My ISP doesn't have a download cap.
But it does have an upload cap. I've gotten about five warning e-mails over the last seven years. |

7 was okay. Nothing more, nothing less.
8 made me want to stab myself in the eyeballs with very sharp knives. 8 also made me stop paying attention to the series for a very long time. I've recently picked up 10, and it is now my favorite video game. I'm willing to give 9 a chance. I'm not willing to give 11 and 12 a chance. |

That's because nothing supports laptop hardware, really.
I tried running Edgy off the liveCD on my mom's laptop, and it seemed to work okay, except for the part where it didn't have any wireless networking support, which made it completely useless. |

I'd prefer Pearl, because it has Houndoom and Misdreavus.
But since I have no DS, nor do I have any interest in getting one, I'm stuck waiting for a decent emulator. |

This is what happens when you only have six Al Bhed primers |

It takes a lot of time for rom hackers to do translating. It goes a lot faster when you've got access to the complete script and full source code.
Plus there's the fact that the most popular games have already been translated by rom hackers, which means the official translators would only have to polish off the rough edges and remove all the hackers' stupid in-jokes (DE-JAP!). Add to this the fact that the Wii alone will be around for about 4-5 more years and the fact that as long as it remains profitable Nintendo will probably keep the same VC setup in their next system, and translation time pretty much becomes a non-issue. As opposed to something that would actually be technical and complicated, like adding region-specific coding to convert games into a video format that noone outside Europe gives a damn about (PAL WHINERS!). Not that I'm calling anyone here a PAL whiner. But they're out there, constantly boo-hooing about how noone will give them special attention because their continent is too stupid to convert to NTSC like the rest of the world. |

Posted by HyperHackerPosted by Kailieann The fan-translation would have to be at least semi-accurate or else people wouldn't be playing it. And again, the official translation team would have access to the full original script, so they would still be able to check for accuracy and make any necessary corrections/adjustments a lot faster and easier than with just starting from scratch. |

I would share if I could get away with it. Which I can't.
My ISP keeps harping on me about going over their acceptable upload bandwidth limits. I've gotten 7 warning e-mails in as many years. Note that they've never actually bothered to tell me what they consider an acceptable upload bandwidth limit to be, so I just have to keep bumping around in the dark and hope I don't fall off the invisible cliff. Hence why I don't share. I keep uTorrent (1.5) capped at 6 kbps uploads, and as soon as my downloads are done I clear them and close the program. |

Why would you need a legendary with a good nature, anyways? It's not like you're ever going to use it for anything. |

Posted by Drag My problem is the opposite. I want a good number of DS games, and I'd be more than willing to pay for them. I just don't want a DS to play them on. Hopefully Nintendo will come out with a DS Player for the Wii, as that's looking like it'll be my only hope for these games. |

I've had a few cases of Metroid Thumb, particularly from Fusion, but nothing compares to emulating Mario64 back before I got an analog gamepad.
My thumb was seriously sore for a month. |

Posted by Uncle Elmo I can make a very long list of technological innovations that were made extinct by technically inferior alternatives. I maintain that noone outside Europe cares, nor will they ever. |

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I seem to recall that last time I looked at the Special World blocks, they were checking the wrong RAM address.
Perhaps you should cross-reference with SMW-Central's Memory Map to make sure it's reading from the right RAM address. |

I got it for virtual console.
So far, I have to say it's extremely overrated. |

Get a mac.
The only problem you'll ever have with an iLap is the fact that it's a mac. |
