As the series has gone on, I can say this:
As more games were developed, the quality of the pokemon declined, however, the mechanics from generation to generation has vastly improved. Competitive play in D/P/Pt is really fun, thanks the the physical/special move split.

Not really a bump since the thread was posted in just 2 days before...

However, I see the ability to be able to compress or do whatever with the level cards a nice alternative to full hacks, as you can just release your card. (Granted I don't think most emulators actually support the e-reader.)

Yeah, this came up in irc so I thought I'd make a thread just to throw a few ideas out there:

The Luck stat - Maybe make it so that if your luck stat is higher, you have a higher chance of earning high amounts of coins with each post or thread.

Additional Helms and Boots - Nothing specific, but if you want something specific I can throw some ideas out there. Right now the selection of actually decent (and reasonably priced) items is pretty slim.

Anyone else with small ideas is welcome to chime in too.
I know we probably won't get a full RPG system, but I like the item shop simply for the novelty of it.

So, who here hikes? I went hiking this weekend. 4 miles up the mountain, 4 miles back. Fun for the whole family!

I've done a 10 mile canoe trek followed the next day with a 8 mile hike through the woods. Carrying at least 20 lbs of gear on my back.

I've also done an 8 mile cross-county ski trek over two days in the middle of the winter. Pulling my gear on a sled behind me. Some of which was uphill.

All together it was pretty freaking awesome.
