Try moving the cloud up, it takes up too much space in the level height. Aside from that, try darkening the palettes (what Supertails said). It looks good aside from that.

Also, I thought that you were trying to make your levels less linear. However, I keep seeing linear levels (unless there are some secret things I'm missing). D:

1) I can't, layer 3 can only go up so far.
2) Ever hear of pipes?

Anyway, I like your SMB1 slope graphics. The graphics change of the Chargin' Chuck, though, seems wrong...its feet aren't attached and its head is four times bigger than its body.

The Forums will be crap at Nightfall. Nightfall is doomed to adopt the idiots from SMWC. It will hopefully become a resource like SMWC was (with tools, patches, etc.) but for all types of ROM Hacking.

For whatever reason when I make .asm files with tsram.exe, it outputs files in the parent directory. Check there.

Well... I don't know what's wrong with those forums, though: browsing through those threads I've found a lot of information on ExGFX, ASM, tools and the like that otherwise I'd have to ask each time... It's a good place for starters like me...

It is the same questions over and over. Most of them aren't smart enough to look for threads with similar questions like you.
