of drama." We want to keep the banner positive. Something like "Having fun since 1999", or something like that. Posted by boingboingsplatNo, it wouldn't, but it might help to put a fresh coat of paint on, if you know what I mean. And since we have layouts already selectable, perhaps we should should make one of those the new default. As for the banner, I'll make one. I took the "2" out, but if I were to put a background in, I would have to start all over, because filling in would reduce the quality of the image.

Okay. Well, what do you guys want to be the new name? Or, can I be creative, and come up with my own, and see if you like it? But the fact that "Acmlm's" doesn't apply anymore, means I have to make a new banner anyway.

In the last 2 months, I've been playing Mega Man Ultra, Rockman No Constancy, Mega Man IV, Mega Man II, and Super Mario Bros. 2.

Is it: Mega Man, MegaMan, or Megaman? I don't even think Capcom is consistent with this.

I agree that some of the names could've been better. They should've called Plug Man "Voltage Man", or "Electron Man", or maybe even "Shock Man". Plug Man isn't the greatest of names. ____________________ My YouTube Channel |
