I find it hard to believe that the first dungeon is that hard - guess I'll have to just grind my attack and defense or something.

The Roto-Disc (what you're thinking of), if it hasn't already been created, shouldn't be much harder than a modified Fire Bar. If you're willing to dive head-first into some ASM, you could check out the firebar code and try to modify it to create a Roto-Disc.

EDIT: On a completely unrelated note, this completely helpful post earned me a totally useless 500 coins exactly. Hooray for random numbers.

There is nothing better than one of those. Particularly the ones from Sonic. Dairy Queen's are just too expensive and they also don't come in styrofoam cups.

Also, apparently the burgers at Sonic are awesome as well. Lacking in sesame seeds, but still awesome.

I have this problem too. You need original title screen. Use SMB-Fix
Link:
http://www.zophar.net/utilities/neslevel/smb-fix.html

Using a utility to fix your own mistake (in this case, downloading a broken SMB1 rom) is pointless. :V

The best video game music composer in the earth, Koji Kondo .

Nthed. Because the Super Mario Land credits are awesome.

Also, whoever did the NSMB music.

Damn, I can be thick sometimes...

I guess it would be fine to make a suggestion, but since it can't add it to the poll there would have to be massive support for it and everyone who voted for something else would have to change their vote to "Not Appearing in this Film".

So that's what that option's for?

I voted it because a game by the name of Mega Man: Does Not Appear In This Film would be awesome.

I could summarize my thoughts on the three posts before this one by placing my palm on my face.

And the one below, too.

I guess that's asking too much... oh well.

Those are simple instructions. If you can't figure out how to replace certain numbers with certain other numbers in the blocktool entry for the block, then you'll need to learn that.

I'm waiting.

Very patiently, considering my head is all but melting right now from the suspense. How much work (i.e. how many features need to be finalized/fixed/tweaked, how close the paste function is to being complete, etc) would you say is left until we can break the space-time continuum with a concentrated beam of pure awesome?

Also, I'll drop a "no" on the idea of a random map generator, a "shit yes :D" on the Clear menu, and a question: what about the climb up the cliff in Land's End(?)? Will that be editable?
