USB keyboards are fairly cheap, if you can't find a spare somewhere. |

Is it bad that I'm laughing my ass off, especially after seeing "1989-2008"? What is that date for, your age? (Protip: copyright doesn't work like that) |

I've had the game for a couple of days and only 25 stars... but it's so awesome
Probably the only game to actually get me dizzy from playing it, heh. |

Spock: Captain, there is an unusually high number of japanophiles in this sector. Extreme caution is recommended. |

Use Nestopia's NTSC emulation and there's no reason to use palettes.
Palettes were made for when NES emulators used an RGB hack for rendering (which was considered "good enough"); when Nestopia emulates an NTSC screen, colors are rendered exactly how they appear on a TV. |

Story about it. Album site. NIN band site.
In case you're having trouble getting the official free distribution (I was..), there's an official torrent for it too. Download it, it's awesome. Being under a CC license, the whole set can actually be redistributed, but I would rather support them by purchasing it There's the first 9 tracks for free in 128 Kbps MP3s, $5 gives you downloads for all 36 songs in 320 Kbps MP3, FLAC, and/or Apple Lossless formats, $10 gives you two physical CDs, $75 gives you a data DVD with wave files to make remixing the album easier, $300 would get you a limited-edition including ultra-high-quality on Blu-ray and vinyls of the album. Obviously a very smart move Reznor is making |

Online banking is somewhat tedious, but it still tends to be quicker than having to get up and go to your music store and buying a CD |

He didn't say all other countries. Just "other countries" which means 2 or more. |

www.wheresgeorge.com
I founds this site a couple days ago (via Wikipedia...), and it's a fairly interesting prospect. The idea is fairly simple: enter paper money into the database, mark it (most popular seems to be rubber stamps), and use it per normal. Then you hope someone will notice the URL on the dollar bill, go to the site, and enter it again (called a hit). I imagine a lot of people will ignore such a marking, but it's still quite fun. Here's an example bill that I marked (yeah, I did all 77 in pen I will buy a stamp to do it): For those people not native to the United States, there's Where's Willy? for Canadian paper money, and a bunch of other sites for other currencies (including Euros, Swedish kronor, etc). In the system so far, I've entered 77 bills totaling $199: BY DENOMINATION: $2 bills - 57 (big fan of $2 ) $1 bills - 15 $20 bills - 3 $5 bills - 2 BY SERIES: 2003A - 66 2003 - 4 2004 - 3 2006 - 3 2001 - 1 STAR NOTES: One $20 bill, series 2004 BY FEDERAL RESERVE BANK: San Francisco (L) - 65 Chicago (G) - 5 Richmond (E) - 3 New York (B) - 2 Boston (A) - 1 Dallas (K) - 1 BY BLOCK LETTER (last serial number letter): * - 1 A - 59 B - 5 D - 1 E - 2 F - 1 G - 3 I - 3 M - 1 Q - 1 BY ZIP CODE: 89199, Las Vegas Nevada - 77 (I'm here until April 3) |

APNG.... .... WHY?
I never heard of it before, but its purpose makes no sense. Why not MNG, a specification that's been around for years longer? Hell, Mozilla even supported MNG at one point but was removed for mysterious reasons. |

There's been a format to replace GIF animations for the last 10 years, called MNG. |
