This is literally your worst idea ever. Don't do this.
60-80 hours a week without school is tough enough. Edit: if it's without any classes at all though, you could probably do it. Or a few undergraduate level classes at night or something... could pull it off. Anything more than that, I just don't see it happening, especially graduate level course work. You don't even know how you'll perform at the undergrad level, I strongly doubt they'd let a student fresh out of high school take grad classes, considering you have to demonstrate a special case to take them as an undergrad to begin with.... ____________________ Robocop and 이명박 voted for me. |

Make two Latest Posts categories - one for global latest posts for people who want to read the general sections of the board or things like that and one for the rom hacking section, that way people who come here with the utilitarian purpose of learning more about rom hacking or getting updates on what others are doing don't have to worry about reading other content. ____________________ Robocop and 이명박 voted for me. |

Actually, I agree. Giving people as much flexibility as possible over their user experience is something I think that should be definitely promoted. One of the nice things about AB is the current amount of user control one gets over one's own experience. I found this to be very revealing of the disconnect between the new and old. For instance, this bit here:
The difference here is that Swartz's actions still left original copies in place, he did not walk in and take the only possible copies of these articles, he just made new ones, which was within his rights as a campus library user. Now, he did cross matters a bit by breaking into the closet, I agree, but to conflate this with stealing the only copies existing at a library just highlights how out of touch the older generation is with the Shiny 'New' Digital Future. If true, this would be very impressive. We've recognized the ability of microbes in the past to be able to synthesize environmental toxins (well, for us and many other macroorganisms they are toxins.. maybe not for certain microbes  ). I have not yet read the actual research this is based on (was planning on going looking for PDFs later today)... but based on the WSJ article, this is very exciting, especially considering how long we expected the recovery in the Gulf to take from an environmental standpoint. Posted by (ノ ゜Д゜)ノ I did not know you were in favor of "academic" (as if, more like profiteering) publishers maintaining a stranglehold on information paid for and funded by the public at large and then charging us back for it. The current way information is disseminated at present is the worst possible model out there for flow of information.
