And it can be especially bad if the thread is actually going fine, but into a direction the orginal thread poster isn't agreeing about.

Prefer that the original thread poster have to send a PM to a full mod and state the reason. If it's good enough, the admin should close it.

Or maybe there could be some sort of request thread closed form. You'd state the reason and a staff member could close it if it's a satisfactory reason.

You should totally put a giant oven in there somewhere. It would fit... wouldn't it?

Anyway, I like it, but it should look warmer, more orangey glow... maybe make the enemies more orange to match... things like that.

I remember a dream I had when I was a little kid, but like you, a rarely dream anymore.

Well, I was in school, and it was flooded with murky water up to my waist. There were some other people too. And then there was the monster-rhino-hippo thing that attacked people, so we fled to the cafeteria, and went in a (nonexistent) storage room (which was strangely unflooded.) For whatever reason there was a TV in there and I watched it until the dream ended.

Pretty strange.

Heh, reminds me of something I had planned for my level "Candlelight Tower," but never got around to doing it.

Also, I'd suggest making those blocks match the color of the support beam and maybe fit a black outline into the beam.

Well I certainly liked Mountain Heights the most

I didn't like Mountain Heights, as it wasn't that creative. The only creative part I saw was the lava pillar room, but the rest seemed like a failed attempt at creativity, making it worse.

This isn't a "creativity" contest, it's a "level design" contest.
A level doesn't need to have a gimmick to have good level design.
