Funny. I dunno if this is another bug but why do everyone turn male in here that has female set on the username?
BooUrns' sig. I'm not going to be more informative than this, but it's not a bug.

I shouldn't make male usernames turn female in my sig.

In fact, I'll leave that to someone else.

Set it so that you can PAUSE with rightclicking, and set CELL COLOR with left click while paused.

That'll be good.

Yeah, there's two steps.

1. Work on your grammar and spelling, and learn about this wonderful thing called punctuation.

2. Pick up a hex editor and start hacking the music.

lwares: Please keep your requests in the ASM thread as well. While your requests are more reasonable, they are not things I can't answer off the top of my head, and thus take time.
These are not requests they are questions.

Posted by lwares
what are the ASM codes to make the rideable shyguys and tweeters act like their SMB. 2 counterparts?

what parts of the phanto code should I put for it to make a sound when it first starts to move and whilst its moving?

Also, what parts of the carryable egg code should I put for it to make a sound when it is being picked up and thrown?

You're asking for ASM thus your questions should be in the ASM Requests thread.

By the way, mikeyk. Do Classic Spinies flip if they get knocked from standing on top of a turn block or brick block like they do in SMB3?
Shouldn't take too long to figure out, jsut get the sprite and insert it into a test ROM.

I should really get back into hacking SMW...

Ah, there was, somewhere, a .zip that included code for this, in the form of an ips and readme, plus example blocks.. unfortunately, I don't know a link to it, just the name (custom1.zip) :/
I used to have that thing but damned if I can remember where I got it from. Maybe SMW Central has it...?

Nope, dammit.

Maybe I could search for custom1.zip?
EDIT: Dammit! The blocks no longer exist on the internet!

I heard that Blocktool has map16++ blocks included with it...

I'm on the bottom of the comment list.

Direct link to Physics Illustrator download (fully compiled, some changes)

Physics Illustrator is just a physics program designed for tablet PCs, though it's more like a fun toy for anyone and everyone. Yes, this does work on a normal PC.

You can draw something like this...

say you made a slope and anchored it to the background.
Then, you made a rectangle and two circles, and pinned the circles to the rectangle, like wheels.
You draw a line down on the background to show you want gravity...

and when you push play the cart rolls down the slope.

Just play with it and post your saves

(To make a rod, make a line between two items without looping. To make a rope, make one loop, and for a spring, one and a half or more loops. Circles are really hard to draw.)

That never happens for me.

Were there three files in the zip? Did you put them all in the same place?

There was a failure on the motherboard.

I thought the thing was destroyed by your ex-BF or whatever during a violent fight... or did it survive that?

You're asking for ASM thus your questions should be in the ASM Requests thread.
Here is a question for anyone:
What is the difference between asking for a piece of ASM code to insert into a custom sprite and asking for a ASM code to be inserted into a hack?

Well the answer to my question is that I'm not requesting anything regarding inserting ASM into a hack!!! So this shouldn't be posted in the ASM/Custom Sprites/etc thread. (which ends up like every other request that gets ignored!) In otherwords, I am asking a simple but complicated question regarding inserting a piece of code into a custom sprite.

Now unless anyone wants this to become a arguement regarding over what is and what isn't a request or a question then, so be it!

You're asking for a modification to sprites.

That means you're making a REQUEST for ASM/CUSTOM SPRITES.

Take it to the request thread now.

Okay, just calm down Grey Mario.

You're correct I am asking for a modification to sprites.

Although, I am not making a REQUEST for ASM/CUSTOM SPRITES.

So, unless you want to take this to a higher authority then do so as this is now getting pointless!

1. You are asking how to modify a custom sprite. As such, you are asking for a piece of ASM.

2. "Asking" is a synonym for "requesting".

[. As such, you are requesting ASM to modify a custom sprite.

Logic, you ain't failed me yet.
