Posted by MMXPERT Let's look at this from a random dumbass' point of view. All caps name--wait, no, I shouldn't be trolling right now. The average dumbass (and/or smart person) will disassemble your name into "MM" and "XPERT", which further expands into "Mega Man Expert". (I would like to cast some deliriously biznasty aspersions on this claim, but again, I shouldn't be trolling right now.) And I believe you were, in fact, previously told by multiple members of staff including Kawa, KP9000, and me during my brief period on staff that you are to stop using those kinds of unimportant images with your posts and start working on developing a more mature posting fashion. Regarding the actual thread topic, I honestly don't give much of a shit about any of the new Mega Man junk. ____________________ we're currently experiencing some technical difficulties |

I tried compiling this; it miserably failed, with no ability to view placeable tiles properly.
What the hell did I do wrong? E: Basically, it does this. E2:

Thanks to an inspection by KP9000 sparked by my suggestion to check the Graphics Editor, we've discovered that default.chr has a 16-byte header, causing the graphics bug I demonstrated in my previous post.
Deleting the first 0x10 bytes of this file and recompiling will cause all new projects to display correctly. Copy Daiz.NES.Reuben.ProjectManagement.dll into your Reuben installation to fix the problem if you don't want to recompile. If you compile from source, or if you are DahrkDaiz, copy default.chr into Daiz.NES.Reuben.ProjectManagement\Resources\ and recompile to fix this bug. ____________________ we're currently experiencing some technical difficulties |

If I were you, I'd make sure I clicked "save" on First World before trying to compile the ROM.
This may or may not be the problem. I don't know. ____________________ we're currently experiencing some technical difficulties |

Posted by blackhole89 It's "aimed" at stopping the progression of "piracy" caused by uploading music and music videos and television shows and etc. to Youtube etc. You know, the least popular method of piracy on the internet. Also, the key here is that it isn't targeted specifically at any one type of media (in this case, what everyone's whining about is how it'll affect games), but at any and all copyrightable media. ____________________ we're currently experiencing some technical difficulties |

Posted by DarkonMK * GreyMaria notices the Nintendo logo after KP9000 points it out in IRC Are you... Are you serious... That... What. EDIT: While we're at it, how many Sega logos can you folks count? EDIT 2: After playing through the first five levels, I can certainly say that there is far more to this hack than you have displayed here. I'll say my expectations were lowered by the lack of quality screenshots... and the terrible box art certainly doesn't help your case either. Your levels seem a bit easy and short with the occasional large difficulty spike, but that could be because I'm not familiar with Sonic 1's mechanics. Your levels could do with some serious graphical polishing - I found myself often unable to determine what was solid and what was walk-through. The graphics were a bit glitchy, perhaps because I patched to the wrong ROM dump. What dump did you use to create this hack? ____________________ we're currently experiencing some technical difficulties |
