I'm running a world generation now. At +600 years of history. Mine never passed 200 before! (Make that +700)

Edit: It stopped at 1050. That's a lot of history!
Edit 2: Looking through Legends. Forgotten beasts wooo!


Somebody needs to draw this.

There's also megabeasts that have survived the entire millennium of history, which rocks.

Edit 3: Whoa, a forgotten beast that is a blob composed of steam. Yeah.

I got to like 4 caves just by digging on one square, straight down. One had an underground lake. The last one was a magma sea. With adamantine. Also, undiggable half melted rock.

Yeah, the only way is to effectively kill them is to dump magma on them. That or pin them against another BC with a two-handed sword made out of a new legendary material.

Yeah, it's not like we have many people here playing DF at all. Even then we wouldn't all be signed in at the same time.

Edit: 0.32.02 is out now, which fixes some crash bugs and fixes some mistakes in the raws.

n the new version making pig iron bars (and presumably steel bars also, I'll get to that in a second) at a non-magma smelter uses 2 units of coke. Didn't it only need one in the old version?

v0.31.03 is out now. Undead and skeletal creatures are no longer pretty much unkillable, although that was done in a fashion that doesn't make much sense.

Yeah, I've done that too! I survived for a while until I was surrounded by 20 people who all proceeded to pummel me.

Also once I started an adventurer in an island civ, didn't feel like swimming across the ocean, and started killing human towns. I wiped out 2 towns before I decided to take a dip to train my swimming ability in a murky pool.

Then I started melting. Wheee, bugs.
