RPG Revelation, for example, had Tuvai, Acmlm, Colin, Hiryuu, many others (just these that spring to mind). EDS has Elric and Happypeepeehead, as well as a few others. Nifty Boards had Shroomy, Acmlm, Emuz, many others. I think most of them just used Acmlmboard layouts because it was free and done by a friend, as opposed to other, more popular things like wwwthreads that potentially cost money (I never dealt with it, so I cannot say for sure.) |

Of course, and any spinoff will have its own feel regardless of who's there or what's going on.
Even this board's feel has changed over time. Nothing's the same as anything else, unless it's a complete, 100% clone. |

I've already stated many times it should just be shut down and finally laid to rest.
Archive only the ROM hacking forums, delete the rest, and just give a link to rhdn. Destruction is the only way to end this cleanly. Otherwise you get people who are controversial of the current leader, and already a "no-leader" system as now has proved to be ineffective. |

I don't see a response to my question there. I explictly asked who asked you to restore it. I see only "I talked with Ailure and some others". Not good enough, especially for someone who claimed he'd never override any of Acmlm's decisions... Then you turn around and threaten to get him banned from RO*, demand an apology for the event, and more. Then, even funnier, you twist around and say how "oh I don't want to be a leader"/"I never intended for this", yet here you are. *Admittedly I did this too, but the tone was not serious at all. It was a list of things to consider, not a threat of action. (P.S. Xaero: this is good stress relief, to be honest. Not to mention fun!) |
